Well they had our tiffin phantom for a month to replace a part for the hot water heater and to replace a part in the refrigerator, the one part for the hot water heater was $6.69. and the refrigerator part came in and was defective, so make a long story short they charged us over 900.00 for basically nothing !!!! They how ever did agree to refund us back $400& change !!! Because we were going to fight this all the way to court and honestly it was the right thing to do.we have yet to receive the money, I pray Escanaba Michigan has someone looking to go into to business goes into working on motorhome's and campers because camping world is the only place and that's just awful for how they charge people because it is the only place and they are about the dollar over customers satisfaction, so we will get the refrigerator fixed on our way or in Florida where there is compaction and they won't take advantage of a customer like this awful place did !!! Word to the wise go somewhere else before you subject your wallet to this place 🙏.

Picked up our new camper. Had problems after 10 miles. Called and spoke with Service. Went back and they fixed the issue on the spot. Everyone was very accommodating and apologetic.

Our shackles broke on our camper axles, thankfully, when we were only a few miles down the road from this location! I have to say, the service/parts department was AMAZING! They went well out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed to fix our issue! Huge shoutout to Tiny! Tiny, thank you SO much! We appreciated all of your help and your time to make sure we got off okay on our trip! Highly recommend this location for all your camping needs! Great place, amazing staff! 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩

UPDATE: we recently had to go back for warrenty work. Altough it took a while to get the camper back. We were extremely satisfied with the work completed. Initial experience was bad but glad we went back for a second chance.Original review: recently purchased a camper and it was a terrible experience. Our sales person, Vince was wonderful to work with. Once we chose a camper, it went completely down hill. The finance manager was extremely difficult to work with and very pushy. Brand new camper and it had issues. When trying to get assistance to fix it, we were told they did not have time. Overall this was an extremely disappointing experience and will not be back

We verbally and through emails agreed to a price of $19,990 and was charged $20,990. Sadly I didn't catch it because after they added warranty in a few other fees it was $27,000 which seems really high for $19, 990,They were being very dodgy when it came to the financial aspect(whatever to know final costs before you ran my credit) I asked them why and they said because of these warranties and stuff I asked them to take it off and they did, all but change the sticker price back to the agreed amount. Point of the matter is they slipped $1,000 to the agreed price and I didn't catch it (shame on both parties) which is a bit Shady for a business to do. It seemed like a great deal and I drove over 12 hours there and back to get the camper.Other then the financial aspect the people were friendly and helpful that's the only reason I gave the 2 star. Just don't mess with people's money!

I don't recommend buying anything from this place. I came in knowing which camper I was going to purchase. I even called ahead to assure I could leave with it the day of purchase.Low and behold, after spending the entire afternoon waiting on their finance department, (which I did ever so patiently) the told me they didnt have the correct hardware to secure it to my truck. Then wanted to charge me $2,599 for mounting brackets for a slide in camper. They must be HIGH. I left here utterly disappointed.

When we purchased our camper the finance department talked us into the insurance, that if ANYTHING happens just bring it in and it's $50. We did the walk through in the garage bay. Sadly we did not inspect the awning close enough. It's tearing in the corner and parts are coming detached from the reel. We noticed before our first trip out with it. So I emailed/texted them. Took a while to hear back. Amd of course it's not covered. So much for them inspecting before it leaves that they add $1000 plus to the price of them camper. Very disappointed...Was suppose to receive a call last Thursday and here we are 6 days later and no call...

Had my camper there three times for a refrigerator that kept freezing up third time they told me nothing wrong with the refrigerator and charging $150 it is still freezing will never ever go back there again.We had route 66 extended warranty but very incompetent service center ! Would not have minded paying the money if they had fixed the problem. Beware!!..... Nothing but excuses

While traveling from Wisconsin to Macinaw MI our toilet would not flush it was in a 2004 Monaco Diplomat . After Jeffery Weeks actually came out and measured the area and got the model number from our broken unit he found the parts unavailable the model was no longer made and the service manager and Jeff tried to find a model that would be a like fit and found ours was special and the flange would have to be changed to install any toilet that they had in stock. So they fixed us up with a electric hook up we stayed in the parking lot and made arrangements to get us in first thing next morning to have a new flange and toilet installed. For just pulling in off the street we were quite surprised and very pleased at the attention we received. Thanks Jeff Weeks!

Both Nick's, Jeff, Kevin, Mitch and ALL the employees including the receptionist made our purchase a dream come true!!!! They went ABOVE AND BEYOND to make sure everything was good with our trailer, and SAFE for us to pull. I recommend ANYONE thinking of purchasing a trailer to go there. Purchasing a camper has been on our minds for a couple years. We finally decided to go through with it, and could not have picked a better place! Highly recommend our salesman, Mike. Not only was he extremely knowledgeable, but he made the experience fun! Dominic was a great help along the way as well! Sales manager Ken went above and beyond, meeting us on a Sunday evening to ensure we had a proper part so we could go on our first camping trip. Linda in the business office was great to work with. Big thanks to Mitch and Kevin in the service department as well. Overall 10/10 highly recommend.

My salesperson was nice, and the rest of the staff seemed friendly, but turned out to be dishonest. I went here already knowing which camper I wanted to purchase. After the sticker price was increased by over 25% by taxes and fees, I was less excited, but decided that I still wanted the camper. While finalizing the purchase in the store, I was presented with additional services/warrantees that could be added on as a bundle (roadside assistance, extended warranty, gap coverage etc.). I was skeptical of the value of these add-ons, so I asked if I could consider/review them for a day or two before making a decision. When I was told I could not, I asked if I could remove the bundle if I reviewed everything and decided I didn't want it. I asked this question multiple times for clarification and was assured each time that I could easily remove the add-ons. Once I reluctantly agreed to the add-ons, I was asked to step away while the paperwork was prepared, then brought back in to quickly sign a stack of contracts that were placed in front of me. When I brought my paperwork home and reviewed everything more carefully, I realized that the add-ons were absolute not something I wanted. When I called back to remove them, I was told that only a couple of the items added on could be removed, even though I was told all of them could be. I was told that because I signed a contract, there was nothing they could do to help me. I tried for weeks to work out some sort of compromise with the store to make this right, and they refused to help in any way. I was lied to about what was in the contract I was given to sign, and the store had no interest in doing anything to make this right.

I never thought I would be giving camping world a good review till I came in this one. While staying in Gladstone the Microwave went out in our Montana. Since we have the extended warrenty my wife suggested we go see what they say. I figured it was a waste of time but what could it hurt. We live in this thing full time so leaving it someplace for two weeks ain't gonna happen. Alaina was the service person we delt with, she looked up our warrenty and said just bring it to me and I will get you a new one! There are some simple instructions you have to follow for the warrenty and she explained them to me and I went and pulled it and brought it to her. She did what she said she would do and was very pleasant and honest to deal with. About 7 days later she and her buddy were loading it in my truck. I got no excuses, no hastle, just great service! THANK YOU ALAINA!!!!

My wife and I stopped to "just look" at campers. We even told Lucas we were not in the market to buy just yet but wanted to see what is out there. At other dealerships when you tell them you don't plan on buying right now, they tend to ignore you and leave you to explore on your own. But not Lucas he was excellent. He asked us what we were looking for and what our timeframe was. He then took us around and showed us several campers he thought would suit our needs. And as he listened to us comment on the campers he showed us, he would add or delete campers from the list he had to show us. He even showed us different features of the different campers. He was super attentive, but not pushy. A refreshing change from so many salespeople. He was so good we actually thought maybe we should buy it now. But we did decide to wait until spring as we originally planned and Lucas was great about it. So even though we did not actually buy a camper YET, we for sure will be going back to visit Camping World in Escanaba and working with Lucas when we do decide to purchase our camper.

You actually feel like they care when you enter the store, and they’re willing to help with whatever needs you have. 10 out of 10 would recommend camper world of Escanaba for any needs you have related to camping or campers. Nick was an excellent salesman and was very knowledgeable about our camper and any questions I had related to it. Most definitely will be a repeat customer for all our camper and camping needs!

Update: my wife and I made a purchase today on our first travel trailer. The right one just happened to show up. Eli, Dominic, Ken, and all the staff were great to deal with! Zero complaints from my wife and I! Really awesome how all the sales staff worked together to make the experience as efficient and positive as possible. Thanks to all the staff at Camping World for this awesome experience!Haven’t made any purchases from Camping World, but the customer service has been great. Eli has been awesome to work with and answers any questions we have while trying to decide what we are looking for. There has been no pressure as we are trying to determine what we are going to do. Our phone conversations with Irene were great. Our first visit up to look was very good. Everyone was very nice. The day we picked up it could have been more organized. We felt like we kept getting passed off from person to person. We still need to call and let them know one of our electric outlets doesn’t work. Overall good place. Would shop there again. It was a good experience. They even gave us cupcakes! And we do love our new to us Fleetwood A Frame! It’s just beautiful!

Lucas at Camping World of Escanaba was amazing! He was able to find exactly what we were looking for and in our price range. When we set up the camper, we had noticed the fridge wasn't working properly and the outdoor shower was leaking. After a quick call to the store, one of the managers, Ken, came to our campsite and inspected the unit. It was shortly after this that the general manager sent over two service techs to get the issues diagnosed and repaired on-site! Can't thank them enough for the ease of purchase and the customer care after the sale! I'd give 6 stars if I could!

Very disappointed!!!! Bought a new 2021 camper. Had a few issues so we had them fix the problem that was under warranty. 6 months went by and our camper still not fixed. We had an issue with the door not latching. The shop person pounded our door rim and door with an hammer. YES a hammer. They had to replace the frame and the door. The bunkhouse slide out was not going in and out correctly. They tried to fix it and made a bigger problem. One the the dresser drawers was off track. Did not fix it. Somebody pulled a camper out and damaged our caper. 10 feet of our camper. They said they will make it right. NOT!!! Is not fixed right at all.

He also had Ken, the general manager on a call with us prior to purchase just to review things and make sure we were properly informed and happy. The worst service I ever had in my life.Communication is terrible.Lost multiple camping trips due to camper not being repaired in a timely manner and then getting it back with problems not fixed. Same results as when I brought it in.NOT HAPPY WITH CAMPING WORLD AT ALL.
