My family and I dined here after a day of racing (Thumb Coast Ultra), along with many friends. I get it: it was very busy and we waited quite awhile for our food. The service was good! Our waitress was attentive and did everything as expected. However, the food was not good. The burgers were advertised as 'char'; however, they were dry as a bone and were clearly not handmade (probably frozen patties from Gordon Food Service). They were just not appetizing and disappointing. If I'm going to a sit down restaurant, the burger should be good. The French fries were okay but were akin to lukewarm McDonalds' fries. Burger + fries (extra) comes to around $17. This is an egregious price for a subpar burger! We payed $80 for four people... and were disappointed.

Love the addition of a pool table! We have had great steaks and the Saturday surf n turf is a family favorite (and my daughter is very particular about her steak!) Fries have good flavor and are nice and crispy. Onion rings have a nice light batter. They have been having a variety of specials this winter and we have really enjoyed everything we try. Looking forward to trying the lobster bisque this evening, and the seafood boil special on Sunday. Go Lions!

Over the past 3 years, we have given this place many chances, and they failed! But now... UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT, amazing! Service was spot on, quick, and accurate. Food was reasonably priced and very tasty. Fish dinner was really crispy. Side salad was larger than most and not just roman and Iceberg. Great soup and large nachos. Service has done 180° turn around. We will be going back! Thank you!Wheelchair accessibility: My father walks with two canes, Everything was accessible, very easily for him to get In-N-Out of the establishment.

Absolutely love this place!! Excellent food, we just had burgers and fries, but, they were delicious! I tried the Mermaid water and than the Rum bucket...wow...they were so good!! And the service...Absolutely top notch! Fast, friendly....fantastic!! We ate outside which we normally would not due to cleanliness...everything was clean!! We will definitely be back to try the fish dinner and some more amazing drinks!!

I really liked this place! Nice staff! The food was good too! I had a key north burger and it came with a sweet and spicy sauce, which I wasn't to fond of. It was okay in small quantities, they had a little cup that it came in. Also the burger came with ham which already kind of sweet and it was a lot of ham. Tasted more ham than burger but that's my preference I suppose. We also got fried pickles and it had a light coating of batter that was fried on the pickle, I enjoyed it! Sometimes pickes come super breaded and it's just a grease trap but not here! The pricing I felt was a little higher than most place but not terrible. Overall I enjoyed my experience! I'd recommend For sure!

We had a great meal at Wooded Island! We were seated within 60 seconds of arrival. Drink and appetizer were ordered within 5 minutes. Entree orders were taken with the delivery of drinks and the appetizers just a couple of minutes behind the drinks. Our entrees were only about 10 minutes behind the appetizers. I enjoyed the Friday night fish special w/fries and an iced tea. My son had the kids grilled cheese w/fries. The other two in the party had the burger special and the shrimp special. Everything was very well cooked including the pickle spear appetizer. The fries had a crunchy coating that added a nice flavor. Our server was attentive and efficient. We could not ask for more.

Some of the best fish tacos I've ever had!!! Not the best view from the outdoor bar, but the food was amazing. Inside is super cool, too! They had live music going while we were there, really nice atmosphere.

Kind of hit or miss. Been here 3 times. Slow service. Burger and fish were good, but the onion rings were not made right. Batter fell right off the minute we picked them up. Waiter was great, he took them back, but new ones were the same. Nachos are good, Fish tacos had too much vegs and sauce for my liking. Tiger game on TV, decent beer selection. Good sports bar, clean.

Man what a joke, guess wait staff was alright, but food was actually laughable,( check out my pic) , my cheese burger was nothing but a frozen cheap Gordon food service Pattie and the cheese I think came out of a spray can. Man check out somewhere else this place couldn't care less about quality, how could they even serve that (pic) to anyone. The fries were actually pretty decent. But that's about it. My company had this fish dinner was about the same gfs frozen , seriously that was my cheeseburger, what a joke it was funny I couldn't even complain. I think Mickey D's would have been a better choice.

This place was pretty bad. Service wasn’t great. We saw our waitress twice, once when she took our order and once when she dropped off our bill. My biggest issue was the burger coming with no fries or chips. It was something like $4 to add a handful of fries to you meal. By the time you add fries to your burger your paying over $15 for it. I never got offered a refill on my soda but I’m almost positive it wouldn’t have been free. Not a chance I ever come back here.

The restaurant was nice, good ambiance. Ribeye steaks were good. Boneless wings were absolutely awful - it was like they were the pieces of a Tyson bag that was leftover after all the good chicken was gone. We even asked the waitress - these are the boneless wings?! (Thinking we ordered incorrectly). Wished she would have warned us- we would have gladly tried something else if we would have know they would have been so awful. Good place overall - DON’T get the wings.

Arrived at 5:28pm. Sat within 10 minutes. It’s currently 6:54pm and we’ve yet to see food. Staff seems cold and unwelcoming. Would recommend checking out other establishments.Update: I increased my rating, two stars since the food quality was acceptable once it came out. I would still look elsewhere unless you’re okay being here for around 2 hours

Pros: Friendly staff. Great bathrooms. Decent food.Cons: High prices for what you get. Saw the chef smoking right outside the kitchen. Another patron smoking while eating outside. No one seemed to care. Place was massive for a restaurant and it had four tables with people at them including us. I like a good sports bar, this was more like a guys shed turned into a bar, it does look ok, just not my kind of place and the lack of care for the two individuals smoking near the food means I will not return.

Cool place, good food...Big fish tacos!Yummy garlic ballsMargarita was bad...However, there bucket drink was surprisingly good!(Went there during Cheeseburger Festival) Keep That in Mind...They seemed short staffed..The employees seemed burnt out...Waited to see our server whom we only saw a few times...Also,Waited to get drinks at the bar at one point ...but we ended up just walking away after a waiting a while...

Might be a good restaurant but didn't have a chance to check it out during cheese burger fest. Went in trying to have a good time but waiter didn't want us there cause he had a busy week with festival. Sorry we come to your town spending money and seems to be a burden on locals. I'm sure it's not all but seems to be more and more like you don't want us here

Food was good, Ernie is always a great server. They are short staffed but work hard to please everyone. Good drink selection. Sit outside sometime...its nice. The decorations are festive and inviting.

There isn't a place around that has more potential than Wooded Island. We ate here excited to try their fish tacos, and I sadly have to say, was disappointed. The tacos we got looked nothing like the ones online, so I'm hoping it was just an off day, but consistency is a big part of this business. The tacos looked good, until I started digging through several layers of so many peppers. There were at least two different types of diced peppers in here and with a very strong sour taste. Mixed in with them were minced tomatoes as well. (not what other pictures showed. Basically, this should be called the pepper tacos because there was hardly any fish to them. After taking out some of the fish, I realized it's some of the best fish around. I just don't understand why they would choose to overwhelm the taste of the pollock with so many other tastes. Just a lot going on and very little fish. Our whole group wasn't a fan. I took my second one home, scrapped off 80% of the peppers, made some rice for it, then added some spicy sauce and it was perfect. Missed opportunity here with such amazing fish.All that being said, this is the best looking restaurant around, however looks aren't everything.Thanks for the experience. I plan on giving it another shot.

Holy cow that was amazing!! I had fried pickles (10/10) and the slam dunk which is a French dip (10/10) and it was hands down the best French dip I've ever had! I was with a large group and everyone was very impressed with there food. The service was perfect,fast,friendly and I couldn't ask for anything more!
