Apple Valley is always nice when I need a few things like supplements, pretty soaps or lotions, or snacks ie Chocolate. Decent selection of gluten free stuff and other health food style items. Don't expect to buy a steak or chicken tho, as this store is strictly meat free. Closed on Saturdays, other days open til 6.

I can tolerate high prices for the sake of product variety. I can tolerate the outdated appearance and questionable refrigeration equipment. I can tolerate poor front end service occasionally. But, the apathy and bad attitude of front end staff at this store is so bad that I've literally come to expect it as part of the experience.If it weren't for the fact that this store is the niche that it is, I would never go back.

What a “beautiful” way to reap of your Adventist community and students from the Andrews University from right across the street..Apple Valley Natural Foods Market. Good Job!!! It’s not enough that the prices on the same products as other stores have are from $1 to $3 at least more expensive..you guys have fun joking like this ??(see the pictures attached) newly this is the way to discount the products in a religious community by abusing peoples trust?? Selling a originally priced product of $5,99 for $6,29 it’s not a big loss for a human being that was trusting you..it’s a huge loss for you actually and a big big shame on ownership of this place and on this place as a whole. Apple Valley=cheap, shame!!! Thank

Horrendous return policy!I specifically asked and was told 24 hours. Yet, it wasn't honored, $60 wasted on a $175 bill. My friend bought me the bread, dry as could be, wasn't refunded. The food was so bland. I didn't even bother. Their Amish jelly, isn't Amish, way too sweet, no black berry taste. They say quality and value. It is no longer the case. No golden rule followed!

Just visiting for Andrew's University Graduation and we needed something to snack on.This store was neat ,orderly and a great selection of vegetarian foods.Customer service was excellent. I will spread the good news about this store.

You should see these vegetables. It is nothing But an apple valley Fresh fruits and vegetables, they have other things as well. You can't pass this stuff up. It's so good, great prices too.!!!

Very good selection of healthy foods. Seventh-Day Adventist run I believe, and they carry a good selection of uniquely Adventist foods! Pretty fair prices for everything and I’d recommend checking out the discount rack too!

So glad to have such a great vegetarian market here! Fun deli, great frozen section, and I love how they're always trying the newest vegan products you can't find anywhere else in the area.

Extremely unwelcoming environment and overpriced. It's like walking into an Albertsons in the 80s, and I'm pretty sure a requirement to work there is to have your personality surgically removed. I've gone there numerous times and have been "helped" by numerous individuals. Each one has the personality of a wet dish rag.

Great slection of organic non-GMO food and suppliments.I was needing to use wi-fi for work and saw Cafe 31 was near there, and upon arrival I learned it's closed.I went inside Apple Valley to ask about the wi-fi and was directed to the service desk and got the wi-fi information from Lynda who I heard tell me "you have to sit outside".When I was in the other organic section of the store they have tables and chairs and a gentleman said I was welcome to sit there.As I walked from the service desk to the organic section of the store with tables and chairs, I heard Lynda yelling across the store, "you CAN"T sit there!, you can't sit there! you HAVE TO go outside!"My laptop was not even out of my bag and I was looking in that section of the store for coconut water.I Then found the coconut water I was looking for and went to the service desk and asked to speak to a manager or owner, and made it transparent that my preference for respect, and mature communicaiton was not met hearing the employee Lynda yelling at me from across the store.I then heard the manager (a woman) say to me, "that's ok" and I replied, "no, being a customer who has not done anything wrong and being disrespected like that is actually not ok." To where then I heard her say, "thank you".Apple Vally Natural Foods owners/managers, please consider helping your employee learn about interpersonal skills and more respectful ways to communicate with customers making requests instead of yelling demands from across a store infront of other customers.Thank you.

Apple Valley is a great store and we stop here every time we go to St. Joseph or to the beach. Lots of vegan options, and a huge freezer selection. They also have a great variety of vegan baked goods and cakes frozen. The vegan donuts are amazing and we make sure to special order some ahead of time before stopping in. Amazing selection but with fair and decent prices. I love this store and wish we had one closer to us!

I've been spoiled with the natural food stores and their options that big cities have to offer.So it was a bit disappointing to see a natural foods store with a very scarce organic selection, both in the produce, aisle and bulk sections of the store. In addition, the prices are surprisingly expensive! You'd think that being surrounded by acres of Ag land and orchards that fruits & veggies wouldn't be so expensive (with exception to seasonal items). That made grocery shopping somewhere else necessary. Just glad this will not be the food store I have to purchase from here on out.

Products are good, is just the shipping dept not packin boxes secure enough to survive the transit, today i recieved the 3rd order from them, and as usual the box was damaged an i lost a sack of grain. Added up my losses now total around 30$ i called and spoke witha representative, but was offered no refund or replacement for lost items. Only thing i can suggest is only order shipments that weigh 10pounds or less, this last pkg was only 20lbs and it failed miserably like the last 2 shipments were , least today only one bag was ecploded an loose in the box, last two had several sacks in each order that were blown apart. It does no good to complain, i jus keep absorbing the losses. Untill i find another source.
