City Bird is an adorable place to shop local for Detroit inspired & made gifts. There’s a nice variety of Detroit shirts and sweatshirts. I bought a sweatshirt and I’m absolutely impressed by how soft and comfy it is. (I might come back for another!) I also got a few jewelry pieces at a good price!

Run/managed by lovely people. People who are helpful and friendly.They have really good quality items/articles in their shop. Found some meaningful fridge magnets that connect the Detroit/Michigan community.Loved the designs. Loved the quality. Appropriately priced. Definitely recommended for someone who collects souvenirs.

I wanted to find a souvenir shop and this was listed as a gift shop. This was exactly what I wanted I was able to find gifts for over 16 people easily. I appreciated the price range. The location and staff were even a nice experience.

I was in town for family and wanted to gift my Houston coworkers uniquely Detroit gifts. This was the perfect place to come! They have such a great selection of items to choose from and at such fair prices. I went to a few other stores (Detroit themed shops) and none of them compared. If you are in the market for Detroit or Michigan themed gifts or apparel, stop in! It will definitely be worth your time and $$!

Cute little shop with all kinds of Michigan artisanal products. Right in the heart of the Cass corridor. So much to do in this little neighborhood. Definitely worth an afternoon visit. Great gifts, something for everyone.

Today I stopped by and waited for them to open, but they did not open the doors until 15 minutes after the listed opening time. There were several customers (including myself) visibly waiting outside in the rain, and when the worker finally came outside she was not apologetic at all and acted like nothing happened. The entire experience was so unprofessional, having your customers standing outside (in bad weather nonetheless) and then not even offering a single word towards them?Edit: Forgot to mention that I also called the store while waiting outside. No answer.

I have a thing about getting magnets everywhere I visit and so I just had to stop into City Bird. Little did I know, it’s situated in a charming shopping area with a brewery, another gift shop, an amazing chocolatier, and lots more to explore. I bought a few things and loved the wide assortment of Michigan gifts, candles, pins, mugs, etc. Thank you for my Beyoncé and Britney magnets. 😍

Came across this cute shop with my family, and I can safely say it’s worth going in to! There’s a wide selection of Detroit-themed souvenirs, artwork, etc. that is good quality and visually aesthetic. Would definitely recommend!

This place is the best. If you need a card or small gift - especially Detroit themed, this is your go to. I personally love supporting this small business because the owners are amazing humans. When I was opening my own shop in the city 4 years ago - they immediately reached out to introduce themselves and welcome me. That kind of support and dedication to maintaining the type of community spirit Detroit has is so inspiring. This is definitely a small business worth supporting.

City Bird is awesome! I always love supporting small & local Detroit businesses, but City Bird has amazing products & incredible customer service, as well! I recently ordered a few items online to ship as a gift; City Bird contacted me via email just a few hours after I placed my order to let me know one of scents of an item was out of stock & would I like an alternate scent or a refund. I chose an alternate scent and then City Bird shipped my gift the same day as I ordered it! Thank you, City Bird!

Such a great, local shop for Detroit / Michigan gifts. They have so many cute gift options. LOTS of greeting cards! Anyone can find something in their price range. Some items are more expensive (handmade, etc.) but it’s so worth supporting local businesses and artists. I bought gifts for my Detroit visitors and couldn’t help but buy myself a few items. :) I can’t wait to go back!

I love City bird products! This holiday season I was looking for places to buy unique gifts for my family and once I started following them on social media I found more than enough ideas! My hosts recommend this place for picking up Detroit swag and I am so glad I went. There’s so many great little shops on this block but City Bird was the tops. Unique, cute, quaint, bawdy and badass all at the same time. I loaded up and staggered out with T’s, cards, scarves, etc.

Great little store for finding gifts for people who love Michigan. They also have a great selection of unique gift cards. The store does get packed though, so I recommend visiting on a Sunday when parking is free and the weather is nice outside.

Detroit pride in spades! I have a long-time love affair with this store. It goes back to the days when they first started sales on Etsy, and I was getting my fix on Detroit gear after transplanting out of state. It's been a joy to see their collection blossom over the years and at this point the shop is basically overflowing with cool Michigan and Detroit themed products. Keep up the great work y'all!

Cool store, incredible staff member! A colleague and I bought gifts for 10-15 people in our office and the gal at the store (wish I would've caught her name - knit Carhartt cap, tattoos) was AMAZING! I cannot express how happy I am as a customer of this store!! I purchased a few items for curbside pickup for a secret santa present for a coworker and wasn't sure logistically if everything was set up correctly so my coworker could pick it up since it was under my name. I called the store and spoke to the nicest employee (I feel bad I did not get a name but you were wonderful!) and she listened to my predicament and was able to quickly adjust the gift to be in my coworker's name and she even blocked out all the prices for me and any reference to my name to keep the gift secret! The items were beautiful as well and I even purchased some extras for myself :) They made a lifetime customer from that one interaction!! Thank you City Bird!
