I live in AuGres and sometimes I forget how nice it is to have this place in our town! Their food is fantastic and made from scratch with premium ingredients. I wanted to get a small snack for my employees last week so I got 6 breakfast wrap things. They were fantastic, cooked to order, fast, and under $20 I believe! I don't know why I'm not there more often, but I will be! The coffee is wonderful tooWheelchair accessibility: Floor is flush with sidewalk and parking lot

Awesome new cafe in town. The pastries are to die for, and it's nice to finally have a cup of coffee beyond Folgers brew at the old school ma and pa stops. This Cafe is a great new path for Au Gres future in service industries and hospitality. Original and new, while staying to the classics. Highly recommended, and a must stop in the area.

My number one spot for road trips back home up north.These ladies know their way around a latte and some baked goods.I Remember as a kid I think this used to be a Halo Burger.It had changed hands over the over the decades but in my opinion, this iteration is by far the best use of the space and also indicative of what Au Gres has to offer.The pastries and snacks here are amazing, even varieties that I don't normally go out of my way for.My top recommendations would be the sea salt chocolate chip cookies that are always soft, and shortbreads. Shortbreads are so perfect and buttery you would assume they were imported directly from England.I usually get mine with one of their amazing London fogs. Chef's kiss!Their coffees and blends are heralded by many of my coffee nerd friends and family.Once I get them hooked, they always return.And if you are traveling with the dogs or have a few back at the summer cabin, the homemade dog treats are a must.The women inside are always fun and cordial.They can spill the tea with the locals while simultaneously chatting up and entertaining The travelers while still maintaining a professional manner and delivering your order quickly.The prices cannot be beat especially for the quality of what you're getting in return.There is limited space inside, just enough to place your order and step to the side.This is not an issue since the parking is right up to the building within a few feet at the entrance.There's the lovely shaded porch area in the front to enjoy your treats and sip your caffeine.Should you be in the surrounding area, heading out to the lake with a bay for some fishing, or live nearby this is a real gem of a place.

Go here and buy the strawberry rhubarb jam, it’s so good I called ahead and she made me 8 jars (yep it’s that good)! The coffee is good too, creme brûlée is the go to for me. You will not be disappointed I promise.

Don't drive by, you're missing out. Best hidden gem around!! I had a creme brulee espresso coffee that was without a doubt the best cup of coffee I have ever had. If I could give this place more stars, I would have. The lemon bars were equally delicious. I'll come back despite it being a half hour trip from me ❤️

This review has multiple sections.I had a crème brûlée and my gal had a peppermint mocha. Absolutely awesome coffees. I’m not a coffee drinker but this drink makes me want coffee more often. It tastes just like the dessert.Also, the donut muffin is heavenly. It’s dense like a fry cake, crumbly like a delicious muffin, but tastes like coffee cake. I just want all of them.The pecan bar….I want this as a pie. When warmed up, the middle has a texture with the crisp top of pecans and has such a unique taste. Not too sweet like most pecan treats. Almost seemed like it had the flaky balaclava style pastryMy gal had the cheese danish and also just delicious. Flaky pastry and had the right amount of preserve and icing on top.I’m glad this place is back open and just crushing it under the new management.

Came here on a road trip recently and it was one of our favorite spots we encountered. So nice to have good coffee and pastries after roughing it for so long!! The coffee was really well-made and the array of baked goods was amazing. The workers there were super sweet and friendly, too. The outdoor patio was spacious and clean and lovely to sit at.

I've been here a few times now. The coffee and baked goods have been amazing every time. It's walking distance from the campground, which make this place such a cool place to hang out. The atmosphere is great. Everyone has been incredibly friendly and efficient. The deck outside is nice, and the seating area inside is adorable.

Great little gem of a coffee shop. Owner super nice and friendly. Lattes were perfect! Bakery goods were delicious - macaroon was half gone before we were out of the parking lot! Wished we lived closer for sure will be making our way back when in the area. Highly recommend stopping!

We stopped here on the 5th of July, so it was kind of an observed holiday and I was very impressed. They have a nice group of hard working people making a myriad of coffee drinks, and they have several bakery items. It looks like they make their own baked goods right there too which is nice (you can see their ovens and baking supplies). The donut muffin was great. I’d stop again for sure.

This is a very lovely place that has fair prices. When I'm up north visiting my brother's, I have to stop here every morning. Their coffee and pastries are very well made and very enjoyable. I had almost all of their pastries and liked every single one of them. They have a modern environment where you can enjoy your treats.

They have the best coffee in town. Their baked goods are always fresh and tastes great. Although they are a bit pricey it is diffently worth it. I always leave the girls a tip so don't forget! It was a great idea for our town, we need more businesses to get our town of AuGres, MI. back on the map. The area is beautiful with little to no riff raff. I fell in love with Lake Huron it's breath taking views put you in a great mind set. Great job Cauffee Espresso you are the best.P.S. The strawberry tuxedo coffee is my favorite.

Finally had the chance to stop and try out this cute espresso bar. Definitely the best latte I’ve had north of Bay City. If you are headed up north on US-23 you’ll have to make time to stop. Grabbed a couple cookies to accompany our coffee and they were amazing! Will definitely be back.

Cute place. The cashier was very friendly and sweet. Was excited to try this place, but was overly disappointed. Ordered an iced caramel Latte and requested it made with 2% milk. Watched the employee pour cold brew coffee over ice, from a pitcher and add a pump of caramel flavor. No milk at all, therefore not a latte. Disappointed to see it poured from a pitcher. Should of said something to the “kind of sassy” lady who made it, but I didn’t. Took a few sips and ended up pitching it.

Always a pleasant stop with a good selection. We did come a bit late in the p.m. for our favorite, scones. Sold out. Just about the best scones we had, not overly sweet but very flavorful. Lots of outdoor seating and dog friendly.

Good coffee freshly ground right in front of you with plenty of options. Including homemade bakery treats that were delicious. Definitely would go back if I visit this area again. Customer service was also great!!
