Everyone is very friendly. I was looking for Pillsbury pie shell I had called and she went and looked for me. Plus you also had my favorite ice cream vanilla with marchino cherrys. Fun shopping in small town store. Thanks for being there👍👍

They have been so rude lately definitely the lady with the red hair at the register I go in to buy a vape and yes I’m plenty over the age to buy but the snotty look she gives me on top of the rude way she asks for my id is just like come on. Stacy in the back of the kitchen is so rude to my husband everytime he’s in there for lunch. He gets food after the lunch time so it’s a dollar less but last time the other person asked her if they should discount it looked at him and immediately said no. It’s past the lunch time it is a dollar more. I don’t know what’s happened here but it’s been going down hill.

I've been shopping here for almost 20 years.....The people who work here are great, BUT when blarney castle bought this place here recently, They jacked the prices up between 25 and 30% overnight and have been upping the prices slowly from there ever since. I can understand inflation in this economy but this is just greed.If I need more then one thing, I'll drive to Petoskey from here on out, even with the gas prices you'll still save money doing so...... $2.89 for a 20 oz soda? GTFOH

From majority of the reviews, I am surprised to see negative feedback from customer service. Each time I go there, I have yet to have a negative experience. I chat with the employees when they are not swamped, and they always tell me to "have a great day." It is a great place to get meat, especially when they are having their sales. The produce, as well as the deli, is great to grab when you are in a pinch. The prices are higher for the corporation goods but there is always the option of driving a few seconds to the dollar general. I prefer going here over the other local gas stations.

Generally a pretty long line, or lines. Some of the cashiers are great and get the line moving fast others do not. The lunch meat variety is great, would be better if they sliced pepperoni like the Petoskey store. Their meat is the best around in my opinion.

Great little store but, I called over there to see if I left a bag of onions that I had paid for (I did leave them) and was charged $13.49 for a bag of Idaho potatoes when they were $3 something on the sign. The person I spoke with needs some serious customer service skills. This will deter me from going. It seems like a too common thing these days. CUSTOMER SERVICE AND PHONE SKILLS PEOPLE!!!

Easy access in out and friendly staff. Good prices on quick pick up things if you don't want to go to Petoskey or Cheboygan. Ice, gas, and a little convince store all in o e stop.

This little store is ALWAYS super with selection, helpful staff, & lower gas prices than other stations. Shout out to Todd in the meat department! Mixed an order of ground meat for me for sausage making!! Great service!!

The store was clean and we'll stocked. Sherrie the cashier was very friendly and helpful. What a grade A representation for that store to have an employee that cares about her job. It is always nice to go in there but it just makes my day to see her smiling face. The meat and produce are awesome.

Decent store, in a pinch, for a few needed groceries. Some employees as well as management, do not leave you with a happy shopping experience. Why, because they seem miserable, unhappy, no smile and lacking customer service skills.

I use to like coming to this store, but they only have 1 good employee (maggie) the rest of them, are rude and very snippy, you can tell they don't like there jobs. The last 10 times I've gone in the man and women working in the deli are not wearing there mask either. Makes me feel very uncomfortable to buy any food from there. Overall over the years seems to be managment is getting worse. I would have gave one star if it wasn't for maggie, she works in the mornings and she is truly a delight.

Meat is very good at Louie's. Store is clean and Maggie went the extra mile twice for me today. I left a bag and she brought it out to me, then opened the door when I brought my cart back. Thank you Maggie!

Great selection of daily necessities, good meats, dairy, fresh vegetables and fruit. Good prepared meals. Plus typical corner store items. They carry Kowalski hunter sausage which is my favorite.

Get your WIC machine programmed instead of hoarding formula during a nation wide shortage causing sick and starving infants! Lying to customers that its not working isn't right. I had to call the local WIC office and they informed me that no one has reported a down machine, then louies corporate said you have a new machine that just hasn't been programmed yet. Two months full of lies saying they're machine is down. All of Louie's fresh markets seem to have laziness and lying in common. I've worked at the saint helen location, their employees lie to customers about it being down when they don't feel like running the machine or haven't been trained to. Don't worry you've all been reported.

I can’t shop there anymore. I know customer service is a tough job, but greeting a customer and thanking them for their business is not hard at all. I hate when the cashier is ringing you up and they continue to talk to the other employee and just ignore you. If it was my business they wouldn’t have a job! But my real complaint is the manager. I was charged twice by their register(a glitch). We went in three times and finally caught the manager. She told me the bank was at fault. So my wife goes to the bank and it was actually the stores. The teller calls the store and I was embarrassed to here that the manager was so rude that the teller is going to never shop at Louies(Alanson or Petoskey). So now we have to fill out a form to dispute the charges and wait a week or so to get our money. Oh yea, did I mention it’s only $15.88! Yep I’ve spent more money in gas and time then if we would have just left it alone! BYE BYE LOUIES.... WE ARE GONE FOREVER!!!!!!

I went into The store on 12-10 11:30am to get coffee I set the money on the counter was sitting there for at least 1 minute cashier didn’t grab it so I fliked it a little was a &5 bill my change was 4 dollars the old lady threw the money at me which was very childish

Great place to buy meat hamburger and steak, and bananas as well as freshly sliced lunch meats, Cheese's. The only thing negative I would say is there milk products tend to be rather higher-end cost.

Close to home is only good thing..bought chicken...it was spoiled..smelled nasty 4 days before expiration...meats are usually brown..( managers specials )...go there istead of driving farther...thats all.
