We purchased a summer log cabin that we are now making into a four season retirement home. We have completely redone the entire inside from flooring, ceilings, walls and windows. We added the tongue and groove ceilings, pine floors. base and crown moldings. We purchased all from The Woodworkers shoppe pre-finished. We are very happy with the service provided and the quality of the wood we received. Now we are starting the exterior where an prior addition was done with siding and the new addition. I'll keep you posted.

We just finished remodeling a 1960s A-frame cabin, using pre-finished pine siding on the two end walls, and covering all beams with pine siding. The pine we ordered and received from The Woodworkers Shoppe was beautiful! In fact, there were ZERO flaws in any of the three orders. That was unbelievable-- particularly when in most cases, one needs to "pick through" boards at the big box stores. It was shipped securely and we received all orders in a timely manner, and the customer service was outstanding. David and Timber were exceptionally helpful as we tackled this as a DIY. The finished remodel is gorgeous, and we have The Woodworkers Shoppe in large part to thank for that. And...the price was right too! What a terrific business, with excellence at every turn!

Absolutely amazing products!! We are using the pre-finished pine t&g paneling, flooring, 8" rough hewn half logs, and assorted trims. The end-matched t&g means very, very little waste, and super easy install! This is very much DIY with basic skills and standard tools. We can't wait until our project is complete. The prices were excellent, Customer Service superb. Highly recommended!

We just received our shipment of log railings and posts from The Woodworkers Shoppe. They were needed to replace existing rails on our 35 year old log home porch.Everything about the experience with them, which has really been their Rep named Timber (yes his name!), from my first email after finding them on-line has been PHENOMENAL.I sent the same email to a total of four companies who offered log railings online. Timber called immediately with questions and walked me through additional measurements he needed. His expertise and follow up were INCREDIBLE!!! The kind you rarely get from companies anymore.The quality of the Logs themselves and the Craftsmanship was Top Notch. We purchased several lumber products from the Woodworkers Shoppe for our cabin rental in northern WI and we are very happy with all of them.The pre-finished blue stain (beetle kill) knotty pine looks absolutely gorgeous in our living room and entry ways! We decided to go with a white pine to better match our floors and we are very happy with that decision. The clear coat finish was perfect, the boards 100% straight, and the top/end matching was superb. I would be surprised if there was a better product on the market if you are looking for beetle kill/blue stain pine paneling.Accent walls in our bar and guest room utilized the 2x8 hewned red pine 1/4 logs with a Sikkens butternut finish, along with matching 6x6 log posts. This product was also top/end (t&g) matched and was installed fairly easily by 1 person.The final product we used on this project was the 1x6 barnwood paneling, top/end matched, with a weathered gray finish. To provide a more rustic look, we had the factory apply the finish (paint) on the backside of the wood so the tongue and groove joints would not be visible. The finished product looks more like "shiplap" on the accent wall and wainscoting in our guest bedroom.I would definitely recommend working with the Woodworkers Shoppe / Log Home Shoppe. They have great products, ship nationwide, and seem like good folks too! My sales rep Timber was very knowledgeable, friendly, and got our order 100% correct. Delivery to our jobsite was flawless as well with no damage. Pricing is very competitive and I can't state enough how great the quality of the products are, especially the pre-finished pine!We did run into some some extended lead times in receiving our lumber in the summer of 2022, which led to a delay in our opening. The company was very upfront about potential delays, however, there were times when it took a few days to get updates from them on production & delivery status. This makes it very challenging when scheduling crews and equipment in rural areas. My only feedback is to improve the communication a bit and get a little more proactive with updates to your customers.

We first looked at eastern cedar, it was almost paper white and with no character. Woodworkers Shoppe supplied Northern Michigan cedar that was the look and character that I was seeking, pre finished. The pattern is something that I came up with on my own. Perhaps not unique, but conveys a sense of ownership. The ceiling is in a sub deck screened in 16 ft octagon. The ordering and sample process was made very easy and pleasant.

This shoppe is AMAZING!!! So many beautiful things that are hand made to purchase and we bought red pine tongue and groove for my son’s home and they delivered it and it was wrapped with such care and the service was great and the employees are so nice and knowledgeable too!!! I have purchased ten doors from the Woodworkers Shoppe over the last 2 years for our home. This includes hinged doors, bifold closet doors and a pocket door. These doors are attractive, sturdy and very well made. My contractor is extremely fussy and he is very impressed with these doors. Even the shipping crate is superior. Highly recommended. Pictures are before finish trim was installed. Stain was Minwax Polyshades One Step Satin, color was pecan.

Best price and product found nation-wide. Can't find knotty alder trim to match all my doors and cabinentry. Staining this knotty red pine after using ebony over all knots will look sensational when finished. I am very OCD and extreamly detail oriented. Gladly so is Timber.

We purchased the pre-finished end matched blue pine paneling, and are very happy with it! After a year, it still looks amazing and fits well, which means it was properly dried. Installation was very easy with the end matched boards. There's no need to splice on a rafter or beam, just start with a board then cut one to finish the row. Then use the left over piece as another starter.

Unbelievable! I just finished my first of two bedrooms. 14' x 10' x 8'. Looks phenomenal and installs so easy. But look at the pic of scrap! I put a roll of duct tape on it for reference. An entire room of paneling and barely a shovel full of waste! In fact, that pile includes the cut outs from 6 outlets and 1 double switch. The one pic of a piece in my hand is literally the only defect I had to cut around in the entire room (and I found a place to use it anyway). Absolutely outstanding product.

The Woodworkers Shoppe has excellent products at a great value too! We ordered the end matched tongue & groove knotty pine paneling and a variety of trims for an upstairs area above our garage a few years ago. It was so easy for my husband and I to install ourselves. We get many compliments on how beautiful it is too. The prefinished clear coat is the way to go. The finish looks great and all you have to do is install it. Even the cutting is minimal due to the boards containing end matching grooves.Their representatives are very knowledgeable about the products and very helpful too.I highly recommend the Woodworker's Shoppe!

First off, with those business hours how is an average working person supposed to visit this business? You've got a tiny window on the weekend.Answer. they don't care.My wife and I took off work one morning to come in and get advice on weather protection for some cedar lap siding we are putting up. My parent's have gone here for years, and despite the terrible business hours, we wanted to support a local business.The man who helped us seemed like he absolutely couldn't be bothered. he was very short with us when we asked questions. He took us to a display in the corner, told us this is the only option and left. After we selected some color options. He went and got us samples, laughed at us about our project, and then couldn't even provide a solid estimate on the amount we'd need to buy in order to cover the area we had nor did he provide any price estimates for a 5 gallon order.I came prepared with our materials and exact measurements and he took one look at us and thought, "Not worth my time."Awful experience. Overpriced to boot. Will never go back.
