Biased as someone who attends as a vendor, but I think the actual market is very good. It may sound weird from a farm vendor but I think there are actually too few farms at this farmer's market. It is more of a craft fair now. However that isnt really anyone's fault, there just aren't a lot of farms left that have to or want to do farmer's markets.

Excellent little Farmer's Market - HOWEVER...for those looking to spend Food Stamps there for fresh produce, there is only ONE booth that accepts them at this entire market!Look for the Girls under the Big Blue Awning & you'll be fine! They have the freshest produce of all the 2-3 actual Farmer Vendors booths anyways...and they go to MULTIPLE Farmer's Market, so they're known around the circuit as the friendliest, most helpful & best variety also! And ADDED BONUS - They ARE H.I.P. Vendors for the state also, so if you get a HIP Benefits reimbursement - These girls are the vendors to see!!So to recap - great smaller sized Farmer's Market with multiple vendors...mostly selling their own creations: some food, some honey, & some arts & crafts - ALL GREAT, IF YOU HAVE THE CASH! There are 2-3 PRODUCE Farm Vendors....and ONLY 1 ACCEPTS EBT/FOOD STAMPS CARD! So remember to bring your wallets or some cash...not just those trusty little EBT Cards!

As a farmers market i was not impressed at all with the booths and items for sale. I thought they would have mostly fruits and vegetables for sale, they did have a couple small booths with not many choices of popular veggies and none with fruits. Mostly booths of people selling there products like personalize your own wooden sign, hair clips booth and some selling honeŷ

I love a farmer's market! Only allowing 50 people in at a time at they are counting at the entrance. Very few vendors right now, sadly but there was a line (we waited about 5 minutes) and people are conscious to distance themselves and everyone wears a mask.

Delightful local market. There are area farmers, and also fishermen and crafts. Chris at Grants Plants has the best eggs and chickens. I have visited his farm and can tell you, those chickens have good lives. Knowing the farm makes the food mean more. Walk around the yard and you find our local fishermen with the day's catch and a tasty side of excellent seaweed salad. A wide choice of desserts to be found, and our local meadery, brewery and winery are regular vendors to add a libation. Wander up the hill to find pickles and bread and a bit further to find cookies and one of my favorites, Salem Soapworks where Kathleen sells her handmade goat milk soap and skincare products. I can assure you that her decadent lotion lives up to its name. Great for you or ad a gift from a Salem visit. And, of course, our farmers with seasonal vegetables and fruit for sale. Shop and wander. There are slso local shops, and artist workshops to be found. The shops and farm stands do take cards and ebt. You will find municipal parking lots around Salem, within a short distance lots have the expected wheelchair spots, and there are ramps so location us wheelchair and scooter accessible, though market crowds may make maneuvering a bit of a challenge. The market visitors are usually in a good mood though, and the town caters to tourists so access is pretty good. Hope you enjoy as much as I do.

Great farmers market. They have other items besides produce. I bought salmon from the fish monger who has a shop in Marblehead. There was a cheese guy from Amesbury. We got to sample many kinds of cheese.they were very tasty.

Not a great selection. Really expensive produce compared to organic at Trader Joe's. Not sure the point of coming here? Nice area. Plenty of parking. Cool playground nearby behind the school and neat trees to climb around the market.

Wonderful array of fresh, local produce and good(ies). Best to bring cash as most vendors don't take cc. Fresh eggs sold out early most weeks.
