Honestly the store started looking better because they actually hired people. The new manager I think is not inform of the area of the stored. People walk in and will have venues and hoodies. Also the young Lady with glasses and hijab is rude. Always talking about other workers and customers with the male manager with the glasses. Seems like they are besties and the customers come last. The manager did hire more people just wish he would treat customers with some humility. I go to this stored at least once every other day. Still get treated like am bothering them for coming in. Also I will be requesting of the companies rules and guide lines since he seems to make up company rules as the days go by. Glad I see friend new faces. Keep those employees please.

Obviously the store needs a bit of work, but that will get better with continuous improvements with staff. Also the prices are so affordable for Detroit! Awesome place to shop for everything you need!

The Hispanic lady wannabe manager there has the meanest face I have ever seen not friendly at all this was the morning shift. No smiles no hello horrible! The evening shift was coming in as I was leaving great employees. I don't know her name but the white girl there is an excellent cashier. They need to get rid of the unfriendly mutes.

Today was the first time in a about 5 years or so that I went to this location. It was Horrible! The store was disgusting! Isles were a mess, shelves were a mess, very unorganized and only 1 person working. Even the parking lot was disgusting. I won't be going back there again.

Never again will I come here I bought a card the manager said it will work if not she will refund me the money. The card did not work she called the company and they told her the pin was NOT USED so they deactivated the pin and told her to do the refund. She went to do the refund and it wouldn't allow her to. So I got screwed out on $54 and the pin was deactivated so there is nothing I can do with the pin or anything. I'm gonna make sure i get my money and never visit that store again they have the worse customer service

Pretty decent Family Dollar store, though cleanliness could be improved. Great prices, wide variety of merchandise available. I did find a bag of what looked to be cocaine sitting on the shelf by the Pepsi, so that was a bit concerning. Every time you walk in a message plays on the speakers reminding you the place is under surveillance, and they’ve modified the shopping carts by adding high poles to prevent people from leaving the store with the cart 🛒 Definitely a different kind of Family Dollar experience from others, but this is a high “shrinkage” (theft) store, so I’m not surprised.

I have been going to this store for years today was the first time I ever got kicked from any stores. 4:29pm cashier register very disrespectful. Ask us to leave for having mask half down my friend can't hear. I had diapers. When we walked in cashier didn't had her mask on.

It looks like they remodeled. So I guessing they Are not closing down like the all the other family dollars in the area. Lines are getting better. And it's cleaner then other stores. Nicer ppl too

Best time to go is when they first open. They have alot of empty shelves. If you don't go early in the week for the sale items, then you are out of luck. They don't restock.

There is a new cashier named Eric he was very kind store was clean and they was sticking truck usually it's not like that but it's always kind employees here

Store cluttered and messy, don't keep stock up, only one employee friendly and helpful... I was going here just about every day because of the location to my house but now they have opened a new one on Vernor and Mullane about 2 miles away ... And NOW would rather travel the extra miles to go to that location.

decent on some sales items. Socks were 3 times higher than the smaller dollar stores and not a good brand either. Last time i was there, had to take off my hat to come in! Its a dollar store, not a church. If you dont comply with any if their rules the security co. can lock the doors on you, keeping you trapped inside until the police arrive, because you didnt take off your f°°king hat? Also, there are always young people hooked on crack cocain and heroin that WONT work or try to hold down a job, always beging for money. For the most part its just not work. Every Family Dollar store in Southwest Detroit is the same... All bullshit. Want a good dollar store in that area? Go to your Maps and look up Michigan Ave at Martin street!

It looks ramsack like the Walmart in Dearborn. Clearly the owner and management doesn't care what the store looks like. It look like they had a Black Friday sale for 1 hour and everybody just went through and grab a bunch of stuff and left it all over the place

Horrible experiences! Never going back! Everytime I go there is very unpleasant for one reason or another! I hope #manager gets a seminar to help him with his costumer service skills and how to lead his team!

I asked cashier if he could double my bags because he put 2 2liters in a thin cheap bag and he told me me no we are not allowed to foyble bags because we are running low then in top of it you cannot take carts out of store

The problem with this store is the problem with all the stores. You operate in the city so you're proneto a not so friendly crowd of both employees and customers. Its is one of the unfortunate outcomes of this welfare state. The customers are like cannibals, and the employees are responsive to those customers.

The cash register is closed while they take their brake. There is a price on the shelf but a different price at the register. Employees don't help .
