I honestly cannot say enough about how wonderful our experience was with this store! Diana was FANTASTIC. She was quick to answer any questions we had and helped us to find the perfect sectional for our new home! We will definitely be back for furniture in the future! Nowadays it’s so hard to find furniture in stock without a long wait time and literally we bought and had our sectional delivered in like an hour! Just amazing!! Our new house feels like home. Went to stop by, light inside was on, sign out front said open, yet what do I find but your doors locked and a door to call to make an appointment even though it's a Friday afternoon during normal business hours. Don't like my time being wasted so we will take our purchase elsewhere. To everyone else, call first to avoid wasting your valuable time.

Went to a large furniture store in Clare Michigan. I found a set I really like and it was $3500 for everything we wanted. I heard about black dog in Alma. They looked up what we wanted and got us the exact same pieces for $2000. The exact same model numbers. Almost half. We'll be going to them for everything in the future.

Diana offered excellent customer service, quality product and reasonable prices for the furniture I purchased! Showroom was convenient and stocked! I recommend Diana and her business to anyone looking for furniture!Update: new cushions for my sofa had to be ordered after just 9 months! Called for a week straight, no return call. Finally got ahold of her via messenger and she told me her 5 year old had her phone! Really, a business lets her 5 year old have her phone??? Took several months to get cushions in, told me when to come, drove all the way there for her to be closed! So much on the back end of customer service that is crazy wrong! Buyers beware!

This is the best furniture store I have came acrossin central Michigan. I just purchased all brand new furniture for my home, new couch(giant sectional), bed set and a new mattress oh and new dresser also night stand for a very affordable price. I have searched months to find affordable brand new furniture but I could not find a place until Blackdog came into town, and the worker Diana super nice and very very helpful she ever helped me load all my brand new stuff!!!! This store deserves a five star rating for sure I was very impressed with the quality of the furniture and the amazing customer service and might I add that it was also super amazing because I didn’t have to go back to make up my mind she helped me pick the perfect furniture in one day I did not have to ponder!!!! I have had my furniture for a month now and I do not regret my purchases I absolutely love every ounce of my new furniture!!! 10/10 recommend going and getting yourself new furniture for your home!

It's great to have a nice option locally for discounted furniture. The quality is quite good, good name brand in-stock selection, and prices are very affordable even beating the prices at the box stores. Also, you're dealing with the owner directly, which means you're talking to someone who really cares about your experience with this store and wants you back as a customer in the future.

Fantastic customer service and availability. We went in looking for a specific piece that other places were months out on availability.
