I’ve grown to love this Petco. The staff are super amazing, always smiling and welcoming my pet family. We have 3 bearded dragons, a ball python, a ferret, three dogs, fishes, cats etc. well obviously not all in my home but between the kids dads house and my home we have many pets and This is where we shop for our pets. Shout out to Lindy, Ashley and Jeff for always making me smile when I am sad. Outstanding customer services and super helpful when it comes to pet products, we’ve saved hundreds due to their help and is why we will spend hundreds more at their store. Our pets love them! Xoxoxo you guys rock!

Vet clinic at Swampscott inside Vet Co is horrible they were rude and lazy. They did not want to take my pet because she had a little growl. Ridiculous rude vet as well as vet tech will not be back please do not bring your pet here worst experience ever never going back lost a loyal customer. Also have horrible services please if you care about your pet avoid at all costs. Also traveld 30 minutes each way just to find out she couldn’t be vaccinated Insane this place really sucks.

Robin (I hope that’s the correct name and spelling for the the groomer at the Swampscott location) was amazing! Super informative and has a very calm energy, which I think my dog appreciated. Robin recommend a specific shampoo due to my dogs allergies and it worked great! I mentioned that my dog will be a part of my wedding this coming Saturday and that I needed him smelling super clean and he does! I’m super happy with the service, will be returning and highly recommend!

Got 2 guinea pigs and a bearded dragon the dragon was well trained didn't have stretch marks or folds from weightloss or malnourishment the lady with the glasses and her buddy from 2/10/23 Night shift was very knowledgeable of everything the guinea pigs were I'm great health and well trained for hand time by far petco has went above and beyond every animal I've got wether it was a mouse reptile or guinea pig they're all tamed and well taken care of and trained I usually get stuck with animals from petco that require hand training or they're malnourished but this specific petco goes above and beyond my fiance and I loves this place its simple easy and painless if I can give 10 stars I definitely would this place is worth it every penny and they help you get sales and insurances on your pet aswell to assure the best quality of life if you or your family wants to go get another addition to your family go here hands down 😁😁😁

They always have what I need and we just found out my Mom's cat has a stomach issue, and they saved me money by helping me choose digestive food, and happily, Cookie hasn't been I'll in 2 weeks when she was sick every 2 days for a while before! Thanks Petco, your customer care is wonderful!

Wonderfully knowledgeable, dedicated, friendly, professional staff! This location offers cat/dog booster shots and has a grooming facility on the premises. It's fun to be able to watch grooming in progress through large windows from the checkout line. Decent (if not mind-blowing) selection.

My dog was so clean and smelled so good! I had just rescued him and he came up on a long transport ride from South Carolina with a bunch of other dogs. To say the least, they smelled pretty bad and I tried bathing him and it only helped a little. Petco (Robin) did an excellent job!

Place was small but associates were Very Friendly and helpful. Fish tanks were clean and had plenty of fish. All seemed healthy. Bought 6 fish tonight. 5hink they said they have a 30 days health guarantee.

What I love about this Petco is the employees that work there truly love animals. Over the last six years we have purchased three sets of two mice ( unfortunately much to the Heartbreak of my daughters they don't live very long). And because of those furry-friend loving employees, Daredevil, Spike, Chocolate, Vanilla, Chicken and Nugget all have had a special place in our home and our hearts! Also, the facts that they carry and stock practically everything related to having pets and are open late are big bonuses too.

Dropped off my dog for grooming and right when i walked in Robyn gave me a warm geeting and helped alot she explained everything since it was my first time there. Once i picked up my dog she updated me on how he did which he did great for his first time. And also told me of a few noticeable things on his fur which i appreciate. And the other staff their helped me with the petco app and gave me a few tips to save more money!! They both made my first experience great and a plus that they are animal lovers. It really shows how genuine they are! Will be taking my dog again, Thank you! ❤ 🐾

They always have everything I need.. I am in and out when on the go, and the associates are always ready to help even when it's busy, and they are quick and attentive to necessary pet clean-ups.. accidents..lol. I love how the cans are always facing the same way.. that shows acute care! Everything is always so clean!

Went in to buy a nerite snail. Kudos to the salesperson who asked me about my tank size and how long it had been set up, as nerites need a seasoned tank with enough algae. It's a nice addition to my blue dream shrimp tank.

Friendly, helpful staff. Good on the basics. They are my go to for fast catfood runs or to pick up litter quickly. There are grooming services for dog folks. Parking is free and wheelchair accessible.
