This store typically has great people working that are helpful. Today I was surprised at the rude individual working in the back. I simply needed to know where to find something, and he treated me like I was a nuisance to him. As someone who has worked in retail management for 15 years I was very surprised. Not the level of customer service I would tolerate and definitely not someone who would keep his job long if I was his manager.

Best place to shop for home improvement, repair, new projects and so on. They have a lot of stuffs for your needs. The best part is I always found the things I am looking for and at a price way lower than it’s rivals Home Depot and Lowe’s. We took processed wood for our backyard deck project last year and the wood has not shown any degradation since. High quality and lower prices compared with competitors, what else do you need.

It's good with a very large selection of just about everything you need home related. Couldn't find a sales associate to assist when I needed though.

NOT A VERY GREAT EXPERIENCED AT ALL !!!!SINCE 2020 I SHOPPED AND STILL SHOP TODAY. I’M USING PICK UP AND AND A VAN . NEVER ASK ME CHECK THE INSIDE UNTIL VERY RECENT. SOME EMPLOYEE ATE ACTING VERY STUPID. RACISM OR DISCRIMINATION. I’d RATHER GO SHOP AT HOME DEPOT AND LOWE’s NO PROBLEM ATLEAST I GET PROPER TREATMENT AS A CUSTOMER! YOU GUYS MUST CLOSE LIKE CLOSE. SOME EMPLOYEE JUDGE CUSTOMER BUT THE REALITY YOUR EMPLOYEE SMELLS WEEDS AT WORK AND THAT’s A FACT!

This location rarely has more than 2 checkout lines open and it’s staffed by excruciatingly slow cashiers. The process takes so long I started going to a different big box store that has self checkout. If you value your time, go someplace else.

Found more items here than I did at the store in Belleville. I am not overly impressed with being talked down to by the employees, because I made a factual statement. Sometime it was hard to find people in the areas I needed help in but help finally appeared after asking an employee from another department to call some one. Why do they have roofing nails listed in two places, and then the employees look at you like you have a hole in your head...the belittle you when ask why?

Large selection of all kinds of stuff from paint and wallpaper to window treatments and flooring, from construction materials to trim and finish items, from tools to lawn and garden supplies. The staff is friendly and appears to be happy. Excellent customer service. No hassle returns. I accidentally left an item at the checkout, and when I returned several days later they happily provided a replacement.

Apparently Menard's has a policy that in order to get a refund for an item you purchased online for curb pick up that is out of stock, you need to come into the store. This defeats the purpose for those of us with severe anxiety. I called the store and one of the managers, Corey Kitchen picked up. Corey came out to my car to talk to me then processed the refund himself without me having to go in. This would have been a 5 star review for Corey's awesome customer service but without Menard's stupid policy he wouldn't have had to step up. Nice job Corey and thanks!!

Pretty "eh" service. Online order pickup is a chore, and typically takes 10-15 minutes, much longer than simply grabbing items off the shelf. Pickup Counter in the back of the store is often unattended, and service seems pretty lackadaisical. Prices are good, but service is better at other home improvement stores. Not pet friendly :-(

Mixed emotions on this store, it's a lot like a 35 year marriage...."I love you, but I can't stand you!" Just hard to make a larger order, go to the back to order, go to the front to pay, go to the back to pickup!

Unless you are grabbing something off the shelf, I would stay away from this location. Terrible service. After 4 months of being reasonable with them I had to get a refund on countertops because they repeatedly messed the order up due to poor communication and each employee trying to push their work off on the next guy. Every service department is incredibly slow. Save your time with the service based purchases and go to lowes or homedepot .

Only having one entrance with turnstyles forces customers to feel as if they are being herded like sheep. Very frustrating when arriving at a new location and trying to find the single entrance on a 100k sq ft building only to feel like a numbered sheep minus the ear tag.

Very disappointed with Jackson Road Menards on a paint purchase yesterday. I was not provided with accurate information when I asked what paint was on sale and then found that a discount was not applied at checkout. The "manager" implied that it was my misunderstanding . They have lost this customer permanently to Lowes just down the street..

Everybody inside the store was pleasant and great, but as soon as it came too going around the building for large item pick up whole script flipped, called the number as the instructions say for somebody to come outside (only vehicle waiting), 30 minutes later I had to walk inside to find the guy working the pick up desk too busy chatting up another coworker just too act bothered and off put when I walked to the work station. Get the order info straight with no shortage of attitude, employee grabs the hi-lo and item and meets us outside at the truck, in the process of loading an item a quarter the size of the bed he bumps the tailgate with the hi-lo marking up the top of it and zipped off with nothing more than a snarky “whoops sorry”. Menards is a cool store with a little bit of everything but this interaction sealed the deal on shopping elsewhere in the future.

Easy rental process and wonderful people helped load all 70 pavers for me. Only complaint is that they start the truck time when you pay even though in this situation, it took quite a while to get all the pavers loaded before I even left the store. No wear and tear or gas use just sitting in the loading area so I feel they should start the time you actually leave the building. Otherwise, it was great service and would have 5 stars for sure. Oh yeah, would be nice to get military discount that Lowe’s offers.

Very spacious aisles. Nicely organized too. I have been here several times. I received help almost immediately for questions I had in both plumbing and lighting.The next week I had to return blinds I accidentally got the wrong size. Customer service was excellent. Very helpful and friendly and even suggested a change for a great discount.

From the time my family and I walked in the door we were welcomed and greeted with friendly smiles as we shopped. They were knowledgeable of various products, proactively offered guidance with our search for the ideal gifts, and willingly offered assistance with loading our cart/car. The place was clean and well organized. I had a great experience without stress shopping for everyone on my Christmas list in one stop!!! Thank you :))

We ordered all of our new kitchen cabinets through menards and had an excellent experience with the kitchen design team. All team members were patient, courteous and extremely dedicated to help solve any problems, find solutions while maintaining excellent customer service. Darryl and Diana were amazing supports! They fielded additional orders, phone calls, in store consultations and returns throughout our entire process. We tried multiple kitchen design teams from other competitors as well as a private design company but found that the knowledge, availability and responsiveness of the Menards team was superior. The quality of the cabinets (Cardell) is impressive and we are still happy 1 year later with the durability.

Went here on a Sunday. Zero employees on the floor, couldn't find any help. We wanted to rent a truck then found out they require insurance. U-Haul never requires additional insurance for their trucks. Also, this hyper aggressive theft prevention can go to hell. A turn stylus at the front and wading through people to try to get to the desk after the registers? Absolutely not, never going here again.

My shopping experience was great. Staff is friendly and helpful. Fred W. is always a great associate Therr was a young man in the pet department who went out of his way to find a product for me. I'm very sorry that I didn't get his name. He was great.

Buying one item, i asked if they could open another isle, as there was a line (yes, i could have waited). A new person was just beginning to carry her cash drawer to open a new lane. When i saw her, i logically followed her over there. She turned around and snapped at me, "STOP FOLLOWING ME". As if i was going after her cash box or something. She could have said, I'll call you over as soon as I'm ready. She then said she would not serve me, as i was being rude to her. (After she told me to stop following her). She was the front register manager :(

Had a little trouble finding what I needed. I hate getting lumber here. I just wish they would give you at least a general idea on where your item was in the yard.

Waited 30 minutes for someone to help us buy a new range that we already had picked out. I had to go find an employee (who was very nice) from another department who let us know it would take 1.5 mo to get it delivered (it's one they had on display listed as on sale, just in another color they didn't have in stock). We just went ahead and bought it online instead. This store is just ridiculously understaffed, Lowe's up the road is property staffed.

If you price custom window blinds or shades before versus during the near-perpetual 11% Rebate Days, you will quickly discover that it costs less to purchase them when the big mail-in rebate days are NOT going on. While prices are better on some products, the employees are not nearly as knowledgeable as other options. So the store is not great, but not horrible either.
