I believe others should know of my negative experience before giving these people money...I December 23rd i drove 45 miles one way to put a money down on a new Yamaha MT-09 SP, a limited edition bike that i've since learned the entire country is only getting 100 of. I talked to Spencer, who told me i was the first to enquire about that bike and he'd take my name and number down and since i was the first person that bike was as good as mine. He's call me when it came in or he got any info on it. I want to stress i said i want it 100% and he said they weren't taking deposits but if that changed he'd call me. I offered 2 times to put money down to secure it and he said there was no need, my name and number was all he needed.He called me the a few days later offering me a discount on the old model they had on the showroom floor but i declined and said i'd wait on the new one.Fast forward to april, i thought i'd run down there and see if they had heard anything on my new bike. Spencer tells me the first bike they have coming in is spoken for and i think he's talking about me and just doesn't remember me until he tells me that guy has a deposit so he has the first bike secured. Now i'm irritated but he says there is another one coming and says i can put money down on that one. Ok, so before i lose my cool (because these guys have my whole riding season in their hands) i give them a $500 deposit and think ok, maybe i'll still get one but a month later or so...The next week they call and leave a message, i call back and some other guy says yeah they are only getting the one bike now. I say ok, now i have a problem, how could this happen, lay my story out and they guy says "well, it not a perfect system so unfortunately this other guy has money on it so it's his bike."I'm livid at this point and either i get my money back or i let them keep it until this other guy who they sold my bike too possibly declines it. I took a week to cool down then called them and spencer answered this time. I'm like hey, what happened with this bike, hoping for at least a explanation or an apology but then tells me that he didn't sell the bike out from under me and that I DECLINED TO LEAVE A DEPOSIT ON THE BIKE.NO, that is ABSOLUTELY NOT WHAT HAPPENED. I told him i had text messages of me telling friends a week after i went down there that I had that first bike promised to me. I offered TWICE to give him money, i had $500 cash on me when i went down there the first time and for 4 months i've been thinking i'm getting the first SP in the area but no, somehow they didn't bother to look or lost my info or, but they won't own up to it and now it's virtually guaranteed I can't buy that bike and i have one guy to thank for it. He basically called me a liar and tried to make this my fault. I want EVERYONE to know what kind of person he is before buying anything from him. Thanks for ruining an entire year of riding pal, I owe ya one.

If I could I would put no stars at all took in my Honda to get fixed and they fixed one thing but they messed my reverse we told them the situation before we left there lot they left inside without a explanation I gave them the benefit of the doubt and I took my Yamaha to get diagnosed it would not turn on they called me to say it was ready I get there and it won’t turn on they said it needed a new battery why didn’t they fix that before and It was leaking gas it was not leaking before I asked why and they said that they did not check that I just picked it up and I’m never ever taking my stuff there DO NOT TAKE YOUR STUFF THERE THEY ACT LIKE THEY ARE BETTER THEN US AND THEY LEAVE INSIDE WITHOUT GIVING U A EXPLANATION. THEY WILL NOT LET YOU SEE YOUR STUFF UNTIL YOU PAY HOW CONVENIENT FOR THEM

My husband went a year ago angled naught a mo ped and then we go today to get a mother cycle and they was so rude and disrespectful tell us one thing on phone then another when we get their . They act like are money is to good for them and act as if their better then anyone . Definitely do not recommend this this two years in a row horrible customer service .

My entire experience at Platinum Powersports was excellent. Between Tony and Kasey they gave me a nice deal on a Godfrey Sweetwater pontoon. In fact all the supporting staff were friendly and professional. Their showroom has a great selection of pontoons and all kinds of power sports fun.

This summer I purchased a 2022 Yamaha YXZ XT-R from Platinum Powersports in Coloma. The hard to find YXZ had just arrived and the pricing was better than what was available in the Detroit area. My sales associate Brock Bittner and finance specialist Pati made the whole sales transaction extremely smooth and the YXZ was in my garage within days of initial contact. I would highly recommend making the trip to Coloma for excellent pricing and service.

Bought my first bike here. Everything went extremely smoothly. Kasey was my salesman and was very knowledgeable. Gave me a detailed walk through of everything on the bike. My 11 year old son is looking for a 110 and we left with more knowledge than we did walking in. It was our first year storing our waverunner with PS. When we put in the water a couple weeks ago, the fob to lock it was lost. With a little coaxing they took accountability for it and got us a new one. We were very pleased that they provided the excellent service and prevented what could have been an unpleasant experience. I purchased a SSR utility side by side. Paid cash for it. The sales person was very helpful. I got it delivered and at the time it had 1.5 hours.. I had it for 7 days and put 2 hours on it and it just stopped running. I called sales person he had the repair department come and pick it up. After 2 weeks I had to call them to see what was going on with it. The repair manager said it had several parts loose and needed to be tightened. Said he could have it delivered the next day which was Saturday. I said that would work. He ten said how would you like to pay for it. I said I had it 1 week and only 4.5 hours on it. He said they put 2 hours labor, (about $250 and there would be another $250 for delivery). I said really, I said what about the warranty. He said I will have to call and get back to you. Again after a week of not hearing anything back I called again left message and never heard back. I then called my sales person who said I'll have them call you. They finally called me back. The manager said the warranty was only for parts and since they didn't replace anything they don't cover it. He said but I will take 1 hour off the labor, and only charge you for half of the delivery charges. With that he said how would like to pay the $240 charge, before we deliver it. I am sorry but when you almost pay $8000 for something that stop running after 1.5 hours I think that is a rip off. I would never recommend anyone buy anything from this business. I would like to say the salesperson was very good and always followed up to bad the manager of the repair department was better at customer service.

Very cool!!!! It's quiet, but I like quiet places! I bought a 50 cc Wolf Lucky moped from there, but even if you don't want to buy anything, I still recommend going! The employees are nice and the process from looking, choosing, paperwork, getting my scooter ready, and driving her off the property only look an hour and a half, if that! They're speedy and it's a nice place to be. The boats are really cool too. You can climb in them and look around. Very nice

Had my best motorcycle buying experience to date with these folks and super happy they were local as well. Purchased a 2020 Suzuki Katana. I interacted and closed the sale with the owner (name slips me). However, he gave me undivided attention upon entering the dealership, remained attentive and engaged through the entire process and was a consummate professional and very pleasant to work with. Highly recommend these guys

I have waited for over six months for a seat for my Yamaha jet ski. I bought this vehicle brand-new and the seat was completely destroyed in shipping. We took delivery of this with a promise and that promise has been broken multiple times over six months. This dealership does not care about customer service at all. Many promises to reach out to the rep, the manufacture, and the and the owner, Have always been untrue. They tell you what you want to hear on the phone with no follow through. There are many places to purchase Yamaha and outdoor equipment I would certainly recommend not shopping here.🤷🏼‍♂️🤬
