We bought our first camper and our sales rep was great at listening to us about what we wanted. He wasn’t pushy at all. Jeff explained how everything worked on the camper. His explanation was a great help. Jeff in finance did a good job of explaining the finances and various options. Mike in the retail area did a great job explaining different accessories like back up camera, bump out awning, sewer kits, etc. Overall great experience.

Incredible experience.Ceia and Bill in sales were great.JR was a big part in the great deal. Jeff was helpful in choosing the right package to go with. Steven and Todd were super knowledgeable and helpful with the walkthrough. Alex helped us with the final necessities we needed to get ready for our first trip. I highly recommend this great team.

I'm a contractor so I'm on the road a lot and I was getting tired of hotels so I wanted something that was mine. The whole process was smooth as butter. Ceia and Matt knew everything and went out of their way to help me decide on what I was looking for and where both very conscious of my price range. When I decided on a used amerilite and it was time for the walk through Steve and Mike where able to get me through it quick while still making sure I knew everything I needed to know. Jeff and Carolyn made the whole financing process really easy too. The whole process was simple and straightforward and everyone was very helpful especially since it's my first camper.

We finalized the purchase of our first RV! They walked us through on how to use it, inside and out. They told us to video so we can go back to remember how to do things. Also you can YouTube things as well. We are excited when it will be arriving soon. They never beat around the bush about anything, unlike Perrysburg. We are now RV home owners!

My husband and I just bought our first camper and are very pleased with the service provided by Camping World. Our new unit has all of our "must-haves" at a price less than the cost of a used unit with fewer features. Everyone at Camping World did their part to make sure we were satisfied with the purchase. If we ever decide to upgrade, we will definitely go back to Camping World.I'm giving a special "shout-out" to Ceia Murphy (salesperson), Bill (sales manager), Matt Lecki (general manager), Jeff (finance manager), Mike (who did our parts walk through) and Steve (in the service department) for their assistance.

The moment we walked into this facility, we were greeted with a lovely young lady who took care of our need of talking with a salesman named Tim. Tim took his time with showing us what we were looking for. He was not pushy or overly suggestive. He clearly showed us what we liked and we ended up buying a Keystone Hideout that day! It is wonderful to see that Tim is top sales. He definitely deserves it.

After I picked out a camper with Tim, I went to finance, I had a fun experience with Bill the finance manager he did a great job and we actually had some good laughs. Dennis again who went over the entire setup with me, sold me on some must haves, and got me on the road was awesome. The parts department was great they got me road worthy of pulling the new camper down the road! I know Dennis just works in the back but he was knowledgeable and super fun to work with and made my first time buying experience memorable. Will be back!!!

Camping World, Ann Arbor has proven to us to be the top dealership we have dealt with over all the years we have been RVing.We began doing business with this RV dealership in 2016 long before it was taken over by Camping World in February 2022. The take-over of this dealership by Camping World concerned us since we had never dealt with Camping World before this time. However, a pleasant surprise for us was to learn some of the top-notch people working at the dealership before the Camping World acquisition stayed on board. "GOOD"We had dealt with David Robertson (Fixed Operations Director) for 7 years and enjoyed his courtesy, professionalism and the way he treats you not only as an important customer but as a friend.Two other great people that stayed on were Matthew Lecki and Steve Post.This dealership operates like a well-oiled machine from the top down.Matthew Lecki (General Manager) makes you feel welcome and makes certain you know he is right there for you if you need him.Steven Post (Operations Manager) Pays much attention to detail and will take the time to explain the necessary repairs if required.Brian Gulliver (Customer Service Agent) will also spend time making sure he understands the nature of a problem or issue and then makes certain things are properly written up and communicated to the repair staff.James Bellottie (Service Technician) is a gifted professional and a personable person with an amazing "can do" attitude.We recently purchased a new coach that arrived at this dealership from the manufacturer with many, many issues. We were shocked a brand-new coach could be sent to a dealership in the condition this one was in.Camping World, Ann Arbor stepped up and began working on our long list of problems. I had a wonderful experience the minute I walked in the door. Sadly I have an RV but certainly planning on purchasing my next RV at the Chelsea location. I had a chance to speak with Ceia and her brother Matt, I came in to get stuff from their amazing store to get some stuff for this Camping Season and I came in on a very busy day, the parts staff were all occupied with other guest, Ceia and Matt Murphy approached me to ensure I was getting help, we struck up a conversation while I waited for a parts specialist to assist me. They are both in sales and I was shocked that they did not push me into purchasing another RV, we talked about what I had and they answered questions as to how I could protect my investment. I wanted a Montana but ended up buying another brand as it was a previous year model and I change my mind quite often so went with the discounted deal. I will be back and get the Montana fifth wheel I want and will be buying it from Ceia or Matt. I loved their energy, never thought I would have such a fun experience and feel so welcomed buying accessories and parts. They got me with a nice and knowledgeable parts specialist named Mike who helped me find everything I needed. I will continue to bring my business to the Chelsea Camping World and buy my next RV from this location as well. I was informed that Matt Murphy just started and came from the car business, smart move on hiring him, he was not what I call a typical sales person, he was funny and I truly enjoyed speaking with him. Ceia I found out is Matt’s sister and I thought how cool is this, their dynamic was incredible. I had a few issues on my fifth wheel I purchased with leaking, Ceia gave me some pointers and I got to my site and did what she suggested and it worked! They did not need to take their time to assist me or converse for that matter (asking if I wanted something to drink etc.) but they did. That is customer service! Everyone was smiling, this experience convinced me, this is where I am bringing my business to (definitely asking for Ceia or Matt)! I highly recommend if you are in the market to go see Matt or Ceia at Camping World of Chelsea!! They will take care of you! Thank you Ceia for the pointer on stopping my slow leak, and thank you to both Matt and Ceia Murphy for making my day a good one. I own my business and these 2 are the kind I would hire!!! FYI, you can find EVERYTHING you would possibly need at their parts and accessories store! Will be back to find the Montana front living and purchase it from this location!!

Brian in the Service dept., he was tremendously helpful! While a new antenna was being installed on our class C motorhome he gave us a ride to the Chelsea hospital ER. He even came and picked us up at the ER when we were done!! He was more than kind, pleasant, and understanding! Would recommend this Camping World to everyone! Mike in parts dept. was helpful also in finding us the exact antenna that needed replaced! Thank you! You're the best!!!!!

I wasn’t sure I wanted to purchase a used RV from a dealer but we gave Camping World a try. Our salesman, Don Thibodeau, was wonderful! He showed us numerous RV’s and explained the pros and cons of each. He also found one with a high inside roof to accommodate my 6’-5” height. We negotiated a price and when it came time to close the financing, we were pleased to find that Don and Camping World were true to their word as we received everything that was promised and more. During our RV walk through, we found a couple previously unnoticed items that needed attention (broken heating vent, broken shower handle strap) and the items were fixed immediately. Everyone made sure to familiarize us with every aspect of the RV and hitch system and they also provided a complimentary Good Sam membership! I highly recommend Camping World in Chelsea, MI.

I had the absolute best experience at camping world in Chelsea Michigan. My salesperson Mike was beyond amazing. He works so hard to get me my camper and did not stop until I had it. From start to finish it was literally in my driveway within less than a week. He was amazing to work with and explained everything in detail and kept in contact with me the entire time. He treated my daughters very special when they came into the store with me and all in all he was just so good to work with. It didn't stop there when I came to pick up my camper Tony did an amazing walkthrough and showed me exactly how everything works where everything is located and every little detail down to the nooks and crannies. Once I made my way into the financing office Nate continued with the excellent service and made sure that every single thing was explained to me in detail and got me the best possible deal. I would highly recommend working with this company and especially with the location in Chelsea as they are extremely diligent and caring and work so hard to give you the best experience possible.

Made an appointment and visited to look over some pop up campers. We were very nicely greeted and our information gathered. Very nice store inside with a good selection. The salesperson was very helpful to begin with and made sure the ones we wanted to look at were set up. First off a couple of the pop ups we looked at were in rough shape, dents everywhere inside, tears, stains on the vinyl and one the interior cabinet wasn't even attached. If you want to sell those units then fix them up first. We drove to their second lot and found one we liked and asked about adding AC to it. We were never asked what our payment range was, we were going off what was advertised on the website as a estimate of a payment. The salesman came to us with a estimated payment for the pop up with AC added and it was way over our budget. He scoffed at us and pretty much made us feel like we wasted his time. Didn't even try to see if we wanted to work out a payment on another one we saw, he just walked away. We were hesitant to visit a dealer to find a pop up but thought it would be the easiest to get financing, but apparently not. We won't be back.

I've called multiple times and the only thing the only one that seems to care about customer service is Bill the sales manager. Talked to Alexia, who initially said she was in sales, got all my info, what I wanted and took about 10-15 minutes discussing this. Then says, Ok, I'll set you up with a sales person. The sales person eventually calls and pretty much is only concerned about me filling out a credit app. I decide to do some research and narrow down the models I'm interested in, well their website keeps crashing saying "Bad Request". I decide I'll call back, it starts the same process with Alexia, I explain I just want to talk to a sales person. After a few minutes on hold, she says, I can't, they are all in a meeting. The store opens at 9, this is at 930, should'nt sales meetings be held before you open? Anyways, I say forget it, I'll find somewhere else to spend my money and hang up. I get a callback and voice mail from Bill the salesmanager. He gets me to a guy. The guy is acting like everything I'm asking him to answer is a pain for him to answer. I explain what I'm looking for, under 31', under 6500 weight toy hauler, he tells me there isnt' anything. I explain well I've found a couple. He says well we aren't a dealer for them. I ask if they have anything comparable, he says well maybe in other states. Gets all pissy, enters my requests and says, 3 in Florida and one in Utah and that is gonna cost money to transfer. The entire time, with an attitude. I then say, are you ok cause I feel like this is aggravating to you. He doesn't apologize but says, not its not a problem. These guys must be hourly and no commission involved because I've never seen a commission place not be almost to the point of aggravating trying to sell you something. I don't get it. They have a great selection and a great online layout but Outdoor World Chelsea has terrible sales system. Maybe Bill is trying to fix the place, I don't know but terrible experience. I gave them 2 stars because their selection is great and their online layout is great and when it works, very cool to at least find makes and models within the needs.

Gladly gave the people at Camping World in Chelsea MI a 5* review. My sales rep Tim was awesome. Him and everyone from financing to the prep crew went above/beyond to get my new camper rolling down the road when i had last minute hopes of camping 3 days after first talking to them. There cannot possibly be another crew of people doing it better than Camping World in Chelsea MI!

I had my motorhome winterized today at Camping World at Chelsea Michigan- located at 1603 S Main Street. When I called to get an appointment I asked the service staff how much it would cost- she gave me a base price but then said winterizing the icemaker and washer machine would be a little bit extra... she would not give me an exact price. When I arrived today the price quote was $429. Last year I winterized it at the Camper World Location in Grand rapids- 76th street for just over $200. I was a bit shocked at that price and she then said well they charge another hour @ $185 to winterize the ice maker and a bit more for the washer......hmmmmm. So I left shocked at the price and then called the Camper's world in Grand Rapids and asked for a quote for the same service- including of course the ice maker and washer- She said that's the Deluxe winterization and would be $259 . I then spoke with Steve (operation manager at Chelsea) to review the $429 quote I was given at his place. He did so and said its correct $429 and he didn't know what codes they (ie Grand rapids) were using but he'd look into it. When I picked the RV up- after explaining the quote I was given from Grand Rapids- Steve checked it out and was told exactly what I was quoted - and checked last years winterization bill from GR then said "Well they gave you one hell of a deal". He said they were using "in house charges and not charging the appropriate fee". He agreed that all the Campers world locations should be charging the same thing. So here's the issue from a business perspective (by the way I've been a bussinessman for 30 years now). When a customer is quoted a price from your business representative (although from a different location) and you verified that that was the price quoted- would you not honor that price? Needless to say - Steve knocked $50 off the price of $429- I had to pay $379.99... My plan- will touch base with corporate to discuss further. For those of you going in for service- Make them quote the price for the general service and text or email it to you so you have proof.....I'll update you as things progress....As an update- I was contacted by David (Operations Director at Chelsea) to discuss the above issue. After discussing this at length he agreed things should have been handled differently and if he had known what was happening at the time of my coming in he would have managed things differently. He agreed to refund the difference of what I had been quoted from the Grand Rapids dealership which I was appreciative of and stated that he will coach the individuals I interacted with as a teaching tool going forward. David was pleasant and did the right thing as a business director. I explained that I thought the staff were courteous in their interactions. I'm overall happy with a teaching moment- everyone has to start somewhere and learn from mistakes.

First time buyer and I can honestly say that Mike G (Chelsea location) is hands down the best guy to work with!! Super knowledgeable, patient with all our questions and a great personality to be around! He went above and beyond to help us make sure we had everything we wanted inside our RV! From looking at a few models unsure of what we wanted, to going a completely different route with a RV, to signing our paperwork, he really is the best to have at your side through the whole process! Getting our camper was not too bad. The issue is that we have it out for the very first time and the brand new water hose we bought from them blew apart after not even 24 hours of use. We called to let them know and see how to fix the situation. They did not take us seriously, told us to go get a hose said "it's just a little thing" then HUNG UP ON US. I will absolutely never do business with them again and would not suggest anyone go there either.

Came in for their parking lot party in May. Was disappointed that all campers were locked and a sales associated had to take keys to show us around. We are just starting to decide what floor plan will work for us and we knew we weren’t buying that day so we left. We didn’t want to waste a salesman’s time with other customers waiting. Disappointing for such an advertised event. I understand this may be due to theft but better security for these events may help retain potential customers. I will say that the front hostess/greeter was incredibly friendly.
