Cute little store and often prices are cheaper than the big box stores. Employees are always courteous, professional, and make sure I find what I'm looking for.Customer Service in this day and age is almost nonexistent. Mix Hardware always puts the customers first.

Good local hardware store, but it's not the only one and prices are way far from competitive. If it happens to be convenient for you or your among those who've been going there for umpteen years, then I suppose keep going there. If price is even remotely a concern of yours, go elsewhere. Compare for yourself on prices.

These types of amazing hardware stores barely exist anymore. Most knowledgeable, friendly, and best service you can find.No offense, but little Tommy at Home Depot usually doesn't know what you need. Mix's does.

A friend suggested Mix hardware...I am glad; I needed glass replaced in 2 of my home windows for home owners insurance.Quick repair Great!Friendly- Certainly, felt like a regular customer, young man helped me get windows in and out of car trunk.Reasonable; Yes...I needed a little help getting the windows back in place.They even gave me 3 names of individuals who do such "handyman" work.Thank you fellas at Mix hardware.I also picked up a snow shovel on my last trip there.

I went to Mix initially with the recommendation they’d be one of the best places in town to get glass cut or supplies for reglazing my windows. I was very impressed with the service and selection, and ended up buying several other things that were on my list as “not today but soon”.I was a little hesitant starting such a big project on my own, but the employees seemed confident I could do it, and even gave me some tips. Walking out with the staff seemingly more excited for me to start this project then I was, was incredibly refreshing. Thanks Mix!

They had an extensive selection, but we're very rude and misogynistic. I will not be returning, which is sad because I was looking forward to supporting a local hardware store.

I sent a message to them last week on fb someone opened it up but didn't respond, ( time was given ). Huge pet peeve of mine. Obviously they are too busy to answer a question or they didn't think it was important to reply or didn't care. I've used this place numerous times and have always had a decent good experience. Customer service this time was lacking and disappointing.

Very middle of the road overall. Prices here are clearly based on their offering convenience, there's plenty of cheaper places. Their a neighborhood type store, so staff/employees are often too casual, professional to a rather limited extent. But that ain't to mean their not nice, not at all, just far from professional most of the time. The best thing about them is that they are knowledgeable and they do try.

I was having a hatd time finding a size 18 metric nut for my lawnmower and already been to 3 stores. The employees are very nice and helpful to all their customers. They helped me find the part i needed and it worled excellent. I woild recomemd this store to anybody having a hard time looking for parts.

Love Love Love this locally owned business. Our family business has done business with Mix Hardware for years. They really know their stuff and are always willing to help with whatever our rental properties throw our way. Highly recommended for all your hardware/garden needs. We really need more locally owned small businesses that have the personal touch.

Love It here, but they're Absolutely look at me as if I was there to shoplift! Flat out if you pay attention to the Area of The Business and expect that it May happen to them on a above average location. Been there for years and years and seems to be going nowhere soon! Great Place to shop

Locally owned and operated, great hardware store. Owners and employees are always helpful and willing to answer your questions or give advice to help you with projects. Good selection of tools. Prices are obviously a little higher on most things compared to the big box stores, but they have some pretty good deals on some things. Worth the convenience of not having to hike through a Lowe's to find what you're looking for.

I used to use Lakeview Hardware for a long time, until they closed. (They were only a block or 2 from work, so I could walk there) Instead of going to the "big box" stores, I have started going to Mix. I have found the staff to be super helpful and friendly. They have a lot to offer and a good variety of products.

This is a fantastic hardware store and a great local business to have in our community! Their selection of hardware (nuts, bolts, washers, specialties, etc) is the best around! They have much more than you may expect. You certainly get personal attention from friendly people with expertise. I'd definitely suggest stopping in!

There is a kind gentleman there that has helped me several times with projects I was trying to do. He is very patient and has undone a package to show me how to do it. He has even taken pieces of paper and worked them together to show me. I highly recommend Mix Hardware!!!

Local, friendly, helpful, and if they don't have what your looking for, which doesn't happen often, they will tell you where to find it. Glass replacement, and screen repair is difficult to find, but mix has both. They are one of my first stops for almost any home repair.

Very opinionated, variety of employees some decent most rude and unhelpful dispite effort. One star for effort but missing four stars for service and selection. I was told a propane torch would never free the parts I was hoping to free thankfully I ignored this comment and made my purchase anyway based on my own experience! It worked!!! ( All this became of me trying to buy a blade mount for my mower shaft they didn't have so I simply used my old one since mix's appearently lacks the ability to order things they don't have in stock.)

The hardware is a nice place to go to but sometimes the people that work there don't seem they like their work and they kind of rush you out and I don't like to be rushed I like to look around and see what they have and if I need help I'll go to him and ask for it but sometimes they like some people ain't good enough to come there or something I don't know
