Love this store! Kathy is so invested in the community. We don't see half the stuff she does, from supporting equity in the arts to local farms- it's evident the store has been a labor of love from the moment she took over. Looking forward to seeing where she takes it next!

Go see Bobbi at Scotty's. That's the place to go. Fantastic food for lunch and breakfast and excellent customer service and an owner who really cares about the community not their own agenda. As far as the Montague Mini Mart just keep driving by you'll save money driving into Turner's anyway on your groceries. I've made so many acquaintances since moving into Montague and the only reason people use the Mini Mart is generally for alcohol cigarettes and trash stickers. Most dread having to even do that. I keep my own experiences with the store to myself but having cancer I have choices still that are in my control and supporting establishments that distract the community is not anything that I will spend what effort I do have to be a member in the community on. I love shopping at Scotty's everything I need in a pinch and a customer service is always 5 out of 5 stars. Kind of like cheers the TV show where everybody knows your name and you're proud to have spent money when you leave with your goods. I never got that feeling from the Montague Mini Mart it was always about drama and being two-faced to the patrons and I don't want to be any part of that and having people talk bad stuff about me behind my back based on hearsay and their own Fabrications so they can be the center of attention is also something else I will not support which is why I do not do business at the Montague many more any longer. After the owner Kathy was on the front page of Mass Live threatening the lives of her child's School Board it also was the straw that broke the camel's back on who I want to support in the town and who I want to be a patron too and support feeding their families.

The public should know that the people who run this store are horribly judgemental and just downright crazy. Kathy is literally nothing but drama. I have been to this store many times and I will drive out of my way so They will never get a cent of my money, and I will tell every single person I know to do the same. If you are a decent person you should not support these people, they do not provide anything positive to this community except hate and judge mental behavior. Don’t say anything in her store because she also is a huge gossip, who twists everything around.

Kathy, the new owner, is vivacious and full of cool, new ideas for community building and making this store a pleasure at which to shop. We regularly stock up on items we need between grocery trips—milk, cream, delicious bread, and, of course, pints of ice cream. It’s not over priced and she carries items you wouldn’t expect, like curries and top of the line Mezcals.

Under new management!I know a lot of customers stopped shopping here due to the former owner. I had a friendly relationship with him, but I understand why others didn't or couldn't due to his attitude and problematic comments.His daughter has recently taken over the store, and she's incredibly wonderful. If you stopped shopping here previously due to the old owner, I would highly recommend stopping in again.

The owner is a great man with a great sense of humor. His prices beat everyone else's and it's right around the corner from my house. I'm a huge fan of supporting our local businesses. His wife is a sweetheart with the most beautiful flowers.
