Watch your expiration dates especially on the meats. They will sell meats that are very close to their sell by dates. Bought a package of center cut pork chops on a Monday. Just went to use them from the frig and the sell by date was the date I bought them. 3 days past. Probably fine but not to me. Usually I look at the dates but this one got by me. 😡They especially do this with their sale items. Buyer beware. I like Market 32, but I may have to change stores.

this is the second time I went to Market 32 around 3:00 the chicken tinders was really really dry over cooked or something but overall the lady that helped me was super nice she had a big smile and I was happy about that. But the tenders were lacking.my girlfriend told me if they keep this up we're not going back there..

Against my better judgement, I went there for just one thing. They didn't have it so I tried to leave. While trying to leave they tagged me as a shoplifter and disabled the wheels of my empty shopping cart. I left the cart blocking the door where they stopped it.And the checkout lines are STILL down the aisles.

Open 24/7. Clean, organised, large sitting area available 24/7. I think it used to be Price chopper when I was here a couple of years ago. Nice interior redesigning. Bathroom could be bigger though.

Terrible experience. Almost entire produce section is out of stock of essential items. No bananas. No strawberries. No raspberries. Disgusting and dirty empty shelves. Self check out machines are tiny - about the size of two milk gallons with no separation space for social distancing. There were teenage and college-aged individuals playing with produce bag balloons with no masks on. Customers ignorant to one-way aisles. No staff in sight. Store is almost always overrun and crowded with customers - no doubt over capacity. No electric vehicle charging in the whole plaza. Parking lot riddled with pot holes. I’d rather drive an hour to upstate New York to get groceries.

Well they were right when they said Market 32 is no longer a discount store.Prices keep going up,product shrinks.Their potato chips were 2/5 dollars,now they’re 2.69 a bag.And the bags are smaller.Yep they didn’t lie saying it’s no longer a discount store!

They have a huge selection and very friendly helpful staff. Excellent experience- and kudos to the helpful woman who custom made us 4 salads for gluten free guests. Highly recommend

An excellent market. The bakery is a treasure. The wine/beer section is extensive. Very nice to do,your grocery and entertaining shopping all at once. The checkout wait can be extensive and there is little room to lineup easily. The variety will bring you back to shop.

I can’t even put into words how satisfied I was with Chelsea the florist at Market 32z I had a vision, met with her, and the surprise on my wedding day was PERFECT. She set everything up, and prepared it all even more beautiful than I could have ever imagined. Chelsea is flexible, accommodating, affordable and AMAZING. I won’t go anywhere else and will continue to send future brides her way!

After our second year shopping here we are unfortunately done giving this store our money until they are able to solve some glaring issues.The pros:The bakery - great selection of fresh breads, fresh donuts and bagels, and beautiful disgustingly sweet cakes and cookies if you're into thatThey have beautiful floral arrangments and some nice seasonal houseplantsThe produce - can be hit or miss, but they generally have a good selection of seasonal produce. Be careful with their berries and avocados. They sometimes carry some exceptional brands of clementines and cherries depending on the season, and often carry good local produce.We have never had a bad experience with a staff member. Most of the staff are very friendly and helpful.The cons:The fish department is not great. Mostly farmed fish from sketchy countries, and it has always had a strong fish smell so we stopped buying awhile ago, especially not worth it how expensive it is.The meat department is almost single-handedly the reason why we are no longer shopping here, and why I almost went vegan. 5 times in 5 months we have gotten home from this place, immediately ripped open a package and gotten spoiled meat, even stuff that has a very lenient best by date, has been spoiled. Not sure if they are improperly storing their meats or if they are marking their dates wrong, but it's just blantantly unacceptable. Not only is it a huge waste of time, and throws a big wrench in our dinner plans, but it is also upsetting because of the preventable food waste.This place waits until the last day to mark down their food. Literally. The day it should be used by or sold by, it finally gets marked down. If you buy it, it is always 100% bad, if you don't buy it, it goes in the dumpster. This is the case with prepackaged foods, meats, perishables, etc. Animals live in horrible conditions just to end up in the garbage. Shame on this place. This is one of the few places in pittsfield that you can get certified humane meats, but whats the point when meat just ends up in the trash anyway??? Whoever is in charge of the meat department should be thrown out themselves.

The best variety of everything for this community is here. I must also add that Tyler and the food court area always goes above and beyond to to help. I had a special New Year's function and ordered special delights. He put so much time and Care into this as he has done for me with other things. I wish market 32 had a thousand of him. Thank you Tyler for making the holiday special. Thank you market 32 for hiring a great employee.

This place always has such a logjam at the registers for checking out. Even the self checkout is a nightmare. I don’t know if it’s the store flow or what it is but I have legit waited for 30-40 minutes to checkout at This store on more than one occasion and because of This we have almost exclusively shopped elsewhere. I went on New Year’s Eve and had to grab 3 items for a dinner side and the checkout line was down every aisle and I said forget it. I put the items back and walked out. Went to big y at west st and was in and out in 5 minutes even with what seemed like a similar amount of shoppers present. Maybe it’s the fact that such a minimal amount of registers are operating and 12 self checkouts are going. I understand a labor shortage exists but New Year’s Eve and 4 registers isn’t enough. Big y had 10 going plus self checkout and it was super quick!

Fish department - I purchasedCod fillets at $12 per pound & pan fried it as usual. Fillets pretty much fall apart Although I try to flip them carefully. Fish Smell was overwhelming. – my house stunk 2 later .. My company was not impressed, so I threw the rest out on the lawn for our wildlife to enjoy .. next morning the smelly fish was still there, with only half a dozen flies buzzing around it.Fresh fish does not STINK .Otherwise the store is OK, - I do most of my shopping there, -

Has an interesting selection and brands you won't find at other local grocery chains. But it is expensive, really expensive. Ok to hit up once in awhile for a special occasion.

This is a beautiful store. Employees are really friendly and helpful, and the prepared foods are well priced and quite good. My only complaint would be the lack of bags at the self checkout station, especially for those coming in for a quick bite to eat (or who have just a few things) and don't have their reusable bags with them.

Nice, I liked it ... Although I can't say I've been wowed by this chain in general I think they are a good grocery store with an adequate selection, I can't seem to find a reason for them to stand out good or bad. Good job I think?

How you passed the serve safe is beyond me. Today (4/19/23) I got food poisoning from the cold meatballs in the premade section. 4 hours after eating them I felt severely nauseous and an hour later I puked up what was probably a gallon of vomit. I didn't eat or do anything differently, except the meatballs.

... A WORD OF CAUTION...Thier food fare department / cooked food department, within market 32 is a hard spot to get service. The people working there are more concerned with stocking the shelves than attending to the costumer. Sad!. So we finally get service and they are selling under cooked Pork. So went to the manager. He was highly upset and concerned so, he went back and inspected the pork. Told the staff to pull it off the display table." It's under cooked." The manager wants things done right where, the staff either don't care or don't know. Be careful when buying from here the cooked meats. They might not be cooked properly.

Prices on sale items are very good, non sale items can be pricey. Plethora of wine and liquor selections. Great Meat selection. Very busy store but lines move right along. Reduced hours on bottle returns. Bring your own bags and coupons.

We're out-of-town people, and we appreciated being able to purchase groceries and liquor in the same place. Prices are comparable to home, so very pleased with that. Quality products and friendly staff.

Excellent store, huge selection. Great prices and the gas points are a huge plus. They make the best Pulled Pork. Huge produce selection, wonderful artisan breads. Usually a good selection of discounted meats. Extremely affordable feminine products. We absolutely miss living near Market 32. Hoping they will open one in the Pioneer Valley/Springfield area.

Very attractive, clean, spacious, recently renovated store is nicer than other outdated stores in town. But prices are sometimes better in the older alternatives. Large beer/wine department also a plus. Pretty much back to normal after pandemic as of 3/2022.June '22: prices up like elsewhere but still well stocked.

I like the store overall especially for fresh fish and meats. I do however try to not shop any local supermarket for staples or canned goods. It is so much more convenient to order on line no crowds no need to worry if you have a bag with you

Wine selection is average but there are a few upscale selections. Store is organized well. Compared to Whole Foods, there is more mainstream product. The prices are a bit less but these days, food costs are all over the place so comparison shopping is out. Good selection of organic food. Aisles and produce space is wide open. It's a pleasant shopping experience.
