NOV 3rd 2023 scheduled for Maintenance. It is now January 8th 2024 and still not finished. But they sent the bill. Was a good dependable company a few years ago.Im not the only customer saying this either. Sad! Called Jen to ask what's up treated like I was bothering her.I had no right to ask !

Thumb Cooling and Heating installed a new furnance and central air with ducts throughout the house as we converted from electric baseboard heat to natural gas. The team was very organized and professional. They communicated well, kept a clean job-site, and answered all our questions. Highly recommend.

My old furnace failed completely and needed to be replaced. I called several local heating and cooling companies for a quote. Two (2) were no-shows for the appointment. One had such a backlog that they couldn't even quote for 6-8 weeks.I did get three (3) quotes and Thumb Cooling & Heating came in at the high end. However, I was greatly impressed with Jody Richardson. He was very thorough in establishing what work would be needed to replace the old furnace. Jody was always prompt for appointments and answering and returning phone calls. He took photos of the old unit and setting. He made special notation of the crawl space accessibility to get the old unit out and the new equipment in.I was so impressed with Mr. Richardson that I amended the order to include a new water heater and duct cleaning service. Since I was in a no-heat situation, Jody made sure that I would get service as soon as could be scheduled during the holiday season.My new furnace was installed on January 2, 2023. The installers were right on time. They were courteous, friendly, and professional in all that they did. This install wasn't the easiest for them. They had to crawl under the deck to gain access to the crawl space. The crawl space is cramped so I'm sure they had to work harder than a normal install. Despite that, the 2 man crew had the old stuff out and the new equipment installed far quicker than I thought. When they were done there wasn't a scrap of debris anywhere. Then they thanked me for doing business with them. It was a genuine expression of gratitude that I appreciated.The duct cleaning was scheduled for later and once again the crew was polite, friendly, and professional in all they did. They also had some challenges in doing the work. This is an old house with an addition that makes access rather difficult. I don't think the ducts had ever been cleaned. Once cleaned the air flow was noticeably improved. Between the new furnace and clean ducts I no longer have cold spots in the house. I also have consistent hot water on demand. No more cold showers!Every person at Thumb Cooling & Heating that I met or talked to on the phone are the nicest, most professional people I have ever dealt with. I feel like a valued customer. I have never had a job this large go so smoothly in my life. Starting from Nick who estimated my job to Jake the manger in charge of the installation. Both of these gentlemen were very professional and knowledgeable in their jobs and did an outstanding job. Of course I can’t forget about the installers who also were professional at what they did. The installers were here early every day and worked approximately till four PM. The job site was always clean and organized which to me, in my mind, meant the guys are professional. I literally could go on and on about the job and how happy I am. Our issues weren't taken seriouslyand we were brushed aside. Had to call the emergency line because we were having furnace issues with frigid temps. They automatically assumed the wind was the issue. We ended up calling multiple times because we were still having issues even after blocking the wind from the exhaust vent. They refused to send someone out in the storm which we understood and we called back the next day as suggested. We were more than willing to pay the emergency fee we just needed heat back. When we finally got a call back we were told to go buy half a dozen space heaters for $150 (we have a bigger home the tiny heaters you can get for that price would have done nothing). It was Brad O. we talked to every time. Very unlikely to ever hire them to do anything. Ended up needing a new furnace which we happily worked with another company to get.

Recently had a two mini splits installed. From initial call thru estimate to final install everyone was super professional, on time and work was performed exactly as expected. I had Thumb Heating and Cooling install a boiler system for radient floor heat in my home. The gentlemen that came to my home were very knowledgeable, kind, courteous and were very professional. The quality of the work performed first class. They didn't rush the install. They took the proper amount of time to ensure the job was done right the first time. The system is up and running and I have not had a single issue which I am amazed at considering the amount of plumbing and soldering that was installed. Needless to say I am very please with the work performed and would highly recommend Thumb Heating and Cooling for any of your heating and cooling needs.

Supply chain issues impacted our installation date but when it arrived a crew was dispatched and completed Installation that day - hitting the original estimation. The units have been running great and we are very pleased. They did a fantastic job installing my carrier mini split system, and were also cheapest around as a bonus. Would reccommend to anyone in the are looking for HVAC services. Water heater problem. Came within few hours. Was expecting to have to have new one installed ($1,000+)But serviceman changed hose and said even though heater from 2004 still good. I am a female senior and easily could have told me needed new one. Very honest and only cost $200.I will always use this company and feel secure knowing just a phone call away.

Saw the Rob Little Show last night and everything was handled very smooth. Very organized and kept lines short, people moving through and to their seats. Temperature inside was comfortable, not chilly like theaters can be sometimes. Seats were comfortable too! Overall great experience!

NEVER notified of charges before actually doing the work. AND they did not do the the work actually requested.I requested a checkup on my AC unit AND heaters AND to check for reason for musty smell when the AC runs.Scheduled online- worked great! But NEVER TOLD THE COST.Ken L. came out. I told him where the heaters were, showed him where the AC unit was. So far never told the cost.After awhile he asked me to turn the AC on. He hosed it down for about 5 minutes while it ran... told me to turn it off and then he went to his van. I sat there, with a check partially filled out.... never came in- just drove off."COOL," I thought- courtesy call.NOPE! I got an invoice for $175! For 5 minutes of hosing down an AC. No other maintenance done, no checks for failing or diminishing parts. NOTHING.I emailed them and I was told the manager would call me.2+ weeks later, no call, no email, no explanation, no compromise... JUST ANOTHER INVOICE.I'll go elsewhere next time.Talk about a ($175) hose job. Very friendly staff! I had issues with my boiler and they came out that same day. However, They had to order parts which took a while but from what I understand they fought with their supplier to get them ASAP which is good. The Tec that they send is very knowledgeable and resolved the issue everytime. He was also very understanding of the situations people are in when they lose heat and a hard worker! Yes, communication is hit or miss from the office but the job gets done and they have lots of calls with people upset about their heat not working so they deserve some credit.

Brad was very thorough during the job and worked very hard to come up with a solution to install a vent in our 2nd floor bedroom with some unusual circumstances due to needing to cut through the original roof . Tory was so thorough in coordinating the appointments .I had contacted about 10 companies in the area and got no call backs . Thumb heating and cooling called back promptly and the job was done within a week!!! Thanks!
