Went in today for western union. Asked cashier if they had money order's. She just looked at me and said I don't know what that is. OK ,,, so then I asked if there were anymore shopping carts other than the ones outside . Then she said we are using all of them. Asked me to go get one from outside, so I tried to get them apart ,3 people were helping me and they were so stuck together none of us got a cart

The only reason I’m giving one star is because I can’t leave a review with no star. This is the fourth time I’ve went into this store where 50% or more of their aisles were blocked completely full of stock carts and unable to get to any items needed. Then only one employee checking out customers lined to the back of the store. Family dollar is renovating their store and still able to get all needed items during this time. If you can’t staff enough to have stockers empty carts while the store is open, then there needs to be a change of plan so that customers are able to get to basic things.

I’ve went into this store a lot and every time 70% or more of their aisles were blocked completely full of stock carts and unable to get to any items needed. And is always a mess and can’t ever fined anything because the stock is still in the carts and blocking aisles.

Got what we came for and out the door no problems. Sales floor always seems to have a lot of stock sitting out needing to be placed on shelves. Can't they keep it in the storeroom until it is time to work it onto the shelves? Just makes it hard to shop through the store when you have so many obstacles to get around.

Today I came across two wonderful employees! Mary and Irene! I must give them a shoutout and say thank you for your amazing customer service! The mugs I got today and the two containers will make some kids and soon to be father in law very happy next year thanks to you guys for helping me! I personally enjoyed the friendly ladies who work here, we always have a great short conversation about random things in life and even laugh with each other, still they manage to get their job done in a friendly fast way. I always walk out the store with a smile. Great place to find wonderful and affordable items everytime 😊

The rudest cashier I have ever experienced. Left my purchase & went to Rite Aid. Paid a couple of dollars more but the service was worth it. Will be back to Dollar General to speak to manager tomorrow . I have always had good service before this.

My go to store for a quick stop. The store employees will help you find what you are looking for. They have restrooms and a lot of dollar items that are good quality. There are some of those that are not so good also. You get what you pay for.

I shop at Dollar General a lot because it's close to home and convenient. The drawback is the store is unkempt and a constant clutter. Items can be haphazardly thrown with random products. There's no rhyme or reason on how shelves are stocked. The aisles are narrow to begin with and throw in carts with products to be shelved or huge rolling shelves that are blocking the aisles it's ridiculous. Trying to maneuver your cart or turn around in the aisle reminds me of the scene from the Austin Powers movie Goldmember. Austin Powers is trying to turn his golf cart around in this concrete tunnel which so happens to be almost the same width as his golf cart. Impossible feat.

Went to register asked clerk if they had anymore gallons of water. I had one in my hand covered in what appeared to be dirt. She said no just what's on shelf. Asked for a new propane tank she rang me up and walked outside with me to get a tank. She unlocked cage grabbed tank started to hand to me, then she stopped said where's your tank. I stated I wanted a new one. She put tank back and said get back inside. I moved back into store and she started telling other clerk who said we don't do new ones just refill. I then stated it says right out front you do. She then started looking and said we do, give me your receipt. They then re-rang and clerk started back out to give me tank again making me feel like a criminal the whole time. Worst feeling ever to be berated in front of other customers for her mistake. Not to mention I had to wait to be checked out while the two clerks talked detorigatory about another associate. As I turned to put my tank in my car another customer exited with gallon water jugs. She had entered when I was doing re-ring on propane. I asked her where were those she said in back the clerk got them for me. Must of been the other assosiates they where making fun of seems she was doing her job. Never again!

I shop here at least 3-4 times a week, of course i do the coupons. I know how to clip them and check what im getting correctly. The employees here are not helpful at all, the lady working tonight was not only rude but walked away without telling mw she was going to check the price on something, than told me she does not know Antrim about the coupons, i tried 3 times. I had the correct item... i had previously been in this week and had gotten it. Im very upset with my experience tonight. I work retail and would never treat a loyal costumer like she did. She was rushing me to get out and not helping me at all. Very disappointed with the employees of this store. And you cannot get through the aisles, theres stuff all over the floors, safety hazard. Laura was her name, i also had to return to tje store because i got the b2g1 free mars candy, i did use a coupon, and she told me it didnt work because i used the coupon. No. Its in the ad for that, plus a coupon. She than yelled shes not going to argue with me. I was being polite, and said im not here to argue either i just want what the ad says. She did not speak the rest of the transaction. She needs more training for sure.

Totally LOVE my dollar store and they had what I was looking for 50% off on a T-shirt. I will ALWAYS keep coming back. Mary went out of her way to help me out with what I was looking for. Kudos!!

Great store. There's a section with University of Michigan stuff even baby booties and pacifiers. Good prices. Clothes, vitamins, all kinds of kitchen and holiday stuff even dry goods and refrigerated items. Lots to offer.

I see I'm not the only person who has had issues with Laura. On our trip yesterday she argued with me loud enough customers on the other side of the store heard. As if that wasn't bad enough, her demeaning tone of voice & aggressive actions make me unlikely to return to this location. Any employee who wants to get less than a foot away from a mother with her kids because she wants to argue over a dollar doesn't need a job working in the public.

I always love coming here. The staff is always so friendly and helpful. All smiles all the time. Also the layout is very easy to navigate. Everything is placed amazingly. Love this place.

I rarely go in the Buchanan store usually very nice but this week I was standing in line waiting and another employee behind the counter said I can help someone on lane 3 so I looked around I was the only other person in line so I go down said hi put my stuff on the counter and she immediately started yelling at me she said are u the next person in line before I could say yes she just starts yelling again we can't help you you have go to the back of the line she started saying something about there policy I let her keep over talking me then I said are u going to let me talk I said yes I was look and nobody else was in line she finally rang up my stuff while she gave me accuses about there policy. VERY DISRESPECTFUL PERSON. U KNOW WHO U ARE. ZERO STARS.

Need more stock on shelves and less on the stock carts that are blocking almost every single isle which makes it very hard to shop. This is the Buchanan store. And I barely seen employees working. I seen more of the. Standing around instead of working.

The store was recently renovated but isn't so nice and clean looking at all. The isles are full of stacked merchandise, you can't walk by.

No public restroom even tho they have sign stating it’s public restroom. Even if you are a customer. They’d rather women have accidents or hold it until they get issues apparently.

The Buchanan store always has boxes filling isles...the atmosphere of the moods of staff leave little to be desired.
