To start I will say the most clean market I’ve ever been in wow this place was spotless, every shelve was stock nothing on the floor. Some nice music playing just beautiful I wanted to shop all day. Food from every country if you need something you will find it here. Even had my kid’s favorite boba milk tea I use to have to go to super 88 in Chinatown for that drink( can version really good). Something for Thé people amazing price on meat specially the price of steak, the T-bone steak was less than 6$.

Went here looking for the Tajin salt and a worker was very welcoming, pleasant and helpful to bring me straight to the isle it was in..also the cashier that checked out my item was very pleasant..the grocery store is very clean and well stocked..I had a pleasant experience and will definitely return.

Few words, I want to go back the atmosphere, the people, was so relaxing and welcoming meeting people of other states and the convo was unavoidable and enjoyable 😀 make sure to take something to cover up after the water can cold? Don’t bring food they had lots of it, save som scarps for the 🐟 to feed for the kids who are not able to swim too far

This is my closest grocery store and it is wonderful! Very convenient and clean. There will also a brand new Marriott Hotel opening soon across the street from it with other stores on the main floor. My only negative here is that it does not cater to vegan or vegetarian tastes at all.

Brilliant produce section with tons of difficult to find root vegetables. Prices are top notch as well. In the meats, there is a very good set of lesser cuts that are often not carried by the main chain grocers, for example stomach and liver. The frozen section here is a really nice way to stock up for lazy weeknight meals and the hot sauce selection was big enough to spend half an hour looking at. What I miss here is a better fish section, and maybe better signage. I’ll be back!

The workers here are very rude to white people. Most of the time they won't even talk to you to tell you your total when checking out or ask if you want a bag, which are basic customer service skills. Most of their produce is rotten or just about rotten. This is not a good place to shop if you want people who are even half way friendly or if you want decent quality produce. Avoid this place.

An oasis in the desert. There is such a wonderful selection. Tamales and fried catfish for days thanks to all the corn meal.This caters largely to Caribbean cuisine, but it does have a variety of other offerings.

This grocery store carries a different array of African products. I was able to find an all natural palm fruit extract same as usual "palm oil" but less processed. The product Chizzy Banga is exceptional, cooking my egusi soup with this product me of back home. I'm never going back to using other highly processed palm oils again.

I love this place. The workers there a very hospitable and always willing to help. The president of tropical foods is amazing and he has an awesome personality. If You're searching for something and can't find it The owners will do their best to put it on the shelf.One of the things in this supermarket that you won't find anywhere else is the nutritional facts chart posted over the meat.

Great place lots of great products very nice staff great prices on Meats and a great selection of Spanish foods the prices for me at this location tropical foods are amazing compared to Stop & Shop try it you won't be disappointed just remember to bring your own shopping bag they charge 18 cents for one again don't waste your time buying your meat anywhere else the prices are incredible if you want to save money on Meats you must go to tropical foods just picked up a dozen wings for $8 compared to stop and shop wanted $18 great place to buy Meats and it seems that prices are going down that's something stay that way

I love Tropical Foods market; they have just about any Caribbean product you might need. The only thing is if you're in need of Dettol, then forget it as the store is constantly sold out within minutes of getting new shipment. But, you can get Dr.Johnson (a water downed version) for the same price. I'll tell you in advance to save your money and just get to the store before it opens when the next shipment arrives.

This place has the worst employee, and the cashier's are rude and have attitudes especially the females, it's like they are mad that you can I'm the store, their hire a bunch of little girls who are unprofessional. The male employees are just as rude.

The store is clean, but the meat items aren't always the freshest. You need to double check the dates on each package. Other than that, great variety of food items.Staff are very helpful and bilingual, which is helpful.

Love this variety of imported hard to find foods. I go there once a month to pick up my favorite specialty foods. The only issue I have is they are so busy no on ever answers incoming calls, a majority of the the employees who stock shelves aren't English speaking or familiar with inventory items. But I will continue to shop for my favorite foods.

The new building is amazing. I have been going to Tropical Foods for over 40 years. There store used to be compact and it was hard to maneuver two carts passing each other. I came to Boston to visit my mom and I was floored with the improvements.

This place is way overpriced. It's like they're ripping off the community. When they were in the old building prices were competitive, but decent. As soon as they got the shiny new building, prices skyrocketed. $6.19 for a 24 pk of Poland Springs water when most grocery stores charge $3-4.
