Though the wait for customer service is longer than one would first expect - it is well worth it and wonderful to know your small inconvenience is benefitting SO many!

Great home extravaganza. Helpful staff. Mark was exceptional with customer service. The garden section was plentiful. We got a nice lamp as well. Great tool selection and interior add on. It is busy so be careful of aisles, u-boats and machinery.

We got flat and limped to this location because they showed they were open until 10pm with fix a flat in stock. We made it with 15 minutes to spare and thought they were going to be the hero of the night…but they were closed, doors locked and gates down. Don’t advertise times you are open then not live up to your word, people depend on it.

The worst location for customer service. Placed an order in person for 12 wall tile boxes during Black Friday weekend. Upon delivery I was not satisfied with the product (I was also missing 1 piece of tile in a box). Brought the items back to this location to return (as stated on the return policy) only to be denied, stating that it was a “special order” (which is a fact because I had to order it through them as it was not available in store). Was passed around through 6 different people who said they couldn’t accept it, though policy says I am able to return but subject to a 15% restocking fee, which I was fine with. Another associate said I couldn’t return it because they don’t have space in their massive warehouse. The special order turned to a “custom order” and was continuously denied. Was also told that if I had purchased the tile on my own through the website, I would be able to return it easier. I placed the order in person with the assistance of a sales associate. There is no difference in how I made this order at all. Was advised that the vender would have to approve the return, which when contacted, stated that I need to place the return through Home Depot. Called corporate in 4 different occasions who said they should be able to accept my return but I had to speak to the store manager. For the past 2 weeks I’ve called everyday to speak to the store manager, who was either on lunch or in a meeting. Was told I would be receiving a call (never called back). Called the store today and was told he was on vacation for 2 weeks. And now apparently the vender does not accept the returns. Now I’m stuck with 1600 worth of tile. I was told before when I placed the order that I signed off on the order. The order never said “final sale” or not returnable. I was never advised before placing the order that I would not be able to return it. The staff here believes that this was a custom order, like I requested this to be made to my desire, like paint or cutting a custom dimension for blinds. This was an item available online and not custom, hence the “special order” term. Even the return policy states I could return it, unused within 90 days. By far the worst store who does what they want, does not follow their stated policy, poor customer service, manager is unknown and unseen, manager on duty is pointless as he couldn’t make his own decisions, a customer who is in need of assistance in the store is bounced around 6 different people for almost 4 hours.

Be careful when you buy lumber at home depot, we bought a 2x6, but the actual size is only 1.5x5.5, 25% smaller on thickness and more than 10% less on width, we had to drive back twice to exchange for the screws of proper length.Can't imagine the home depot products shrink like fastfood burgers.

Some attendants are terrible. Organization of disaster material. Upon arrival there is a lot of rubbish. Small and horrible parking lot. Queue for payment of contracts does not need comments so bad. This store is in a strategic location but the service organization set is terrible.

Renting a moving vehicle from here is so hassle free and fast its amazing. I'll never go back to uhaul again.I recently moved so I purchased all of my appliances from here during a holiday sale and I saved a ton. The older gentleman in the washer and dryer dept was so patient and helpful. He made the stress of finding the right appliance less stressful with his knowledge. He also helped me with applying for credit so I could pay off my appliances over a period of time. He was great. He deserves a raise...

full of lies ! We bought a washer dryer and the driver called and saud he is ten minutes away and never turns up. Customer service at Home Depot is pathetic. They wanted to reschedule and we had moved all our furniture to make way for the delivery.

Pretty standard Home Depot. They have a lot of employees but none of them went out of their way to ask what they could do to assist. This was standard at every other Home Depot I've been to except this one. Also, the items I bought were incorrectly labeled and I had to tell the cashier the correct price. At least he changed the price to what I said. It was also kinda dirty in there.

I thought I will let it go but the agent Mohammed was so disrespectful and threw me out of store .A pro who just spent more than 50k in the store . I had bought few fences and three of them I did not use so I decided to return . All were sealed wrapped in plastic but because soil is wet there was mud on the corner which would shake off after drying but they refused to take it back . I had to haul it back to west Roxbury and they did not even say nothing and took it back . I think Mohammed like people should be terminated asap . The store rating is reflected by its employees. Only home depot upper management should do something about this store . It has one of the rudest employees I have ever seen

Sam in appliances is the absolute answer to any question you may have when buying appliances. Not only is he knowledgeable but he will take the time to walk you thru every step of the process. I had some particular dimensions I needed to meet in my kitchen renovation, and made some mistakes when I was first ordering my fridge. Sam called appliance companies on my behalf to ensure that I would be given a full refund. He even scheduled my pickup and delivery for me.First class service is hard to find in the world of big box stores these days. Sam deserves all the credit for the completion of my project. Great to me and my family.When in doubt, trust in Sam.

I had 2 pallets of plants on pallets showed up on Sunday @ 12:30 they wouldn't off loaded me and the manager was nasty driver if you ever loaded plants do not go to that stored I did 13 stop before no problem once ever but them nasty

I am a very regular customer at Home Depot. I look for them in any town I am in, from Florida to Minnesota to California. This store was the worst that I have ever seen. Disorganized, messy, no signage on isles. Seriously the worst run unit I have ever seen.Bought a few feet of bulk wire and the person who got it for me wrote down the wrong number. After having to walk back and get the right number myself, I have no idea where he would have gotten the number he wrote.After trudging around the store 3 or 4 times to find everything I needed, the cashier asks me to go get the right number!This store is not what Home Depot is about. It doesn't represent the brand. Store and district managers should both be ashamed and potentially fired. No excuse for a store running this poorly.

rented a stump grinder here. It didn't work correctly, yes I know how to use one. When I returned it and explained the problem; the attendant didn't cared and still charged me $120. I tried to contact the store numerous times with my complaint and was just bounced around and eventually disconnected. too bad I rent a lot of equipment here and this is unacceptable customer service.

I go to the Watertown Home Depot when I need a guarantee they have what I need in stock. Yes, you can look on their website and it tells you what is in stock in their various stores but it is not mistake proofed so I come here when I have to get something right away. They haven’t failed me in the “in stock” department yet, probably because they are so much bigger than my local Home Depot. The staff are not as helpful though and will ignore you if they can. Since they have what I need, I can overlook the customer experience gap and give 4 stars.

Rented a pressure washer for a day. Was given the wrong gun for the machine I rented. I commuted back to the store to get the proper gun and finally got home to do some pressure washing, but the engine wouldn't start... guy at rental desk also couldn't get it to start. Asked for a refund or an additional day of rental at no charge with a new machine, but they wouldn't budge and still charged me for the day. Terrible experience and service but wouldn't expect much from these city stores.

I challenge anyone to get through their phone tree to get a warranty claim. Two hours, 8 transfers, and 3 disconnects later, I was still trying to get to a person that could actually help me. I entered my claim info at least 12 times. After all that, when someone actually helps they tell me that they are not honoring the warranty because its starts at purchase date even if you didn't actually get the appliance until 3 months later.If this isn't the definition of as scam, I don't know what is. Lowes is in Woburn. This is a little farther for me, but it sure is worth it.

I want to say otherwise that my experience at this HD was fine up until yesterday. My dad and I were here yesterday buying materials to build a new wall. After checking out, it started pouring rain so my dad went to get his truck from the parking lot (which is very poorly set up fyi) to bring it up to the “contractor pick up” point. We didn’t want to risk anything getting damaged. NO ONE informed us that we couldn’t park on the pad until a very rude Karen (who was apparently a manager AND out of uniform) came screaming at us to get off the pad and that we can’t park there because there will be a fine. We would’ve been done in less than 10 minutes to load everything into the truck, but no she kept insisting. Oh but she did ask Mike from the pro desk (shout out to him) to help us, so I guess that’s decent, but not really. It was still pouring rain, and the fire lane was like a million feet away. Way to make a scene for no reason. My dad clearly said that paying the fine would be no problem. We were so close to demand for a refund had Mike not stepped in and gave us a hand.

Do not buy Carpet from Home Depot. I'm a property manager of over 100 apartments and let me tell you, Stay away! They sub out carpet installs to people that have no idea what they're doing. My experience: No English,had to come back 3 times, glue on the walls,damaged door trim,dangerous floor transitions.

Absolutely horrible service. I asked someone by Doors with salt and pepper hair claiming to be called Han, for help. I told him 2 employees already told me where to find my jamb kit and he only said they're wrong. I asked if he could help since I'm on Lunch, he refused. I had to go back to the location and scream at the top of my lungs for help and the manager before anyone bothered to acknowledge me. I tried calling the manager to avoid posting, but they never answered.I just put in an addition and plan to spend Thousands on the tax free weekend. HD will not see a dime of that now.

Came here for one thing and as I was looking for an employee to help with a ladder a short Hispanic elderly looking man yelled at me to not walk into an area which was totally open. As he was barking at me he moved the gate to block me off (totally fine probably should’ve had it there in the first place.) I was caught 100% off guard and as someone who works in customer service it was the type of experience that’ll make me never come back to this Home Depot. If you’re having a good day go to another Home Depot or even a Lowe’s if you’re lucky enough to have one nearby.

I go to home depot because they offer 10% off for veterans. Now they require that you download an app to get the discount. I let them know I don't have a phone capable and they say you can't get the discount. Before all that was required was showing a military/veteran ID card.The staff have very little to know knowledge about trades, building, construction, etc. I often end up explaining to them how things work. Also had to explain to two different cashiers how to do a transaction (I'm a former employer from over 10 years ago) because they didn't know how to use their own computer.

We do the free 1st Saturday kids craft every month. We love that they have those and that it's free! This home depot seems to have more people show up for the kids craft than others, so the aisle where they were doing it was packed, but we found a place on the floor and made it work.

On December 3, I went to the department to return the purchased goods. The employee of this store, who was standing in the last row of the department, behaved very rudely, impolitely, rudely towards me. A very rude and impolite person. She doesn't know how to talk to customers, she doesn't know how to behave. Can't work!! She does not understand how to return the purchased goods back. After that, I demanded to call the manager of the Watertown home depot store. The manager came, it turned out that they both think the same way and think the same way. I go to this store almost every day, but I have never met such an uncultured seller and manager in my life. After I showed them how to return the goods correctly, they both fell silent. I want to say what such disrespect and rudeness I met in this store.
