Family fare in Coopersville is not a good place to work. Everyone talks about each other. The store itself is clean. The produce and meat are not good though. You can't trust anyone that works there.

Although I live in Coopersville, we would rather shop at this location. The produce is better and there's a bigger selection of most items. So you have more options to choose from for certain products and brands. For instance, pizza's, ice cream, frozen dinners and veggies. Most of the time the dates are better too. The entire store has a bigger layout with more checkout lanes and self checkouts as well. Other perks include bigger bottle return room with faster more modern machines and a gas station right in the parking lot to redeem your Family Fare gas coupons. You can also do online orders to pick up in store. In my opinion, I feel this is a great store to do your shopping at. The downside of shopping at FF is it's prices are definitely higher when compared to Meijer, Aldi or other discount markets.

This is my grocery store. I love their brand of food. I will forever come here. Plus, the customer service is top-notch.

Family Fare, a store like D&,W, has good meats. They do tend to be a little more expensive but it's worth it

The fried Hickenlooper is fire! Anytime I have to travel to Coopersville I make sure I go there and get the chicken at the deli!

It's bad enough that food prices are as painful as they are. When you add the variables of being the ONLY game in town and the current quality of those at least showing up for work. They could be selling babies out back and people still have to shop here. I feel like these circumstances leave all who work here with less incentive to actually work it is however a possibility my standards and expectations may be a bit high. Though I have never been accused of being an over achiever.

Not friendly and at the time I worked for a spartan backed store. Customers need to be priority to them.

Fresh delicious donuts. Would not do my weekly shopping here though without clipping yes rewards coupons and checking the weekly ad for deals. Groceries are a higher priced than the bigger chain stores

Employees were nice & helpful. However, they are more expensive than my usual grocery store. I could've gotten the same things at Walmart & probably would pay about $20-30 less. They were convenient at the time. I would've given 5★ if the process were lower.

Merchandising needs some help, who drinks coffee with thier seafood and a display with chocolate chips, potatoes and ice cream... it's like oh hey there is some room over there let's put something random there.

Fair prices with YES card. Wednesday is Senior Day with 5% off. Just avoid the 5pm rush and checkout is usually quick. Coupons tailored for you come in the mail. Bottle return is not very good. I live nearby and it is closer and less crowded than Meijer.

Cashier's on night shift seem to be friendlier than the ones working during day hours. But the selections there are good. Variety of items in a local setting so you can expect a slightly higher price for the convenience of not having you drive further to get it cheaper.

Well I normally have a great experience there friendly service helpful workers but if you are trying to get propane it's like playing Russian roulette 1 specific person won't even try where as everyone else has been very accommodating I have dealt with this person twice and have been refused twice where as every other time the rest of the staff has taken care of me and I frequently exchange tanks

Want to pop-in quick for something? Naw, you’ll be stuck in line for 15min. Because there’s one register open, and the old hag wants a pack of smokes and some scratchers with the stoffers lasagna.Want to return some cans? Naw, the machines reject everything, even the stuff you buy at their store. And they’re all occupied by slowest people in the world, which you will soon be stuck behind at the register.Want some liquor? Naw, gonna have to go next door.Want fair prices? Naw, might as well be Kroeger or Safeway mark ups.Want fresh fruit and vegetables? Too bad, lots of stuff on the shelves and it’s already half rotten.Want modern refreshed convenience at the only grocery store within 8 miles? Better keep going

They are a nice family grocery store.I would like to say the stock the shelf thing is horrible. I literally drive to the Family Fare in Allendale cause the stocking in the Coopersville Family Fare needs lots of improvements.Customer service gets a 5.

Expensive as hell. And i think they believe that because they are the only true grocer in coopersville that they can raise prices. Go to Allendale location and process are lower. Save yourself the money and go to Meijer. May be about a 7 mile drive, but it's worth it in the end.

To small of a store for how many people shop at once there. And they are a little bit pricey compared to other options. But they have friendly staff

If you've been to one Family Fare, you've kid of been to them all. You expect a slightly limited variety, for a higher cost but the convenience of it not being Walmart or a big chain. My main complaints of this location is the lack of sale prices actually ringing up. My last trip was $14 cheaper after the cashier fixed the items. The store is very clean. The staff is absolutely the shining point, they're very friendly. The produce is hit and miss. They have balloons by variety of color at customer service, which is great to have locally.

The service has gone down hill dramatically, it used to be a nice neighborhood store, but the customer service is severely lacking. And the staffing levels are terrible, even by today's standards, they can never seem to have more than one register open.

Ihave lived in this town my entire life, and the only store in town has gone downhill non stop. So sad! It's managed very poorly and nobody seems to care. All the employees are super nice except a girl in the deli was terribly rude to me, and even left the deli with me standing there. Manager said I apparently did something to upset her... WHAAAT!!?? I asked for ham. My bad. I won't spend my money here anymore. There's other places I will go now

This was the first time I had ever been in a Family Fare store. The store was very clean and easy to get around the isles. It had handicapped parking spaces. The staff was kinda friendly. Some prices were great and some were a little high. The overall experience was good and I will stop into a Family Fare again in the future.

Went early in the morning to get some things for my wife. Had not been there before and like an idiot I am standing there with the list in my hand looking kind of lost. Then I hear a voice behind me, "can I help you find something". Wow! Thanks. " Yep tapioca pudding mix and mini marshmallows.". Hey I was out of there fast. That's customer service.

Friendly staff, well-maintained and presentable area's, and a decent selection of good's for a smaller sized Family Fare.I deducted 1 star due to the wait time in line. There are about 4–5 employee-operated registers and no self-checkout registers; there was only one employee checking out customer's and that employee seemed to be doing as much as they could.Overall a good local supermarket in a relatively small town.

It's a small store, but then it's in a small town. It had most of my recipe's ingredients, although their delivery truck didn't arrive with meat so they were out of chicken. Luckily the frozen kind worked just fine. The store is clean, shelves we'll stocked, variety is pretty good and prices are on par with other local Family Fares. The cashier wasn't very friendly, but not rude either. Maybe just tired. It wasn't a big deal and certainly won't keep me from going back.
