I’m so happy I chose to come here ! She made the Process so quick and easy and also took us down to look at the different size Storage units while breaking down price for us. All together the process took less than 15 minutes it was amazing ! 10 out of 10 would recommend to everyone !!

I have had a horrible experience with this place. First of all, it’s a dump. The inside of my unit gets rainwater in it. There is bees everywhere and the light that is supposed to be above. My unit doesn’t even work. I reported this numerous times and nothings been done. My biggest problem is I went into my unit one day and because they are not maintained the door. Jumped off the track. I’m not rough. All I did was lift it and I’m only 53 so when it went up it went off the track I could not reach anyone Through the numbers that I called, the manager was not on site. The corporate office or central switchboard basically told me there was nothing they could do that they might be able to get someone out to fix the door the next day. Mind you the door was open . I asked them if I was supposed to leave the door open and considering it was only 11 I didn’t see that as a feasible option. I asked them to please reach out to the manager district manager. Anyone who could help the response I got was that they can’t reach anyone. I was told that a manager would call me within 45 minutes as I sat at the storage units to go to my job. This was in July. I have followed up with them every two weeks since July about this issue. I finally spoke with the regional manager or district manager. I’m not even sure which last week. It’s November. I had refused to pay until someone reached out to me because originally the corporate Central board told me they were going to give me a credit. I received no credit no phone calls no nothing . I ended up finding a ladder and banging the heck out of the rail and fixing it myself that day. After waiting until 4 PM. I missed a day of work. When the District manager finally, I caught up to her at the storage units she didn’t even call me . She asked if I wanted to go ahead and pay and vacate. Because I had been waiting for her or the manager in the lot she assumed I was a vagrant on the property. She did not give me any other options except to VK. I waited a few days, called her again And her option was for me to take a lousy $50 credit or vacate. I don’t see where this is a great option considering I didn’t do anything wrong lost a day work and no one had bothered to call me. The local manager is a nice gal. She does what she can to help but their corporate office sucks , they lie they don’t tell you they’re gonna add on fees and extra insurance so when you look at your rate, don’t take it at face value. If I could give them a zero rating, no stars, I absolutely would. They also cut my lock off and refused to at least replace my lock.

Came into Rentals of America because we are downsizing our house. My wife suggested this place. And Alicia went over a bunch of great options for us. Still undecided on what to do but i wanted to give this place a review and her the credit on me being a new soon to be customer. Thank You so much you were wonderful! I think your boss should give you a raise personally but anyway have a great day and see you again soon!

Storage unit flooded multiple times and they never notified me. BS insurance they force you to have didn't cover any of the damage and they refuse to deal with it. I lost almost everything I own thanks to this place. The gal in the office tried to help, but I kept asking for contact info for the owner and got nothing. I know the onsite gal talked to a Kim who offered me a free months rent. What was the point of a free months rent when you ruined my entire household of furniture. Run far and fast from this place because honestly I find it really shady they won't help me even after knowing the unit flooded and they hadn't notified me. I was trying to be cool and let them do the right thing but that's obviously not happening. I lost all of my possessions except my clothes thanks to this place, but maybe I can help you save your stuff. Don't store here! EVER!

Your customer service representative, Val, at the East Michigan office is awesome!! She was so very helpful and patient with me, and gave me lots of great ideas that really helped me navigate the storage space business. Fortunately, I wasn’t in a huge hurry to get a place, so when she suggested that I wait a week or two, I gladly took her advice. So when I stopped into the office a couple of weeks later, not only did she have a couple of units for me to look at, the site was closer to my home. And, the price had dropped considerably, so her advice ended up saving me a LOT of money on my monthly payment. Thanks, Val!!I really feel that Val is a very strong and valuable asset to Storage Rentals of America. Because of her excellent customer service, I would highly recommend SROA to anyone needing quality customer service and a clean, convenient location for their storage needs.

I originally rented a unit online, then discovered it wouldn’t work for what I needed. I went to the office, where Val helped me sort everything out. She was friendly, professional and was able to transfer me to the unit that I needed, all while finding me a discount! If I was just rating customer service with Val, I’d give 5 stars.The units are clean and well lit. The gate takes a couple tries to open and is very slow.

I couldn’t be more happy with the staff and manager there customer service and willingness to help was outstanding, I would recommend them to anyone looking for a storage unit, the facility is great and we even had to rent a second unit and they were happy to accommodate us in everything we needed. If I ever need a unit again this is the place I will go to every time.

Awesome place with an awesome manager! Randy is so helpful, friendly, and accommodating. I didnt get out of work until 5 so I called to see if there was a way that i could still come to get set up with a unit and he was more than happy to stay after close and get me all set up. He even took me to my unit and showed me how to open and close the door and how to lock and unlock it. He told me if i ever had any issues with my unit, needed snow removed from in front of my unit, etc., he said don't hesitate to call. It made me feel very comfortable since it is a bit scary leaving your personal items in a storage unit but you can tell that Randy cares about the business and the customers and thats really helps. I definitely recommend Battle Creek Self Storage!!!! Thanks Randy!

Now they want to add a 100.00 lien fee, on top of a 20 dollar late fee.. If I'm having difficulty paying my monthly storage fee, how am i supposed to pay an additional 100 dollars on top of that. The company sucks, but the young lady at the desk is amazing.

I have nothing but good things to say about Battle Creek Self Storage. They are well priced and offered a free month when signing up. Every time that I called the office, even on weekends, I was able to get ahold of someone to answer my questions. Very happy with there service.
