Groomer shaved my dog after they assured me they would not go too short! I still had to pay the full amount and there was no apologize, just “yeah, I went shorter.” I assumed maybe just inexperienced groomer…Then, they cancelled 3 different times on me, the day of my dog’s appointments. The third time I told them I can’t return. They were too unreliable.I had 1 good groomer once. Will not return here unfortunately. I’m sure there are some good groomers, everyone seems nice, but unfortunately overall they seem unreliable and unskilled.

Definitely recommend this pet store over other places like petco..The staff is friendly, they don’t try to upsell you, and they will try to answer the question if any asked..The store is big and organized .

My pup has completed two courses of training and about to start another 6 week advanced training class. So pleased with his progress. Kat the trainer is so great and her training style is top notch. She makes sure every dog and owner understands the lesson before moving on to the next, we get homework and review what we learned. My pup understands me so much better now, and the socializing with other dogs has been such benefit. Very happy I signed my pup up and absolutely love the trainer, and so does my dog.

Hello to those who are reading this. Avoid getting your pet groom here. My dog has passed away and I’m pretty sure the groomer had something to do with it.Not sure if it was because I didn’t tip much. I usually tip $15. My dog refused to eat or do anything really after his grooming appointment. It was a really sad moment to watch. I’ll avoid getting any grooming done at petsmart. They legit just hire anybody to do it. Some of these employees look mentally unstable to be groomers.

It was fine, they didn’t do anything wrong besides not really listen to what I wanted. I wanted my dogs hair short and brought my other dog to show them his cut. Where he has pretty much shaved with a shorter tail, but a longer round face like a teddy bear cut, and my dog is super ugly now just shaved everywhere. It’s fine their hair grow so fast, she’s just a little rough to look at right now lol. If they were having any difficulties, I wish I would’ve at least got a call to go over options.

The girl, looks like a teenager, in aquarium department seems unhappy about her job. However, for no reason to express her own anger to customers. Starring, dislike, impatient! What’s wrong with her!

I travel to different job sites for work so after getting off, I was overjoyed to unexpectedly come across this PetSmart nearby as I was running low on a specialized food for my ailing pet but I don’t live near a PetSmart so it’s always a bit of travel. Very large, clean, bright, and well stocked! In my opinion, the world has not only gone further downhill with resources/supplies/costs but is more dismissive since the pandemic. Perhaps many are struggling more to care for themselves let alone about others. Whatever it is, I always count my lucky stars when I get great customer service. I usually bring my own bag to avoid waste but coming off work unprepared to shop, I didn’t make a large purchase and wanted to explore the plaza more so I asked the employee apologetically for a bag. To my surprise, the employee was very sweet and kind and dug around to find the nicest sturdiest bag for me! It was so unexpectedly considerate, it really moved me and left me with a wonderful impression of this store. I was a tired hungry walking zombie who looked like a hot mess after a grueling long workday and yet I didn’t get judged, got offered help quickly when I was lost in the aisles, and treated kindly at checkout. I’m so envious of those who live close to this location. If I didn’t live over an hour away, I’d shop this store frequently!

The staff are always friendly and helpful who love on my little dog when I go there.I was looking for a harness for my PomChi and had to bring it right back because it didn't fit well. [My error, getting the wrong size.] The were good about letting me bring it back and get the proper size for her.I love the variety of pet supplies, no matter what you are looking for, you are bound to find it there.

This used to be a great store, I found out a 3 days ago it no longer is. Fish tanks were disgusting, so much algae on the glass you can barely see what's in them. I bought 2 mystery snails & a fish. Got home & found the gold mystery snail was dead & due to the horrendous smell as soon as I opened the bag it had not just recently died. The blue mystery snail ended up having a parasite & died 2 days later. The fish is so far doing ok, so I guess that's a plus. I will never ever purchase anything at this PetSmart again.

Brought my dog to the groomers over here and I have NEVER seen a worse done job. His fur is completely cut up and they did a botched job. I told them to keep as much fur as they could and they just blatantly ignored my wishes and basically cut all of his fur off. So much that the cashier gave us a 20% off coupon for a labrador event happening... he's a golden retriever. All under his ears are red. I don't know what they did to him, but my dog was even hesitant going into the groomers . He is in so much discomfort right now and I am not happy whatsoever with the groomers over in Northborough. I would never come back here again and neither should you.

I was have an appointment at 3pm they tells me in 2 hours she’ll be ready.!! They call 2 hours after to tell me she need 1 hour more to finish.! My dog is a tiny dog! I know they have more appointment to do it! But they need to be more responsibility.! So I feel bad with my pet.! I tells to the grooming that i need the my lil one! And look the picture in 2 hours they only did the bath and the most important things that i was pay for the whole service cause they donde bring the pet to me if o dont pay!!! Dont go to that place now I understand why my dog always feel nervous when she go to that place! In the past i was have in that store an excellent Man he did always excellently job but he is not there anymore!!

Favorite place and specific PetSmart to get Franklin groomed. They are very knowledgeable (my pup has some sensitive skin and an abnormally sized claw), they've always provided excellent advice to help or maintain Frankie. It's refreshing not to be upselled on services we don't want or need, they actually recommend a slightly less expensive shampoo option because it was far more beneficial for Frankie's skin. Plus, what dog doesn't love a sweet bandana!

I went into the store on September 28th to buy a collar for my dog Rosco … so he wouldn’t lick his wounds. Erica was at the register, and she ran back to the aisle to help me find the correct caller for my Labradoodle. She was so helpful. Unbelievable, she rushed back-and-forth from the register to the aisle at the rear of the store…. Hats off to Erica. She is incredible!!!Petsmart is so fortunate to have her.Tom Dineen

I wouldn’t put even one star for the grooming they did for my Maltese . The cut was awful (after I specifically asked not to cut too short)- the groomer was unskilled I suppose.There were deep shaved patches all over his fur. The neck was completely shaved. (They say that there were tangles but I know how I brush my puppy. Totally unsatisfied(((

Stopped in for some new aquarium livestock and supplies. Very knowledable staff. The gentleman at the register even realized I could have saved money with the same product but larger packaging. He grabbed the items for me. Great service!

The Petsmart grooming staff was friendly and knowledgeable. My dog looked great after her groom and overall I was pleased with the service. The salon was very busy and the staff were working hard to accomodate everyone, however, it seemed that maybe they were taking in more customers then they could handle. Walk ins were getting priority over scheduled appointments, which was frustrating. However, overall I was pleased with the results of the groom and the price. I will likely return.

I scheduled a grooming appointment 9 days ago. Today I arrived at the store and the appointment had not actually been schedule by the person who answered the phone. Now I will have to wait for who knows how many days for another appointment. So frustrating

Just want to say what remarkable service. We brought our rescue pup in after we adopted her from the shelter to get her some things and Gail such a wonderful person. Her customer service skills and her love for animals are something you do not find to be common in this day of age.

FYI if your dog has cancer they will not groom them; this is a new policy. I’m disgusted; I asked, “so she’ll just grow out until she dies then?” And they just shrugged their shoulders and looked at me with blank stares. Isn’t their slogan “we love pets?” I looked at my dog laying there on the ground not knowing what was going on; it truly felt like ageism and discrimination.Gross. Never stepping foot in there again.They could have relayed that my veterinarian can write a letter to let her be groomed, but that didn’t happen either. Now the groomer can have some more time to stare at her phone!
