They were amazing when my daughters dog was passing away and had to be put down. Very supportive and completely understanding! My daughter had her dog since she was 2 and at 14 it was very hard for her to let go of her best friend! This vet was the best vet we have ever been to!

My English setter cut his tongue hunting yesterday up by west branch, my mom and aunt recommended this place as they take their pets here. I live in Howell, and he was bleeding badly so I wanted to get him seen by a professional. I tried calling ahead three times while driving, busy everything. Was turned away because I didn't have an appointment, and he wasn't a patient at this vet. He was covered in his own blood, one lady gasped in the lobby looking at him. The customers of this vet were more gracious and helpful in the parking lot as compared to the staff. Never thought I'd see a vet turn away and injured dog.

Carl is very knowledgeable and helpful when it comes to all pet types. Had no idea my daughter's cat was 14! Thanks for helping her get better as well as my dog a few weeks ago. Great vet with reasonable prices compared to others in the area. Keep up the good work!

Recently took my dog there for the first time. Overall fantastic experience. Dr. Amanda was so thorough and kind. Jenna, the tech was a sweetheart and Maricella was delightful, too. We'll definitely be back :-)

The veterinarians and technicians are always so helpful and truly care about each pet like their own. We always receive great care here. Whether feline or canine, routine or unexpected emergency, we always leave the office feeling better than when we went in. Very reasonably priced for services performed, and knowledgeability of staff is outstanding.

I would recommend Bangor Vet Clinic to anyone who loves there pet. We moved from Colorado to Michigan and needed a new vet who had reasonable prices since we are on a fixed income. They are super friendly and really cared about our two dogs. They took the time to answer all our questions that we had and never were in a rush with us especially since we were one of there last customers. Thanks Dr. Carl and your staff for putting us at ease.We are happy that we have found our dogs a new vet.

Took my Charlie Brown for his first visit here and they are the best vets around! They make you feel comfortable in knowing that your pets in great hands! I recommend taking any pet there to be seen. Very professional and polite.

I'm sure they know how to take care of animals but they don't know how to manage time. If you have an appointment at 11:00 and you're not even getting seen until 40 minutes after, that's a problem. Especially when you hear them just chit chatting in the hallway. At least try to look like you're making an effort to keep your appointments. My time is just as valuable as yours and I didn't see a discount on my bill for wasting mine. Plenty of veterinarians around.

Dr. Weideman & staff are awesome!!! He takes his time to explain things to you. So everybody is on the same page. He also gives advice, like... What he would do if it was happening to his pet. It's not always in his ( the vets) favor either.

I brought my dog to the Vet and struggled to understand what the base level of care you provide during a check-up entails. I bring my dog to be looked over and you barely look over my dog and a nail trim isn't included. What do you actually do?? Why not physically look over my dog and tell me if there is anything awry??? I shouldn't just have to come in with issues THE GOAL IS PREVENTATIVE CARE!!!!! Not just coming to the vet when something is wrong and throwing hundreds of dollars at your clinic.

Was in South Haven for a long weekend, and forgot the meds that keep our old dog comfortable. No SH vets answered or had doctors on site on a Saturday morning, but this vet in Bangor very courteously worked with our out of town vet to accommodate us. They filled a script and saved the weekend for us, thank you!!!

Greatest vet in the area, and they have 2 locations with another family member having another location. All the Baker's are amazing vet's. With that being said I've only dealt with Bangor and absolutely love them there, staff is always amazing with top notch care. When I had to put my 16.5yo pit/boxer down during covid they let 2 of us back when they were only letting one. The compassion they showed during that hard time was above and beyond, as they basically wept with us. I had her cremated and they helped with all of that and did a foot print in clay as another keepsake. I've used several other vet's over the years in surrounding areas and always got a hurry up and pay me feel, like just another number. You don't get that at Bangor, you feel welcomed and you can just tell how much everyone cares for your animal as their own. Highly recommend giving them a try, you won't be disappointed

I'm sorry that I had to give them 1 star to get to post. I live 1 house from their office in Bangor and when my dog had a stroke they wouldn't even help put him to sleep. Said I other half owed them money but when our cat broke his leg there office in gobles sure took my money. HOW DO U CALL YOURSELF VET'S THAT HELP AND LOVE PETS WHEN U WOULDN'T HELP A SICK DOG. Very rude and actually hung up on me. DO NOT GO THERE IF YOU LOVE YOUR FUR BABIES

Well I had my pups neutered and besides telling them over the phone I wanted one to have his DC double few claw removed...I discussed it when I brought them in, however the subject somehow failed to get on the order, so it wasnt done.

This place is a joke! I had called the Friday before and got my dogs neutering appointment scheduled to a later date. Then I get a letter in the mail stating that they're going to charge me a $50 no show fee so I called them up and talk to a lady and she kept saying that we didn't show up and I told her it's not that we didn't show up we reschedule to a later date. And then I talked to another lady for about an hour on the phone and she said that she would take off the $50 and that I would get a notification the day before his surgery that day came and I never got the notification so I called her and she said that they are still going to charge me the $50 and that I had got an email confirming his last appointment which I never got!! I will never take any of my animals to them again !!

First off I want to say that this is one of the most insensitive places I have ever called or went into! Horrible customer service they are greedy all they want is your money! Dawn is the most rudest person I’ve ever spoke to in 47 years of being on this planet if you do not have a good rapport with somebody you should not keep talking to purposely try to make the person upset and then hang up on the person if somebody does not want to speak with you the professional thing to do is give the phone to somebody else because obviously the person thinks you’re a very rude individual! I advise nobody go to this greedy place in less you want to give your money way and be talk to you in a disrespectful manner over and over and over again! And if somebody wants to speak to the doctor they should be able to they should not have to go through the bulldog to get to the doctor. So for the doctor very rude individual you have working for you!

Moved to the area only a couple weeks ago and our dog started acting like she had an ear infection. No other vets were taking new patients, but when I explained the situation, they fit our dog in. Extremely nice and helpful. They came out to the car to get her (Covid) and the vet himself called me to explain everything. Brought her back out, I paid, and off we went! Glad I called them and glad I decided to go there!

Such nice, caring people. We take all 4 of our cats here and they always feel comfortable with the staff.The office has later hours (which is great for people that work) and are also open for a few hours on Saturdays. I would definitely recommend them!

I took my cat here because I was worried about soreness in the back end and some blood in her stool. The vet felt around my cats hind end, and when he did not find anything obvious he said she was just a grumpy cat. He did not offer to run any tests and sent me on my way. The vet tech did not even weigh or fully check in my animal. They are too expensive for the service they provide. I will have to visit another vet to make sure my cat is actually fine, and will never be coming back here again.
