Pancakes and eggs were generally good, but not really special in any way.Perhaps, though, my perception of the food was influenced by the generally unkept restaurant conditions. I understand the "old school" charm argument that can make any older restaurant seem more "quaint."But this place is not quaint when the paint is peeling off the walls and the seats are duct taped together and the restrooms are dirty and musty smelling.I know many of the reviews on here have been very favorable about the food but I just didn't have that experience at all. At a minimum, they should update the place. Doesn't need to be fancy in any way, but at least clean the place up.

Good food, friendly staff. But the front wall with a large glass window needs a carpenter's attention. It's precariously leaning out tword the pk.lot. That's why Ialways sit at the counter or on the other side of the restaurant.Parking: Gravel parking lot, uneven. Watch footing for elderly customers.

Another great Rowley local breakfast/lunch spot. Very basic/plain atmosphere, however the service is fantastic, very nice; quick & attentive. Prices are very reasonable and they have extensive offerings; Specials boards (20+ items) and menu, and they are very accomodating regarding offering changes. Coffee, tea and juices are basic, nothing fantastic but ok. Portions are large.A favorite breakfast is the sausage gravy & biscuits (either 1/2 or whole biscuits). This can be ordered with/without eggs and delicious lightly seasoned golden, crispy home fries. The omelets here are also delicious, plumply filled, cooked perfectly with plenty of choices. Lunch here is equally as satisfying.They take cash/cards. Plenty of parking.

Some friends and I meet here for breakfast frequently and we are always greeted by the friendly folks at Simard's and have become regulars! The food here is consistent and tasty and you can't beat the prices and local community atmosphere. Love it here!

Great local place. Very friendly and attentive staff. I love the thin omelets packed with fresh ingredients. Always busy but never a wait. It's worth driving to.

Simard's is one of those places that serves up a whole lot of comfort food at great prices. I can't keep away from their American Chop Suey, or club sandwiches for lunch, amd of your looking for a great breakfast you've come to the right place. Big portions, reasonable prices, and service with a smile is on the daily menu! Lots of old school charm in this roadside cafe!

Best breakfast around by a long shot. Simard's is a friendly family owned restaurant with quick service with a smile. Didn't even know they serve lunch also! Gonna have to stop in one day and try it. recommend for sure.

This place doesn't look like much from the outside but they have good food , large portions and great prices.. very friendly staff and fast service...my new favorite lunch spot (it's so much more than just breakfast)
