Was out of extra large eggs and filled the shelves with large eggs, but did not replace the price tag from the refrigerator door. Misleading people of ther purchase, charging $2.99 for 1½ dozen eggs under a tag of $2.19.

Best part is the Pharmacy staff and pharmacist Joe and Mohammed? Not sure on spelling. They are so helpful and kind. I always get the help I need and answers to my questions. Everything is done promptly and conveniently.

I was so excited to find a great grocery store close to my work & home! I CHOOSE to shop at my local store almost daily often needing to supplement food delivery shorts. Today was a personal visit and was excited to see my favorite coffee was on sale. When it rang up wrong, I asked for assistance. I was told I was wrong, wasn’t on sale even though I know I saw the $ 3.99 signs. After I paid, I went back and Yes, the same signs were still there. I took pictures and returned to the worker- he shrugged his shoulders- not his problem. I then went to customer service where I was told she would fix it after looking at the pictures but then changed her mind because she apparently knows better. I said, ok- return entire order and call a manager. By the time 2 managers arrived, I had my money back. I shared my story and they wanted to “help”. At this point, there was nothing they could do as I had already returned entire order. I took nothing offered from them and assured them I would shop elsewhere. Personal & business needs. The worst thing about this is I now had to go to Walmart - I hate shopping at Walmart.

Overall you receive good service. There are some hiccups now and then, but they're corrected quickly. More often than not my online shopping experience is good, the groceries, even produce is well picked. When my items are brought to my car..the person is always pleasant and respectful with my purchases.Nothing but good to say about this store.Betty Clayton

Edit: stopped back in tonight hoping for a better experience. Apparently, if you have to shop after 6pm, you are out of luck. Deli was closed, meat counter was closed. Shelves weren't stocked. Cashier working self check was very nice though. Original review: No carts at 3pm. So not only am I paying more for groceries here and having to check myself out because there are never human cashiers, I now have to get my own cart. Done with this place.

I am very excited to go back to America, shop in the States like I used to. Seeing the number of things over here at Meijers vs. the real canadian superstore can't really compare. All the staff were nice. They were just restocking the shelves when I got there. Looks like I did miss out on some deals. But there will be other times. Whenever I did have a question, the staff were able to help me.

Do not shop there very often. Went to purchase shoes that were buy 2 get 1 for a dollar. The self check out wasn't to bad considering it was the day before Thanksgiving. The employees at the self check outs need to have more patience with the customers especially with the elderly. The lady helping this elderly couple was rather rude to the gentleman.I do not think she would like to be treated like that. I was there about 11am. It upset me just watching her interact with them.Sad ! Will stop me from shopping there. ❤

No half gallons of milk on a Saturday morning for MONTHS in a row. Calling headquarters does nothing.Other items consistently out of stock also.And then they make you bag your own groceries when you’re in the lane with a cashier.Many times there are no carts, yet have employees standing at the entrances greeting people. When you tell them there are no carts, they just smile and stand there.This store has single-handedly converted more Meijer shoppers to Kroger than Kroger has.What a terrible experience.Meijer management needs to overhaul this place.Stay away.

Tried to buy accessories for a sodastream. There was a MASSIVE pile of vomit in the center of an aisle with a "caution: wet floor" sign behind it. I thought "okay this sign means someone saw, and is on their way with supplies to get the puke off the floor" nope! I went through the rest of my shopping and returned 40 minutes later to the same pile of barf.The rest of the store was well stocked and acceptably clean; but this, combined with an older employee heard barking questions at another customer put a bad taste in my mouth.Everyone at checkout was AMAZING.I love seeing people in a good mood at work, while still being prompt and attentive. They made up for the whole experience by being as pleasant as they were.Would have been 5 stars if there wasn't a persistent lingering actual pile of human spew in the aisle. I get it, I didn't want to clean biohazard while working retail but SOMEONE had to do it. Putting up a wet floor sign instead of CLEANING the vomit or closing the aisle for future cleaning is insane to me. Who wants to work while smelling puke?Thanks again to the cashiers for being awesome.Whoever the manager on duty was, however, should accept a pay cut for not addressing the puke spanning the coffee maker/sodastream aisle.Edit: no customer service response in 5 months after I raised a health and safety concern caused me to reduce to 2 stars. Meijer is a VERY large company. Its very concerning that they weren't able to get back to me on this.

I don’t know which Meijer near Detroit is worse — this one or the one on 8-mile/Woodward. EVERY SINGLE TIME I place a curbside order there’s an issue! Be it missing goods, mixing orders, random non-approved substitutions, long waits or them flat out cancelling my order it’s ALWAYS something. This is a hell of a different experience from Texas’ HEB and makes me dread ordering from y’all . Do better!

Overall this grocery store always have what I need. But I recently used their bakery and was so disappointed. I wanted a Lion's theme and their image machine was down so I still wanted Detroit Lions colors. The cake look like my three year old grandson wrote it. Presentation is my specialty and I was embarrassed of this cake.

So I buy Watermelon from them yesterday night, my mom cuts the Watermelon today in the morning and it’s all rotten, like the whole watermelon is rotten which is unacceptable. Like I usually buy Fruits that are a little rotten and I’m okay with it but not this one (I believe it’s not Watermelon season so that’s why their bad) So I go to them today and tell them about the situation. I talk to a manager named Alicia and she resolves the situation by giving me a $10 Meijer gift card. She was so respectful and understanding of the situation. I offered to get another watermelon but she insisted and told me to get a gift card better. She said she doesn’t want me to get another watermelon and it’s rotten again and it would just waste my time again to come back. She said she’ll have a look at the watermelons and make sure when I come back they’re not rotten again. What an outstanding manager, Meijer you should give this lady a raise. Last but not least come on Meijer do a better job on having fresh fruits. I would give them a 1 star but I gave them a 3 star because of the customer service !!

Just moved to Dearborn but used to live in Taylor yrs back and Im getting used to the layout at the Fairlane meijer, the store is clean. They were out of two things I happened to need but no biggie. And the ladies at the cashier isle are always so nice the whole two times I've been in there at least haha.

Welp, the deli was closed on a Tuesday at 4PM because everyone decided to go home and not work. Very typical. Smh. And also, the food is HORRIBLE. There’s always something that’s expired or have a funky smell to it. They are always out of stock on the 1 item you need. And they are EXPENSIVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Okay store, regular out of the box Meijer, you know what to expect. The only things that hold this branch back is the frequency of shelf stocking and how often the bottle return is open. which at this point is seldom for both and its becoming frustrating. The foot traffic is far too high to have these kinds of issues

Always on the clean side. Great selection & good prices. They now have revamped the checkout lanes with a complete remodel. Adding another round of self checkout lanes. No longer are there bagging carousels. The cashier lanes are now very much like those at Kroger. There appears to be more employees on the check lanes, including baggers. Adding a bagging area and an employee to bag the items has sped things up greatly.

Thank you Meijer for being open 24 hours! The best improvement to be made would be lower prices. The fresh produce selection seems to be more diverse than the competing chains. One of the few places that keeps fresh jicama in stock. Keep up the good work.

Not keeping the carts stocked… had to go back out and get one in the rain. If you’re not going to keep the carts stocked then put a sign up that says to bring a cart in. That would have save a trip back out in the rain. Did all my shopping and came out and still no carts stocked there were seniors having to venture back out far in the parking lot to get a cart.

I would NOT buy your yogurt, cheese, or any other dairy product here. You'll get sick! I've actually worked here and seen employees leave out racks of dairy for 6+ hours, came in to racks at 12am and left at 8am and when there shift ended at 6 they finally got out back. They leave out ALL dairy racks, which have a 45 minute window.. disgusting. The other one I worked for DID NOT do this.

I’d like to address the bakery first. I do not recommend. Their every day cake selection is awful, if there’s anything at all. They didn’t want to help with a birthday cake order. The older woman behind the counter had rude body language and was snotty with her responses. I went to another Downriver location and they were more than willing to accommodate my request.Second: this location is consistently out of multiple items covered by WIC, as well as many other “staple” groceries that my family uses. We never had this problem before. Been in the area a year and a half now and thought maybe it was a fluke but clearly it isn’t.

Continuously puts sale signs next to wrong items to deceive customers despite multiple lawsuits. What’s the point of 50 registers and 2 self check out areas of only 2 lanes and 1 self check out is open?
