The neighborhood grocery store with fresh fruit & vegetables that serves drip coffee (no espresso), small selection of desserts, breakfast sandwiches and ice cream. If you’re in the area, you should check it out. Not worth the trip to sconset for unless you’re planning to check out the other cute shops around it. They also have a small section sell cute home goods and gifts.

Wonderful place to get last minute items. Plus the ice-cream is to die for! Yummy!

Avoid the pre-made roast beef sandwich at all costs. It's mostly mayo, the two slices of beef are completely gray, and the bread was crumbling. All that for $14.95! If a deli can't make a half decent cold roast beef sandwich for almost 15 bucks, don't bother.

Great selection of treats and staples, just be prepared for the sticker shock, a bottle of water was $4.75. Plenty of picnic tables outside to enjo_ whatever you buy.

They have the BEST carrot cake in the world. I think we come to the island just for the carrot cakes ❤️

Cute little place. It's a little packed in for my taste, but there really isn't a whole lot of retail space anywhere in Sconset. However, I do really recommend a visit to Sconset.

It has the basics you'd expect from a convenience store and a small deli/ice cream selection that's quite good. Also some upscale snack foods, chocolates/sweets, as well as beach toys and souvenirs. The location in the village square is about as idyllic as it gets. Just be advised that it's *very* expensive as is the norm here, but let's face it you didn't pick Nantucket for your vacation because you're on a tight budget. It's my kids' favourite part of an island summer to go for a walk on Siasconset Beach and then get ice cream cones from here and enjoy them at the nearby picnic tables.

If you're in the pro-oatmeal-raisin-cookie camp you are in luck. The carrot cake and 4pm fresh bread are excellent too. Vegetable selection can be good, but not always. The very best part is the gallon of gas not used on an extra trip to town and back!

Sconset Market is undeniably a staple of Sconset, however overpriced it is. We've watched the price of the carrot cake go up over the years, and the size of the slice go down. However, the coffee cake is quite good, especially when fresh. This being said, they have handled the pandemic as well possible, limiting those who can go into the store and on appearance, keeping the staff safe. Please, whatever you do buy, do not buy the Sconset Market brand of anything. We've tried the barbecue sauce, which contains enough vinegar to pickle all the vegetables they sell. Inedible. We were willing to chalk that up to a bad bottling, but then we tried the buttermilk pancake mix and maple syrup, and that was the most dismal excuse for a something in the same genus of a pancake. Tasteless, even when doctored on the second try.

high rating because i liked their ice cream and i cannot stop eating their chocolate seashells i'm in love and wish i got more than 4. that being said, a star knocked off because they're very overpriced at $3/seashell which reminds me why i didn't get more than 4

The staff is friendly, excellent ice cream and good produce. Island prices to be expected, not the place to do your grocery shopping but great to pick up up a last minute item and to grab a souvenir or two.

A good little place to stop and pick up groceries and a t-shirt/hat souvenir to celebrate your visit to Sconset. But the real draw is their excellent ice cream. Pick some up in a dish or cone to enjoy as you walk around the neighborhood or ride your bike. Definitely try the black raspberry.

I used to love going there it was never inexpensive but now under new ownership the prices have gone beyond reason and my means. I used to by bake goods. Interesting friendly store.

Stopped here on a bike ride a few days ago to pick up two sandwiches (roast beef/havarti/horseradish mayo and ham/Swiss/honey mustard) and a large cup of ice cream. The sandwiches are pre-made but still mostly fresh. The bread wasn't great and tasted a bit old but they use lettuce between the bread and sauce to keep the bread from getting soggy which was a good idea. The meat, cheese and condiments were very good. Overall I'd give these sandwiches 3 stars and would probably go with a made-to-order option (e.g. a wrap) next time. The ice cream was amazing and kept this from being a 3-star review. We had a plot of the Mississippi Mud (coffee with oreo chunks) and S'mores. Both were some of the best ice cream I've had in recent memory. The guy taking the order at the window was friendly enough and generally pleasant to interact with.

Best carrot cake on earth. No really, it is. Besides that, the usual Nantucket recipe of long lines, disinterested servers, mediocre everything.
