This is one of the few dollar trees that are actually clean and aisles that are free of clutter, but maybe because that’s a newer Store but I’m always doing it when I walk in the door which is important with customer service it’s somewhat small and the others and some of the departments don’t carry a wider range as the other stores but maybe overtime that will change I do like the fact that there more vegetarian friendly options located in the food section. As mentioned and other reviews my. Only gripe is the trashy parking lot. Also be careful when you’re driving north or south on Van Dyke Rd. Turning left or right into the parking lot other than that again I love the dollar tree and all the different craft items green cards and different things you can pick up for your house hold for cheap.

The cashier was very rude.I asked her to put some items into another bag cause she had all of the drinks in one bag knowing its to heavy and I said please .When she was finished I said thank you. She's on her phone telling someone how rude I was. Like I told her there's not a time that I comes in here you're not on your phone. It just seems like she has a problem doing her job.

I had to stop here before work to grab some cleaning rags for my job and due to them not opening on time, it has me running late. Good items but the employees are extremely unprofessional and rude. They never open the store on time and they always close early. They come to unlock the door for employees and give the customers who wait outside NO type of courtesy. They say nothing and act like they don't even see you. I don't understand how 3 employees are in the store BEFORE opening hours and they STILL can't open on time. I waited outside in the cold for 15 minutes. They'll never get my business again. This is why people who live in the city don't like to shop in the city because these employees are rude and, inconsiderate, and and and unreliable.

Abysmal, whatever you need they probably don't have it and if they do it's in a pile of other merchandise. It's really a shame that they even open the door.

This place is horrible. Corporate needs to make surprise visits often. The shelves are always empty because the lazy workers don't unpack the boxes. You can't walk in the store without walking around a lot of boxes. They never have what your looking for, probably because it’s in boxes. Someone needs to fire the managers and assistant managers and start all over. I'm shocked this store is still open. The city I live in would never allow a store to look that way or allow it to be ran in that way. When I visit Detroit this definitely will not be a store I visit ever again.

I love this Dollar Tree!! Always clean, always has what I came there for. The only thing I would say needs some work is the parking lot. It's way too small for that store. Customers have no choice but to park extremely close to each other so you do run the risk of someone hitting ur car with their door or something like that. Other than that I love this place & come here several times a week.

This was one of the most understocked Dollar Trees I've ever been to. I mean, the store was literally empty. There were bare shelves all over the place. There was only one line open, and I didn't see another employee around. I had to dig in a box to get some of my items. I only stopped in because it was the closest one to me at the time. It's nothing like other Dollar Tree stores. I definitely won't be back.

I went in there to buy some items. The young lady greeted me upon arrival and was very courteous towards myself and the other customers as well. Most importantly, she was patient with my children and helpful.Selection is okay but very neat as well.

The regular employees were ok, but the security gaurd yelling that the store was closing in whatever minutes and announced the seconds. She was slovenly and rude. If you don't want to work please stay home.

Horrible cashier. Organization of store contents not good. No push baskets to use which makes shopping difficult if I gotta carry around a hand basket. Then the cashier tells me it not his job to remove my items from the hand basket. Never been told that anywhere but here. Parking lot is too small and set up where you are parking way too close to other vehicles. I will not be returning.

Cashier was working hard to keep the line down. Lady came with bottles to deposit and did not have enough so i gave her the change. But she was very proper, holding her composure with the customer. One thing she said is customers think its the cashier moving slow but, if the customers have there money ready, it moves alot faster. Great job cashier. Dont let no one through you off. Hard work pays off.

My shopping experience was HORRIBLE. The parking lot and inside of store are NASTY. Trash was everywhere, trash can was over flowing , front windows have been boarded up for weeks. The inside of the store is a mess. Boxes all in

I made a huge mistake visiting this Dollar tree on Van Dyke where jakeisha was the cashier. I normally visit the 8 Mile and schoenherr location rave reviews they're always cleaning always nice always friendly this young lady was my cashier stayed on the phone a personal call the entire time on the company phone and on FaceTime on her other phone never gave me eye contact never say anything except giving me my total she was absolutely the epitome of terrible customer service

This is the best one I've been to in the tri-county area. They actually care about the store. They have a large selection of items, including, to my surprise, healthy options. Their customer service was excellent. I will definitely be back.

The Dollar Tree at Belmont shopping Center has changed for the worst. Theirshelves are stocked low, or some are empty. That's since the manager has transferred to 12 mi. store. They need to bring him back. There is less people shopping there now! .
