Even with mobile A/C units available, they struggled to maintain a comfortable temperature during a day that was just in the 70's. Prospective couples should definitely discuss climate control solutions with the venue, especially for events planned during warmer months.As for the cuisine, it was satisfactory but may not exceed expectations for those with a discerning palate. The food service is competent, yet it might not be the highlight of your event.Overall, Blake's Backyard has potential as a wedding venue but it does come with certain caveats that should be considered and possibly addressed to ensure a pleasant experience for all guests.

What an amazing venue! Had my daughters wedding shower this past Sunday! It was beautiful, and the food delicious. They accommodated for diet restrictions and made sure everything was perfect,Big shout out to Becky and Kayla the event coordinators, they were amazing and professional. They helped our vision become reality. Could not have done it without them from the minute we arrived they took charge, helped keep the calm and peace for the mother of the bride.Thank you would for sure recommend for any event.

I photographed a wedding here back in June of 2023 and it is by far my favorite venue I have shot at. The greenhouse is absolutely stunning and gives the perfect balance of natural light, greenery, and vibrancy for this beautiful event. Great spot, we went on a Sunday around 5 or so not very busy. Had a great appetizer, didn’t care too much for the tomato soup, but loved our entrées. My husband said those are the best fries he’s had in a long time. They’re so different. I enjoyed my Caesar salad with salmon.

In my very short visit here I was very lucky to meet their employee, Patty. She was kind, funny, and helpful. It's rare to meet someone who is able to truly connect with a person on the otherside of the counter.Before I even open our bag of (always delicious) doughnuts - I'm already planning on being a regular here and the reason is Patty.Thank you for being such a wonderful human.

We can here on a Sunday around noon the lunch rush was just starting to come in around 1230/1. Our teens ordered the Blake's burgers and fries and my husband and I shared a party pretzel. Everyone raved over the food! It was delicious! Atmosphere was very nice. Service was a more relaxed but we still enjoyed our time and they do get busy. We will absolutely be back!

First time at this location, (though I've gone to the apple orchard and tasting room several times before and loved it every time), and it was during the Girls night out event! It was a pretty good event I did love the decor and the newness of the place, but with a few hiccups that it wasn't too impressed with. The staff for the most part was really accommodating and making sure that everyone was taken care of. I was overcharged slightly on an item , the posted price said one thing, receipt stated something else. I learned to look at all the choices of growlers because they won't tell you what the choices are. I learned the hard way after buying one, not leaving the store, but getting it sealed and lastly not being able to use my rewards after signing up for it the same day. Not necessarily using the coupon off, but atleast getting credit for my purchase. Such a bummer for over an 1.5hr drive, but atleast Chelsea (I think that was her name) was very awesome and patient as we all painted our glasses and dranked our spirits. It it well worth the price and overall the drive🤭.

For our first time here, we showed up for linner around 3pm. The place was pretty empty, but that made it better to evaluate. The atmosphere in the greenhouse was light, airy and fun: would be perfect for a milestone birthday fiesta. The food was deliciously seasoned. I highly recommend the pierogi. The salmon sandwich was little bland, but yummy. The dipping sauce with the quesadilla had a bit of a kick, but was the perfect amount of yum. I only tried 1 hard cider (3 berry?), but it was scrumptious. We will definately go back.

Our family loves every single little thing about Blakes Backyard. Whether we head there for dinner, flowers, treats, or produce it’s always the perfect little outing for us all! I cannot recommend this place enough, it’s a true hidden gem.

We had squash soup (a little sweet) topped with pumpkin seeds and grated cheese, and turkey Ruben sandwich. Sandwiches with coleslaw are delicious but the sourdough bread was a bit dry. Maybe it should have been grilled. Anyway, pumpkin hummus appetizer was great. It is served with tortilla chips and mini toast. I had the Mule cider. Yum. Not sweet. Other people in our group enjoyed their ciders too. I’d go back there. Next time I’ll try a burger. They looked good.The attached shop is nice. We bought 3 for 2 caramel apples, cider, and donuts. All delicious.Bathrooms are a little weird. They’re in a truck container turned restrooms.

Let me start by saying, I wanted to love Blake’s. We were lucky enough to score igloo reservations for a Monday, when there weren’t food minimums. Boy, do I wish I’d have lost my reservation. 80$ for 4, for less than hospital quality food. REALLY terrible service. Have a TON of ice and then took forever to refill, and the place was DEAD. The burgers were dry and crumbly. Nothing at all like they advertise on their Facebook lol.It took us nearly 20 minutes to even get asked about being seated. The igloo decor is laughable. Candy cane lane is about four dollar tree decorations. They are FREEZING inside too. Not a comfortable temperature at all. The space heater says not to turn it up, too. Food got cold even faster, and our noses were running it was so cold. The food was garbage. My husband and I got wraps and ALL the lettuce was yellow lettuce hearts.It makes me probably, very likely to stop patronizing Blake’s as a whole. It was SO disappointing.

My wife and I had our wedding ceremony and reception at the Blake's Backyard Greenhouse last night on October 29, 2023 and EVERYTHING exceeded our expectations. I worked mainly with Shelby on working through the venue reservation, floor plan changes, and catering selections. She was FABULOUS and so easy to work with.Yesterday, I had the distinct pleasure of working with Piper and the event staff. Piper and her team were professional, courteous, helpful, and really made our guests feel welcomed. A HUGE shout out to Piper and her team...A- plus job.The food was phenomenal! Our guests, every single person, raved about the food and service. We chose the pulled pork and brisket, Mac and Cheese , veggies, salad, potato salad, with fruit cobbler and the donut wall for dessert. Super delicious!!The venue was ready for us to set-up, was VERY clean, and ready for our event. From the bartender to the servers to Piper... everyone was on point!I not only recommend Blake's for any events and catering, I would gladly speak to anyone on their behalf about our experience. We have been to Blake's Backyard several times. The food has been good each time however the service has been absolutely terrible. The only thing that has kept us coming back is that they are dog friendly. The servers are not friendly. They don't know anything about the menu. We have had to wait to be served, had only half the food come out, have the appetizer come out with the entree, long time for another drink etc. I would recommend if you have a dog and you have no other option but that's it. The food is good but it's not worth the hassle and the poor service.

Always enjoy stopping at blakes. Food was wonderful. I recently tried a item from the christmas menu. We went on a Saturday and had a reservation for a semi large group (10ppl). The waitress was sweet but not trained very well at all which I put all blame on the establishment for, not the waitress. It was obvious she had no idea how to handle such a large group and spent nearly the entire time with just the front end of thr table. The only reason we even got drinks and much much later food is because we had to stop her from leaving the table. (This was after she had served the entire front end of the table and had come back to check on them). It took her 45 min. To cash us all out as she was only bringing once check at a time, (though we made sure to tell her when we sat down that we would be two to a check. So think 10 people but only five checks and 3 groups paid cash). Everything else was very nice but this would not be a place for multiple families to come together. I don't blame thr waitress at all, she looked overwhelmed and we were never rude but this is a failing of thr management and there lack of ability to place tables with experienced waitstaff or help when needed.

Went there for brunch. Was only 4 other people in there which I can understand if you had eaten there before. Food was awful. Very little variety for the extremely high price. Everything was cold. Eggs tasted awful, ribs were loaded with barbecue sauce, fatty and couldn’t even taste if there was meat on them. Didn’t try the chicken as it looked awful. Wouldn’t recommend it all. 😞😖
