First visit here! Everyone told me how great it was and we had to try it!! So glad we did! Nice servers, small town feel, fantastic food!!! Super impressed!! The prices are so cheap too!!! Portions big!! Go here!! Sad I waited so long to try it!

What a nice find for my son, his son, and me. The food was great. I can't believe they serve my favorite food, chicken gizzards. The waitress was amazingly friendly. It is a small dining area but man I fell in love with this place. I am going to go back and try all the dishes that I think sound so good throughout the summer. There was only one rude customer who made a mean remark about my grandson watching coco melon on my phone. Whatever! I guess he would have liked it better if my grandson was whining and crying because he was bored. One of the several ladies that was dining with him stole one of the glasses she was served her soda in. The wait staff and the food made up for those customers ignorance. Best diner food around.

This place is worth the drive to visit. I highly recommend to put Abbey's Gab 'N Shack on your bucket list of places to eat. I ordered the Hot Stuff burger and sweet potato fries. My meal was delicious

The service was good and the people were nice... but the food was bland I ordered the stake burger with the added onions and mushrooms and a double order of fries. The fries were under cooked and cold in the middle and had no flavor and were very soggy and the onions were under cooked as well. The berger was flavorless and I only got one piece of bread cut in half for a bun? All in all the only thing that was good and had flavor were the mushrooms.

Me and my wife stop through about 2-4 time a month this review is based off all my experiences.Fair price, good service. Never had any problems personally, they do get busy at time which I do believe to be most people issue with wait time. If you’re to lazy to cook your own food you’ll get your food when the cook has time to cook it! This is not fast food and is a small sit down dinner.. food is fresh and fantastic but take time to cook right! 4/5 only restaurant I visit in Belding consistently. I love my Grilled Ham and Cheese!

Fantastic home cooking served to you by the sweetest staff. They offer some incredible homemade dessert and indulgent ice cream treats. We LOVE this place! I absolutely LOVE this place. Homemade fries are like "fair fries" except they are not near as greasy. Abbey is such a sweetheart too. Awesome place for coffee and a quick little bite to eat, or have some fish on Friday. All in all, a great little "hole in the wall" restaurant. Keep an eye out for a new mug that has the Just Sadie's Scenes first official photo to be published worldwide.😚💙

Do not let the exterior fool you--- it looks like an ice cream place. Go to the side and there's a door that takes you inside with about a dozen tables. Nothing fancy, but good good America style food. Add that to the friendliest waitress ever and they deserve 6 stars. Definitely a return to place. Oh, did I mention their prices are excellent.

Hidden gem! Great food (breakfast all day, btw)! Wonderful servers, great chef, attentive owner. Very reasonable prices. If we get that direction again, we will definitely stop for a bite!

Great food.. best place in Belding to get good food by far.. excellent service as well.Had to drop the star review due to the last 3 times we have been there the service and food quality is diminishing... hope they can bounce back.
