I’ve been taking my pups to Cory and Nikki at Wolfe for several years. They not only provide exceptional service, but they are also compassionate and gentle with my high anxiety dogs. I’ve had my rescue pom/corgi, and my cavalier both groomed by them.Recently, I’ve been taking my boyfriend’s Aussiedoodle, and they are fantastic with her. They know how to work with her unique hair, and they are flexible to the style we like for her.I’ve had other groomers at their location also groom my dogs, and they’re wonderful too!I highly recommend Wolfe Pet Grooming for your fur babies

First time at Wolfe grooming and I can't believe how great the experience was. Took our way overgrown Australian labradoodle for a cut and she came out exactly as I'd hoped. I showed some photos of the cut I was wanting for our girl but still it was our first time so you never know. I can not belive how soft her coat is- I was worried because she did have some matting. I was hesitant to come here because of the cost but not only was the cut amazing, she seemed to not be stressed at all at pick up. Highly recommend. Here's the before and after

Wolfe has been grooming our goldendoodle for 3 years. He seems to like the place and is never scared to go there. They do a great job on his cut every time. The staff are all very friendly and it's obvious they like animals. Once our groomer was sick and they were able to fit us in later that day with another staff member who stayed late.

We followed our pet groomer Maren to Wolfe because she does such a great job with our toy poodle, not only the cut but he likes her a lot! She is a world class groomer and I highly recommend her! We have only been to Wolfe once but our interactions with the other staff have been very friendly and cordial! It is conveniently located in Dexter and it's only 7-10 mins off the highway, the Zeeb 94 exit. The pricing is a little bit more then the place we came from but so well worth it! They have really good products they used on our dog and he is still soft and smelling good a week later! I definitely recommend Wolfe to anyone that needs to get their dog groomed, we will for sure be going back!!

Wolfe Grooming provides the most awesome combination of kindness and professionalism that I have had the privilege of experiencing. If I could give them 10 stars, I would. :))The cuts/nail trims are very professionally done, and my canine best buddy comes home feeling very pampered/cared for and looking VERY handsome…and clearly knowing how handsome he looks. ;)In addition, the shop has a very well-thought-out business structure, which ensures the groomers are all very knowledgeable, any pre-existing medical conditions of clients are very thoughtfully handled, and great care is given to ensure the health and safety of all clients, as if each client was the pet of the owner or one of the groomers.I simply can’t say enough wonderful things about this very special business and the very special owner and groomers who work there. A special call-out to our own long-time groomer Tracey, but they are all wonderful.

Took my long hair calico in for her first cut and grooming. She’s 12 years old and it takes two of us to clip her nails because she doesn’t like to be handled much. I was blown away when I saw the results. Amazing job done by Cory, I don’t know how you did it. She looks great and we no longer need to check her butt for dingleberries when she jumps up on us.😁I highly recommend this place and especially Cory!

EDIT: they did a great job 3 months ago but now don’t return any calls/messages I’ve left over the last two weeks. Not sure if they are closed?We have a 3-year-old border collie mix who was getting pretty shaggy. He had never been to a groomer before and we were a bit nervous because he can be a bit, um, high energy! However, the staff at Wolfe Pet Grooming Studio were so good with him, and he looks AMAZING now! The cut was perfect, not shaved but actually trimmed to a perfect “border collie” look. All of his tangled fur is gone and he smells great! Watching them handle the dogs, you can tell they are professionals who really know what they’re doing. Thank you, and we will be back!!

We are so appreciative of everyone at Wolfe! Sulley is an anxious dog and has some skin allergies. Everyone always takes exceptional care of him! Corey followed up with us afterwards to check in and make sure he didn’t have too much irritation. They went above and beyond to give him an extra bath the next day to make sure he was comfortable! My Alice has been going to see Corey since she was a little puppy. My goal was to get her familiar with grooming at a young age. Corey picked her up and held her with love. They do a fantastic job and I am always thrilled to pick her up and see their work. It is professional and clean. I like their text alert system when she is ready for pick-up. Finding a groomer you trust when you have a dog who is groomed frequently is stressful but I always feel at ease bringing her to Corey. A small business with wonderful people I am happy to support!

The people working here are so kind and thoughtful. They really take good care of the animals. They once let me come in short notice to fix my dogs nails. They were horrible and they did an excellent job. They are really good at styling too! My puppy came out looking awesome! I didn't even recognize him but in a good way. They are on the more expensive side however its worth it. The amount of time, effort, and care put in shows. I will definitely be recommending them. Thank you to the owner for being so awesome!

My "long" haired dachshund isn't super fluffy and therefore does not go to the groomers very often. I am always worried because she so dramatic about nail trims, let alone the whole complement of things a grooming session can bring. The groomers at Wolfe Pet Grooming Studio were EXTREMELY kind and made me feel secure. Every dog I saw leaving there looked fabulous, and my pup was no exception. The individualized care and quality work were well worth the price tag (I've been changed more by other groomers for not nearly as good of a job). We will be back!

My first time was a good experience. They cut my dog perfectly. The only issue is it's really expensive. The second time I think they forgot to give her the haircut. Her nails were trimmed, and her paws, eyebrows, ear tips, and her belly, but her back, top of her head, half her legs and ears, and beard look untouched. It's been 1 week after and she already needs another haircut.

Chelsea here is a perfect match for our Goldendoodle, Jackson. We had trouble finding a groomer as our dog is picky with people touching his feet/legs. He is fine with us at home but always struggled with groomers. Often we would get a call that he couldn’t be finished at other groomers we tried. That was until we found Wolfe Grooming. Chelsea here has the magic connection with him and he wags his tail and is eager to greet Chelsea on grooming days. Thanks Chelsea for being a friend to our pup and making him look great!

I've had the worst luck finding a groomer for my persian cat who loathes getting groomed. We eventually found Dr. Pete, but he lost his grooming van in a fire... I just felt like we were doomed to never find another groomer. Wolf Grooming did an AMAZING job on Doug. The cut was gorgeous and he wasn't overly stressed. The prices are very reasonable. I highly recommend!

It’s a shame about this place. They seem pretty talented and friendly, but they have a weak spot when it comes to talking about specific services and price. Tried to take my puppy for a simple wash, just to socialize her a bit and get her used to others touching her. Was told I’d be able to order off their a la carte menu after my initial visit which lists $30 individual services such as a sanitary trim or a de-shed shampoo. Asked about price at the time I made the appointment and called a day ahead to inquire about how much money to prepare for the appointment. Both times I was told they couldn’t answer this. When I showed up, they seemed to be taking for granted that I would purchase at least 3-5 hours of their services. They were cagey about cost even after they took my dog back for services. When I called from the parking lot and pressed them on it, they eventually said the wash would be $180, and cited undisclosed handling fees because my puppy “still seemed kind of nervous” to them…..I get the sense that these folks are genuinely talented artists who don’t yet have the confidence to communicate with customers in a straightforward manner about their prices and their value. I’d recommend this place if and only if you are willing to trust the stylists completely to decide the aesthetic and amount of services they provide to your dog, and to pay whatever they decide to charge you without knowing the price ahead of time. If you want to order specific services and be quoted a transparent price, you will be frustrated shopping here 🤷🏻

They did a great job grooming my dog after she had had a cone on her head for 2 weeks! She had a Stent in her ear so there was some dry blood around her face & neck area from her procedure & her shaking her head with the cone on. They were gentle and did a great job getting her all cleaned up! Her coat was so soft & shiny and her nails looked great! Will definitely be returning in the future!

We have taken our rescue Australian Shepherd to Wolfe twice now and had a wonderful experience both times. He is a very anxious dog but does so well with them and comes out looking fabulous. This is the first place we have taken him that I really felt understands how to properly trim a double coated Aussie without just shaving him down and ruining his undercoat.

Took my four year old maltese for the first time. Best grooming job ever! A bit pricey but worth it. I would give five stars but I left two messages and never received a call back. I don't mind leaving a message but please return my phone call. UPDATE: They are looking into their process for returning phone calls. I am going to change to five stars. They do a terrific job and I do recommend. You get what you pay for.

I have nothing but good things to say about Wolfe Grooming. I was looking for someplace that did hand stripping for border terriers and found them online. They did an absolutely fantastic job. I moved to Ann Arbor a few years ago and found Nikki to groom my dog. He loved going to see her and I loved her professionalism and openness to communication. We enjoy our visits and I have always had a positive experience when Duke is groomed. I highly recommend going to Wolfe Pet Grooming! I moved to Toledo and still drive my dog back to visit Nikki.

DON’T GO HERE. We started coming here in 2020 and had great experiences. Although it’s expensive, our dog was well cared for and we felt very comfortable with our experience. We even tipped 20% every time. Our dog is a mini aussie who does not need grooming as frequently and we had been coming every 4-5 months for a bath and very minimal trimming with no issues. Well, I just tried booking an appt (March 2022) for May and was denied an appointment because it will have been longer than 3 months since his last appt (January 2022) and that it is standard policy. As of today, this is not listed anywhere on their website and was never an issue before. This is the first time we’ve heard this and there was no understanding from the business. Very black and white. After speaking with the owner, I was spoken to very rudely and told to take my business elsewhere because my dog can’t come more than 3 months apart. No regard for my schedule or my dogs needs and I’m flabbergasted by the way I’ve been treated after such loyalty for two years. The lack of customer service and care is appalling. I’m just so disappointed because we really did enjoy going here.

This place used to be great. My last experience was terrible. This last time I dropped my dog off at noon and over the last year we have been going here it usually takes about 1.5 to 2.5 hours for my dog to be ready for pickup. After 3.5 hours of not hearing from them (I was told I would get notified 30 minutes before my dog was ready) I tried to contact them. After calling 10 times, leaving a voicemail, and texting I decided to drive there because it was approaching their posted closing hours. After arriving I was told my the owner my dog still had about 30 minutes until he would be done (putting his total hours of being there at 4.5 hours). With no apology from the owner for not answering their phones and for it taking a ridiculous amount of hours to groom my dog, I will not be going back. Unfortunately it seems they are starting to over book their appointments and are drifting away from their customer service that made us fall in love with this place in the first place. I would recommend people think twice about this place (you can get faster service for lower prices at many other places near by).

My dog was the dog at the vet that screamed like they were killing a baby when they tried to clip his nails - even through the muzzle they had to use!I took him to Wolfe and they were so caring and professional, now he trots in wagging his tail and snuggles up to Corey when he's getting his nails trimmed.Highly recommended

I’ve been coming here since they opened, but pricing was never clear. I would be charged $65 or $70 and it was inconsistent. When I went today I was charged $80. When I asked why, I was told that prices had gone up. I found it frustrating that this information was not communicated ahead of time. So if you want to pay $80 for an 11lb pup then this is your place.While their service and cut were great, pricing seems over the top. I’ve had wonderful cuts in the range of $40-$50 but chose this place because it was a little closer to home.

This place is a gem! First impressions are everything to me. My dog and I walked in and everyone there greeted us with a smile and said hello. I told them I had an appt. for a nail trim. A sweet girl came out to get my dog and trimmed his nails while I waited. It was really nice because he could see me during this and I know that helped him. We've had some bad experience with past grooming. Come to find out, I had the wrong day for his appt!! But, they took him regardless. They were so kind and didn't tell us it was the wrong day. So professional and caring!!
