Nice relaxing place to eat lunch with my wife

My sons cat went missing a couple of days ago and we couldn’t find her. Tonight my wife called me out of work to let me know that the neighbors notified her that our cat was hit a couple of days ago and they didn’t have our number to let us know that the dog officer Rob picked up our cat, knowing it was our cat and took her away and left it up to our neighbors to notify us.Then I found out that not only did he leave his responsibility of notifying us to our neighbors but then decided to cremate our cat with other cats because his freezer broke where he would normally store animals that are recovered until the rightful owners are found to pick the animal up to figure out what the owner would want to do with the body. Instead of Rob notifying us 1) that he picked up our cat 2 days ago without notifying us 2) decided to cremate our cat with other cats because his freezer broke and again, didn’t notify us.I think between Rob running a landscaping business on top of being a professional dog officer may be a little too much to juggle. How someone could be so careless and thoughtless of another person’s animal is beyond me. Might be a good idea for the town to look into finding a different dog officer as simple things such as making a simple phone call to let the animals owner know that not only did there cat get hit by a car (after the owner was looking for her for 2 days) but to cremate our cat with other cats should and really needs to be not only addressed by the town but at least some type of disciplinary action taken. What an embarrassment.

Don't bother. The ACO is MIA. And the building looks deserted. God help the animals in their care.
