This place is a joke. I was told they called my vet regarding current animals they stated the vet said there was no record of my dog. When I called my vet they stated no one contacted them. They also stated they left a message on my phone and when i asked about it further they stated they called the number on the app. They gave me a bogus number with first 3 digits off. What they didnt realize is that i took a screen shots of the app and it did have the correct number on it..better off going through paws watch or petsmart

Thanks to all the amazing staff here, we adopted a dog in need of a home and welcomed her into our family. Everyone here was so friendly, helpful and professional, and gave us all the resources we needed to care for our new pet. The adoption process was easy and hassle-free and the shelter itself was very clean and well-run. Would highly recommend this place to anyone looking to rescue a shelter pet. If I could, I'd give this place 100 stars! Truly excellent!

We went in looking to potentially rescue a dog. However the dogs were a little large for my daughter. The staff was awesome! The facility was very clean and well Kept. The animals appeared healthy and were receiving top of the line care. It's an animal shelter, please check it out and consider making a donation to support their cause!

HORRID animal shelter that refuses to rightfully return dogs back to their original breeders breaking contracts! This shelter only cares about getting the adoption fees and donations from rare breeds. It’s disgusting that a shelter cares so little about the well-being of the dogs that come in.

Facility is very clean and the animals(I just saw the cats) they look very healthy and clean.The staff was very helpful and caring and professional.PS I have had my cat for a week and a half. I am so happy with Her! My new BFF ❤

I adopted a young cat almost a year ago named Ozzy so my other cat, Zen, could have a Friend. They LOVE each other and i could not be any happier! You guys were great! I wish I could send you some pictures of Ozzy but I'm not sure how!! He is a VERY loving cat! Literally couldn't have worked out any better! Thank you guys! This shelter is easy to find and very clean! Full of friendly people and great little companions who need forever homes! Don't shop..Adopt!

I adopted a beautiful cat last week from here. The staff is amazing. The shelter is immaculately clean. All of the pet cages are well taken care of and the pets are very healthy. I would highly recommend Scituate Animal Shelter.

I just got my first cat in over 20 years. Scituate Animal Shelter was very helpful. The facility is very clean and staff is professional and courteous. The animals are well cared for. Highly recommend getting a rescue animal

I've owned dogs & cats all my life but trying to adopt either at this shelter is very difficult. And I would never put an animal in harms way. I have bird & squirrel abodes placed around my yard & in the trees. All I want is a companion for my aging dog. My 2 cats died a year ago, age 20 & 21....

These people have my service dog and told me I could have my service dog and then I tried to make an appointment to get her they said I harassed them by trying to get an appointment to retrieve my service dog. These people are horrible. I have ptsd, hypoglycemia, seizures, panic attacks ect . These people put my life in danger and don't care how much they cause pain! Damion kirksey stole my service dog and abused her and gave her to this shelter. He blackmailed me!

I wanted to adopt a cat. So I visited Scituate night animal shelter to see what they had. I adopted a cat that was supposed to have shots be nutered etc. This cat had nothing done. Had to bring her back to get her fixed. And the cat attacks people and me. But because I love animals I keep her hoping she will change. This cat has been abused seriously. My feeling is that if I brought her back she would be put down.

I've been volunteering at the shelter for about 9 years. This place has been great resource for local communities. Not only they help finding new homes for homeless animals, they also runs low cost pet care day, senior resident program, and TNR feral cats.

Wonderful shelter. A very caring and compassionate staff. The conditions are as immaculate as can be expected. They try as hard as they can to make certain the animals are well cared for and matched to people who will care for them.

A wonderful place, they helped me spay my Kitty we found and even gave her all her shots. This place was extremely clean and the staff there were very friendly and helpful.

They make adopting an animal extremely difficult. I filled out the application & they called my references and not even a month later when we found a cat we were interested in, they said they lost my paperwork and would have to redo it all and call back my references.

Great place, great staff.. I adopted my Cat from SAS. When covid-19 hit they kept a pet food pantry for people who could use a helping hand. Love this place.

While I was being treated for breast cancer in Charleston SC my neighbor opened her home to care for my heart, O’Malley-an adult tuxedo but surrendered him without my knowledge threatening to throw him out the car window if they did not take him. I have adopted 2 Portuguese podango's from them both of them are the most loving and affectionate animals I have had the pleasure of sharing my life with the staff are awesome and I toured the entire facility and I couldn't tell I was in a animal shelter absolutely clean I would like to adopt again as long as I am able 😊 😁 😁😀😀😂😂
