Great donuts. The donuts were great and the people were super nice. The road out road is getting redone which makes it hard to get to, but that’s temporary. They also have a couple warm breakfast items.

What a unique place for great selection of bakery and pastries! We love the gluten free version they have - tiger paws and almond bijoux. Get the mixed box! This is our third time and we tried their sandwiches and soups.

The best cherry turnovers I ever had. Huge and somewhat pricy, but worth every penny. So many other delicious delicacies to sample, too! If you are a cherry turnover fan and you want to try them, call the bakery the day before and ask them if they would make them. They run out of them real fast.

We were passing through town looking for a coffee/sandwich take-out option. Stopped here and was not sorry!! Ordered their Monti Cristo and OMG it was fantastic. Homemade cinnamon bread was out of this world! I devoured that like my dog eats without chewing. 😂 Their baked goods looked fabulous too! Reasonably priced and friendly staff. Wish I lived closer to this cafe 💕

Went here with a custom request for a cake for my girlfriend's 23rd birthday. Was looking for the cake from the Blink 182 Song that said "No one likes you when you're 23" with their logo etc on it. Not only was the cake decorating and design perfect and exactly what I was looking for. It was delicious. A very good cake. The people who helped me there were absolutely lovely and so helpful. I highly recommend this place. Also best blueberry muffin I've ever had. Hands down. 10/10.

Absolutely delicious pastries! Contacted them for my wedding cake, the owner Teresa was so great! She worked with me to understand sizing and price, communicated efficiently as well. I sent her a pic of what I wanted and the day of the wedding when I saw the cake I could have cried, it was perfect!! I received so many compliments on how it tasted as well!! They are amazing!!!

The best monte Cristo up north in my opinion, delicious thick cuts of ham and turkey, paired beautifully with their homemade cinnamon bread. Their pastries are a great appetizer as well. If you are looking for breakfast check this place out!

I ordered a shortbread and another honey dessert I forgot the name of (it was spiced and had nuts and dried fruits). Both were very delicious, so much so that my cat devoured both of them while I slept. The ladies that worked on the day I went were very friendly too. Wide assortment of breads, desserts, lunches, and treats as well. Will definitely return!

The ladies were very friendly. We had the cheese broccoli soup and it was delicious!! That was the best cheese broccoli soup we have ever had!! I had ham & swiss on sour dough,the ham was off the bone.Delish! My sister had turkey & provolone on rye the turkey was off the bird. She enjoyed her sandwich. I bought some baked goods to take home nice and fresh quality food. Sooo good. Bought a homemade sour dough bread, good. We plan on stopping there whenever in the area. A wonderful experience!!

2021 update: sadly, they've gotten rid of almost all of the unique items that used to make this worth going out of your way for. Mostly regular old donuts now. If you happen to be in town you might stop, but we no longer travel out of our way for to go here. We really miss all the unique treats they used to make.Original review: Do not miss this gem! It's so lovely to walk into a bakery and be greeted with truly unique options that are regionally unique. Don't miss the honey fried wheat cakes! I also had a bird's nest, which is a ring of shortbread covered with a chocolate filling laced with rum, then covered in a thin, crisp layer of dark chocolate. There are so many fun things to try and to take away a box of!

Huge selection of baked goods, everything looks so delicious! Ordered an assortment of deserts, several of them were stale, would have been amazing if they were fresh. Need to cut down on the assortment but keep everything fresh. Otherwise it is either hit or miss. Wish they had a modern coffee machine and a frother to make cappuccinos, because now only old style drip coffee. They also serve breakfasts and they are pretty good. Overall clean, friendly staff, pleasant atmosphere.

I bought a loaf of their famous cinnamon bread frozen about a month ago. I have kept it in the fridge the whole time, being careful to not contaminate it when I slice off a couple of pieces. Tonight we are finishing the loaf with French toast and my husband says: if that bread is not good anymore I do not want French toast. You cant go back to regular bread again." Agreed! It was still suitable for the application and I agree, best cinnamon bread even.

Don't get there late in the day!! Place was busy and the selection was limited due to our arrival time & probably this COVID19 stuff. Good cookies but really like the ginger snaps. Donuts are good and fresh even late in the day. Prices aren't bad and what we did get, cinnamon bread, pecan bars, donuts and cookies are really good. We stop by whenever we are in the area which isn't often but are never disappointed.

Every year we come here. Everything is absolutely great. Pecan rolls are my husbands favorite. I love the cookies, there is something for everyone. Even lunch. And a great yarn shop, amazing. Oh yeah, ice cream too!

We had a late breakfast while on a weekend trip to the area. The food, especially the French toast, was delicious. Very thick slices, but light, not dense. We also loaded up on to go items.

Wonderful bakery!! Their apple fritters are the best I've ever had!! The whole family get one for the road and one for the morning. My son and mom love the gluten free peanut butter cookies. I definitely recommend trying the stuff from the cafe. Soup is "just like mom makes". Second best salt rising bread I've eaten (that's been a lot!!). Pasties are buttery but not greasy. Lastly the cinnamon bread makes the BEST french toast EVER!!

It's a deli more style than cafe. The breakfast was poorly played, the toast was made fresh rye bread but just a thin slice and no butter to speak of. We purchased baked goods as well. The sticky bun was more sticky goo and a muffin so to speak. Apple fritters should be stuffed with some apple and golden apple cinnamon sauce throughout but these had a middle bit on the surface and none inside. Probably not going back.
