Customer service at the pharmacy is sketchy at best--they are either a 5 or a 1 depending on the pharmacist. Don't ask that 1 star pharmacist to do a tiny bit of work to refill a transfer prescription, because making a phone call is far too much work for her, and you'll be told to get a new script from your doctor at 7 o'clock at night. I called the previous pharmacy, they verified it and offered to refill it (they're not on my pharmacy's preferred list), and then offered to transfer it wherever I like. It's part of why I stopped using CVS 25+ years ago, along with their mistreatment of certain segments of the population out here. The store itself is nice and clean and usually well-stocked, and their cashiers are now really pleasant and helpful, so that would get 5 stars. But, I use a pharmacy for pharmaceuticals, and not getting the level of service from the pharmacists I had at closed Rite Aid, who practically stood on their heads to make sure we had what we needed, when we needed it, is not leaving me happy with this place . Maybe they'll learn to step it up before I break down and just use a mail order service. Who knows, maybe they don't need the business or the positive reviews that would bring. Either way, prepare to be disappointed if you use this pharmacy, and be pleasantly surprised if you get good service.

During an event in the area they closed their bathrooms to the public, put locks on them, put big signs on the doors discouraging business, making people buy something and show a receipt to use the restrooms. They have never done that before and when I asked the person in charge at the time about it, he said we don't want all those people in here and then we have to clean the bathrooms. He also said we don't have to let the public use them and don't. Sorry but that is not a good business practice. People walking through the store see all the sale items and letting people use the bathroom promotes a positive feeling about the company. I know after I was told we don't want people in here I will avoid CVS at all cost. Lots of competition in this market and with a little positive attitude CVS could win new customers. Shame on you CVS.
