Closest store to me and that is the only reason why I even continued to go. Time and time again this location continues to disappoint me with extremely slow and incompetent workers especially at checkout. It is like a reality show to see how long they can make customers wait til they get to the point of just leaving their items and walking out of the store. I have experienced this many times. I went to this location solely based on location but I have found it is quicker to drive to Hawaii and back before you can buy a can of soda at this Walgreens. Save yourself the stress and time and do not shop here.

The service here is horrific. Delays in ordering medication (I've found that the only way to ensure a prescription is filled is to call and specifically request that they order the medication). On four separate occasions the pharmacy has not provided the right quantity of medication, and they call me frantically asking me to come back in because they "left some on the counter". Wait times to just speak with anyone often exceed an hour. I went there on 10/18/23 with my phone in hand (on hold for 45 minutes) just to see three people behind the counter standing around - they simply don't pick up the phone. This location should be avoided at all costs.

Called to see if they do Passport photos. They said yes. I came in same day and the woman there did not know how to use the camera or know how to turn on the overhead lights to take photo. She then recommended I go to CVS. CVS in west Newton got it done in 10 minutes. Don't waste your time at Walgreens

Pharmacy is impossible to contact over the phone. They put on hold indefinitely. There's always "1 caller ahead of you." I suspect they do this to avoid having to pick up the phone and do their jobs. Utterly worthless

I went into this Walgreens Thursday night, February 9, 2023. I was extremely unwell needing 2 products. The young man, a teenager I think, was the MOST HELPFUL AND KIND PERSON have ever met. Just by his expression on his face he could see that I was in distress. He helped me locate exactly what products I needed. He went the extra steps!!!Even helping me further when I had tears in my eyes from severe pain.I wasn’t able to catch his name.Walgreens made a very good decision by hiring this young man. And whoever is raising him, YOU should feel VERY PROUD of the great job you did and continue doing.If only other parents/caregivers could follow your lead.

Canceled my flu shot 4 hours before the scheduled time because the store decided to close early as it's Halloween. I asked if they could give me another time and the representative said no go back online. Poor customer service every time I've walked in there. It's a shame as it's a beautiful store in a great location, the staff just doesn't care.

My wife has had an extremely bad experience the past few weeks. She is in significant pain because her prescriptions are not being filled in a reasonable amount of time. Reaching someone by phone is almost impossible. They make you stay on hold for 45 minutes and then disconnect the phone. Going into the store is terrible. There is a huge line and every time I have been there one person who takes about 30 minutes per patient. I would highly recommend trying to find another pharmacy. It is sad that they have so much business where they can treat customers like this. This is one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve had in several years. I would ideally like to give -5 stars.

Worst Walgreens ever. I am in there everyday buying stuff Bc they are right near my work and it’s convenient, they have the worst selection of everything! The customer service is terrible. The new people they hire are absolutely awful. The new gentleman that usually works mornings has no manners and no people skills whatsoever. He ignores his customers and doesn’t know how to give change. He didn’t give me the right amount of change, I watched him but it was only .05 so I really could not have cared less but anyone else I’m sure would’ve said something. They really do hire incompetent people. There are a select few people who are actually helpful and know what they are doing. I do not recommend you going to this Walgreens.

This is the worst pharmacy in the world. They need to be closed. Incompetent, terrible, just the worst experience ever. Autofills don’t work, our prescriptions are never ready when they need to. Have to wait for an hour to pick up our prescriptions. Tried to sign up for text message notifications when prescriptions are ready but never get a text. Terrible work hours too, can’t get a prescription on the weekend. And now that we are trying to transfer to a CVS pharmacy, it’s giving us problems too. They don’t have fax, so CVS has to call them. But when they call, they are kept on hold forever and then getting dropped.

I never baught one thing in this Walgreens that matched the price on the shelf, it's always more from a bag of chips ,a candy bar or a bottle of water it's always more at the register ,they have all these promotional orange tags but the price they reflect it's never the same always more and yes I add my Walgreens number. I don't know if they put the wrong tags or the tags are expired but the manager needs to go around the store and fix this

I have been going to Walgreens for years, I've never had any problems with any location except this one. I wouldn't even recommend getting something as simple as a chapstick here. The employees are so rude to their customers & have zero customer service skills. Do not & I repeat do not waste your time going to this Walgreens location, unless you want to be frustrated, angry, annoyed, belittled...shall I go on??? Unfortunately giving zero stars was not an option...

It's crazy! On hold for 10 - 20 mins then hung up on! Not once twice or three times but several times. Found out they only have 1 pharmacist and 1 associate trying to handle everything including covid testing covid vaccinations and prescriptions! Crazy Walgreens obviously doesn't support its staff. Time to change pharmacies

PERMANENT BOYCOTT OF ALL Walgreens DUE TO THIS STORE.This location blocked a valid Rx for Ivermectin and called the police because I was politely, quietly, calmly, and respectfully asking questions they were refusing to answer with honestly or answer at all. No customers were in line behind me.Ultimately with police there as my witness, they attempted to to illegally steal my Rx (my property by LAW) from me and hide any records of my Rx in their possession. Sorry, but this isn't going to fly.I'm filing a Pharmacy Board Complaint Form with Massachusetts Department of Public Health.This store and the employees involved are deplorable.How will they look when the TRUTH comes out?

Went to the bathroom with my friend and the worker came in said we’re lucky she didn’t call security and said we had to leave, we were not even in there for 2 minutes. We spoke to someone about the situation and I the same woman continued to be rude to us.

This pharmacy is incompetent and rude. Every prescription I get is questioned and they take days to fill my needs prescriptions while they argue with my doctor. It is frequently overcrowded with other frustrated customers with no room for social distancing and when you try to call to ask questions you are continually put on hold. Go to one of the many other Walgreens in the area.

I have been victim to rude and lazy service. However, I witnessed something truly awful, a cashier yelling, insulting a customer this past Friday afternoon. Selection of products is awful too.

While the staff is usually friendly, the pharmacy seems unable to keep even the most commonly prescribed medications and medical supplies in stock. Example: today a prescription for erythromycin was called in.by my doctor. It is a fairly nasty condition. This pharmacy did not have it in stock. Erythromycin! One of the most commonly prescribed medications! There have been other occasions with other commonly prescribed items. The excuse given was that a lot of people use the medication, so they ran out. They had to know they were running low, but did not reorder in a timely fashion. A lame and illogical excuse, I think.

Take and check your receipt here especially if you buy multiple items ,cause you will get double charged. It happened to me 3 times in a row now and even though I live down the street I will never come here again

This place is aweful. Go to CVS down the street. They would not sell me rubbing alcohol because my credit card had a broken strip. It's company policy to not type in credit card numbers for alcohol, yes rubbing alcohol for my son's cut knee, so i make it a point to never go here again. Nonesence . CVS Walnut St, right down the corner.

Horrible service, the pharmacy never answers the phone; if they do, they just keep the place you on hold, answer a few minutes later, and place you on hold again. I am so glad I can use Amazon pharmacy instead of dealing with the clowns who work here.

I’ve been here 4 times for an auto fill prescription that wasn’t ready. The same technician told me each time it would be auto filled and it wasn’t. I’ve never had an experience like this at a pharmacy. Go literally anywhere else.

Avoid this Walgreens at all costs. Though I live right down the road, I'd spend the extra five minutes to go to the CVS in Watertown Square. I have never had a good experience here.
