We just had my baby shower at the Mountainside Bakery and Cafe and could not have had a more perfect venue! The charm of the house and the huge windows for sunlight to come in really brightened up a cold winter day. The team was so easy to work with and the food and desserts were absolutely delicious! I would recommend anyone looking for a baby shower venue checks out Mountainside!

Great little cafe by Mount Wachusett! This area doesn’t have many local coffee shops so it was really nice when this opened. The staff are always super friendly, both breakfast and lunch are delicious and there’s plenty of nice seating inside and out. When they first opened finding parking was tough but they noticed and expanded their parking which has been amazing!!

I had a fantastic visit to this cafe after spending the morning hiking up Wachusett. This cafe is the perfect post hike or bike ride stop. Great outdoor seating and lots of hot drinks and well made comfort food. I recommend the soups, salads, and Mac and cheese. Sandwiches look great but I only got 1 stomach. Yes, I did put that much hot sauce on the Mac and cheese and proceeded to eat all of it. Was it amazing? Yes. Did it give me a little heartburn? Also, yes. That’s why I keep the Tums on deck. My only complaint is they were out of focaccia when I arrived, but that was only about 30 minutes before the kitchen was scheduled to close on one of the busiest days of the year and focaccia is awesome so I understand how that could happen. Will be back.

Excellent home made food. Beautiful Mountain views. Ambiance of old New England. I HIGHLY RECCOMMEND. They serve breakfast and lunch. Specially sandwiches with a home style bakery good.Kid-friendliness: Outdoor options in beautiful weather. Kids. An run around.

Awesome little bakery and coffee shop to stop at while in the area.They have indoor as well as outdoor seating. I got a maple Blueberry bundt cake to take with me on my hike up to the top of Mt. Wachusett. It was delicious and worth the wait to eat it at the top with a beautiful view. I also lucked out and was there the day that they had just made sticky buns so I took one home with me.

What a fantastic place!! It is warm, cosy, and refined. We came on an October afternoon after hiking around Mt Wachusett. It's a beautiful, well-appointed place. The staff were efficient and friendly. There was a warming fire in the fireplace. I had one of the very best grilled-cheese sandwiched in my life. Light and delicious. My wife had a sort of tortilla soup, which was fantastic. Sophisticated fare for what you would expect from a roadside cafe. I sure hope to be back many times. Mt Wachusett itself wasn't the most incredible hiking but I'll come back to this area for the Mountainside Bakery alone.

This place has great food and a cozy old fashioned decor. There is plenty of seating with a mix of armchairs and sofas. They serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Some good options for vegetarians, but limited vegan selections. There are more options on the paper menu than the ones on the wall. Also, parking lot is very dark, so be careful.

This is one of my favorite spots, especially now in their new location. As a vegetarian I really appreciate their yummy salads that actually have whole grains and substance - I never leave hungry! They also have really good coffee and the fact that they bake all their goodies in house shows, everything I've tried has been awesome. On some nights we sit by the fire and enjoy a cocktail/food or when I'm busy I'll just grab food to go. ...Update: We just went and grabbed beers and a cheese board picnic and sat outside on one of their picnic tables. Perfect outdoor dining during covid! We also left with cinnamon rolls and ice cream. Soooo good.

We went on a leaf peeping road trip In October with my parents and happened upon this cute bakery and coffee shop. Service was really friendly and they even had gluten free bread options for my husband. We all loved our pastries, I had the donut muffin. Picnic table outside to enjoy the outdoors was delightful. Highly recommend!!

I ordered turkey and fixings for our small Thanksgiving gathering. Everything was excellent. All made from scratch. Very tasty. Good size servings. The pies were a huge hit also. Love this gem in Princeton.

First time here. Love it. Coffee was good and good tasty breakfast teeth and good. Great small new England town atmosphere. It's an old time house converted into a Coffee breakfast establishment. Nice different rooms and seating available. Nice outdoor atmosphere with fire pits and andridrack chairs and nice views of area around Wachusett mountain. It's minutes from the mountain. Will be going there again

What a nice spot! Especially after a hike up the mountain. Got there first thing as they opened right after a sunrise hike, it was just what we needed. Friendly faces with great coffee and excellent baked goods. We also had a couple of breakfast sandwiches which were very good as well. My gf said hers was a little too salty, it's a matter of taste I think. Also the prices are slightly high, but it's because of the freshness I would assume since their menu is new every day.

This was such a cute place to have lunch. The food was amazing, the atmosphere and history inside the building was awesome. Loved how they transformed the space but still kept the essence of its past. My family and I relaxed outside, which had social distanced table seating on the front lawn. They delivered the food to the seat and the service was great. Can't wait to enjoy this place again
