I ended up going here to purchase a handgun after a bad experience at Ben's. The salesman was beyond helpful. He answered every question that I had and was willing to pull a wide selection of guns out to find one that best suited my grip. I highly recommend this place. As a woman I was treated as a customer and not met with a misogynistic attitude like the previous store.

As soon as you walk in the employees say hello and how can I help you. All very polite. The store also has a very good ammo and gun selection. It reminds me of hardware store's I used to go to with my Dad when I was a kid.

Anything hardware you need, go to Gambles! Staff are very friendly and willing to help you find what you need! They can supply pretty much all of your hunting needs too! I love being greeted by the owners dogs that roam around. They are calm and well trained dogs that have learned to leave customers alone while they shop. Great customer service here!

Best place to get hunting supplies and more. Also great large bag of hot seasoned flavored shell peanuts. Drove from Saginaw to this store at least twice a month. Very professional and down home hospitality. Always glad to see ya & willing to help! Great staff!

Great place, won't up charge for ammo even if stock is low, great gunsmith. He repaired my 16 Guage. Staff is a little stand offish, you have to initiate conversations and know what you want but they are always friendly.

Let's keep it simple. Great selection and NEVER waited more than a couple minutes for an offer to help you find what your looking for. You might find it cheaper by driving 30 miles but this is a Caro institution worthy of your loyalty and service is unmatched....no matter how far you drive.

Just a small town hardware. Sometimes they got what you need other times not. I think they excel in there gun stock and selection and sometimes I feel they should expand what they do best and I feel that guns.

I bought two gallons of paint on 6/16 and 6/17 2021 at Gambles in Caro spoke to Jason in hardware total cost 86.90. painted my porch and and today 6/21/21 after rainfall last night the paint is coming off in areas their explanation is old wood holds moisture so I guess you're not supposed to paint an older porch and I guess you only get moisture in certain spots and not the entire porch very dissatisfied with the outcome and the way they handled it. This paint is made for outdoor use and has primer in it very expensive paint for it to be coming off after only 4 or 5 days. $86.99 to paint a small porch only to have come off the railing, steps and on the deck.I wouldn't recommend buying paint there as they will not stand behind it. No stars for them from me only the one because I couldn't post without it P.s. We are not young we've painted many porches in our life we are not new to this that's what outdoor paint is for and it supposed stays on at least for a while this was only 4 days we have never had this problem before

My boyfriend and I have gone in occasionally to just look for anything. A few weeks ago we went to purchase a new lawn mower. The employee was not friendly at all. I believe we were judged. We were leaving and our car wouldn't start. It wouldn't take a jump. So I had to go back in and let the employees to know that our car was in their parking spot and that we would have it gone and out of there asap. The employee was very rude asked me if I had had the same issue. Assuming it was the second time I had been broke down. You lost our future business. We spent $349 elsewhere.

Today I went into gambles and watched a "Caro person" suck on peanut shells and put them back in the peanuts for sale bin... The man behind the register did nothing when I made this apparent.... Too many dirty nuts and not enough bolts.
