We recently purchased a tool box from Home Depot. The only store that had it in stock was Pittsfield, MA. We had to purchase it online under the impression that they could deliver. We had some trouble purchasing it online. With the assistance of two of your employees, Tabiyah, and Jeremy. Who by the way were very professional, knowledge, as well extremely patient and personable. We were out of their delivery zone. Although they compensated us for this inconvenience. We had to pick it up. Just wanted to say we appreciate all of the help we received from this store and the employees.

The lady at cash register #2 over in the wood pro lumber section name petrica is very very miserable & completely RUDE .Please remove her from her job that she does not seem to like.Very very very push & RUDE.I wish we could check out else where

Home Depot I have purchased many appliances from you. I have a freezer that is parent company Electrolux Frigidaire it has been broken since 2 weeks before Thanksgiving I've been jumping through every single hoop that the Electrolux or A&E have put in front of me very disappointed. Like I said still broken. Head liaison is on that reached out to me I think she's left..Adding to the horror story Home Depot I asked for help and you're ignoring me #Electrolux is a product you sell do you know that they don't back there warranties they don't care about the customers who are dealing with broken appliances still broken brand new freezer two weeks before Thanksgiving last year. Had an appointment scheduled for today yes took the day off and everything so excited finally getting my freezer fixed. They called and canceled yet again and you want me to buy Electrolux products

We waited all day for a materials delivery. At 6:28 PM, we received a call that the delivery truck had broken down. We were informed we’d have to wait another 5 days to receive the drywall thus delaying closing up the walls for this job. When I asked to speak with the manager, he was unaware of the problem.

I've had hit and miss moments with the staff here, but Dave in the Paint Department is absolutely awesome! He was very helpful and pleasant throughout my numerous encounters with him. He was equally as knowledgeable on their array of products. I hope next time I need assistance he's around or retired enjoying life!

Paint Staff were rude and acted like they knew more than they do giving poor/ incorrect advice. Then proceeded to argue there product suggestion, to convince an old woman to buy merchandise different from what she wanted/ needed for the job. Afterwords made rude remarks regarding the customer. Employees like this ruin a good businesses main function.

Scheduled a pickup 5 hours in advance only to get there and the item was never retrieved from out back . This is the second or third time I’ve had this happened to me in the Pittsfield store and no one ever seems to care .service desk needs to have better service .

This is a very nice Home Depot, always clean and well organized, with helpful assistance easy to find. The Berkshires is lucky to have this excellent store in such a convenient spot.

The employees here are iffy. Today, when I was making a return, the universe was shining upon me with good luck, and I had a great employee. Cashier Dylan was super friendly, very capable, and the process went very quickly. I couldn't be happier with the transaction. However, unfortunately that is the exception to my experiences here. My last visit I knew exactly what I needed, the price, the website indicated that there were a bunch in stock. I just did not know the location. The website said free delivery (price was $124+ tax). I figured bc it was over $100 the delivery was free. I have a minivan, which lacks trunk space, with car seats, the folding down option is a big inconvenience. It would be much easier for delivery, than to hurt myself or break anything. The 2 employees "Greeting" me upon walking in, assured me that the delivery would NOT be free, the website was wrong, it would cost $75 additional dollars! Naturally my cell phone chose the time it took to walk inside to die, at that point I should have just walked out. But I asked if one could help me put it in my van, and he said it wouldn't be an issue, and then I asked where they were please. He directed me to the total opposite end of the store. After hiking back to civilization, finding an employee that was nice enough to direct me to the real location, and then get there, I dragged the bin, and pushed the cart I had to the register. It was a struggle, while many employees just watched me struggle with the behemoth, I did have a nice fellow shopper ask if I needed any help. The employee that said he would help did not look so happy that I found him and called him out on his scenic route to get to where I needed, and that I intended to hold him to that promise to load the trash bin into my van. I was also running late to get my daughter from Pre-K, and it's at least 20 mins to get to her school, after his stunt, which upset me more. He struggled to load this titanic into my van, maybe the website was wrong, maybe it wasn't. But he wouldn't even ask anyone else, like customer service to check. He didn't even know the price of what I was purchasing. I don't enjoy it when employee(s) just assume a customer is a pushover, and will 1) pay the extra money; or 2) just take their word and not check elsewhere. I try not to shop there at all, I go to Buster's Ace Hardware. They're so much better, no shady employees, they take the time to explain something if you need it, and not talk down to you if you're female. Home Depot is exactly the opposite of this, they can learn a valuable lesson from this family owned hardware store.

Check the price at check out. Everytime, there is always a discrepancy with the price shown and what it rings up at. The lumber is moist, moldy, & warped that pressure treated wood. I even saw earwigs crawling.

It is the year 2023 and this Home Depot location does not have tap to pay as an option to make purchases in store.There is nothing more frustrating than filling a shopping cart for a home improvement job and then having to go home and find a physical bank card because Home Depot does not do Tap to Pay.

I always have a great experience in this store the employees are super helpful! adam in lumber is a real shining star I told him what I wanted to do for my project he helped me find the right wood and cut it perfectly he also gave me a super encouraging boost saying "you got this", and bill in paint is litterally a saint! Super kind so helpful and he really knows his paint which is so hugely helpful, I never felt so validated in my paint experience as I did after talking to him every brand is different so go to bill he knows the know.

06-15-2023 at 5pm Bought 85 dollars worth of lumber went to self checkout paid cash machine owed 10.11 machine gave me the .11 but not the 10 dollars got a manager he said next day when they do an audit I'd get the money back had to make a second trip for it and waste my time! DEMAND A CASHIER DO NOT USE SELF CHECKOUT!

I visited this location on tax free weekend, 2022. My step daughter needed every appliance for the kitchen and laundry room. All associates were super busy given the tax free event and sales on top of that. I was searching for someone to help us with our purchase as it was the last day of the event and I didn’t want to miss out. The associates in the kitchen department were all busy with other customers. The assistant store manager, Dan, happened to walk over in the area and was able to help us with our order. He put my delivery address is in NY in the computer which caused the tax free on the items to fall off, but he made sure we still purchased our items for the same cost as if the tax wasn’t charged. Dan was very personable, calm, and collective with all the commotion going on around him in the store. He has a great personality and we couldn’t be happier with our experience because of him!!

I had been shopping at this home Depot for years. Spent thousands of dollars. But today they got to me. I was looking for special tool. The kid in the tool department had no idea what that tool was. On the way out I picked up some items on sale. They didn't show the right price at the self checkout. The stocky girl at the self checkout, Tabitha, started arguing with me. Didn't want to go across the aisle to see items on sale. So I went back took two photos of the items and brought it to her. That did not convince her so she called that same kid from the department. then he went back checked it out came back and told her the price I was trying to get. All this time (20 min or so) she never apologized once, only trying to rationalize her behavior. On the way out I was leaving through a different entrance.I was stopped by another girl who demanded to see the receipt and inside of my bag.Now this is what service means today at home Depot.Now in may23.I got 2 text messages saying store pickup was canceled. Call the store. I did 3 times. No one knows anything. It's a fr...g disaster this store.

Came to deliver 5 pallets of straw at 6am. There's a mid aged black guy in receiving, and he was talking to me like I was his employee and refused to open dock door to get unloaded because he was upset he was the only.person in recieving. That's not anybodies fault, but Home Depot!!! FYI, I'm not kissing nobody rear end to be offloaded. This is insane!

This review is more about the repair services or lack of. We purchased a GE washer which stopped working 2 weeks after installation and have been waiting 3 months for the repair person Thomas Appliance to show up. Home Depot tells us there is nothing they can do we have to contact GE Warranty. FInally..well maybe a different repair company will arrive in late December. We would not have purchased a GE washer if we had known this would have taken this long! In the future will will NOT buy appliances thru Home Depot.

I’ve been going there since the store opened, although there is only one register open most of the time but the people who work there are always very helpful & friendly ...Note this !!! While the rest of us were Home / looking out the window hiding from COVID-19 , Many of the people you see there working now , they been there working from start of the Pandemic, and they are still there today ...,Although not everyone has answers To each question or situation, but They always find someone who does. Bingo problem solved ...šŸ‘šŸ‘šŸ‘

Although I have had mixed experiences in the past with this home depot and haven't been there in over a year we decided to go buy a dishwasher recently and I just wanted to mention Sam (our associate) by name.... When I called the day before about delivery (Had not heard from the 3rd party delivery service the day before expected delivery) not only did he give me the number to call myself he actually called and spoke with them while I was on hold to make sure he got me confirmed! Above and beyond especially in this day and age where customer service is severely lacking it was awesome to receive that level of service locally - thanks again Sam we will be back just because of you!

Ordered some tiles online. Picked up the order in the store and they gave me half the tiles. The box clearly said ā€œ2 of 2ā€. The associate would not even walk over to the shelf to check for the other box. 13.5 sqft of 18ā€ tiles on order and clearly there was 6.75 sq ft in front us. She said she couldn’t do anything to get the other box and i would have call online if i wanted to get the other box. Really poor customer service.

one star is even too generous. The staff is lazy, doesn’t do their job. All the girls at the Pro desk sit around flirting, arguing, and making their employees around them do their work for them, and play on their devices when even when they clearly see someone needs assistance. A man by the name of Brad was kind enough to help with what i needed when i asked one of the girls, Emily, and didn’t get a response, a glance, or even a ā€œi’ll be with you in a secondā€. She straight up ignore my ask for help but Brad was luckily there to help me find what i needed. If you need anything from this store go to Brad. He’s the only one that seems to know how to do his job in the entire store. and home depot i suggest you get some staff that actually does their job

I met an amazing employee..... Will Smith I believe he said his name was.... He helped me find what I was looking for and then walked me to the next area I needed to go. Gave me advice on what drill to buy, then helped the next woman waiting for his time. What an amazing employee. I always get great service at Home Depot but he was just amazing.
