I stopped in after work a couple of months ago to pick up a birthday gift for my niece. I found some great items as I usually do at Target. What made this visit stand out was the pleasant and personal interaction I had with customer service rep Junior. He was very friendly and seemed genuinely interested in why I was shopping that day and what was going on in my life. He made me smile and I still think about how he took the time to make a connection. Thank you Junior.

It's a very clean store that for the most part is not overcrowded so it's usually an easy shop without the elbow bumps that occur at similar big box stores.One small issue is their inventory shortages on a lot of items.

This is exactly what you would expect from a Target store. Its layout is identical to the Wilmington location. Bathrooms are clean and stock is maintained. Plenty of red shirts around if you need assistance.

I ordered online. It was ready quickly. I got to the store and pick up right there. There was no lines, the clerk was friendly and knowledgeable and got my product ASAP. Great service.

I had to give a star but this store sucks. You put things out of stock because you’re too lazy to do the pick up orders. I’ve bought items that were “out of stock” in store but yet my item got cancelled online. You never answer phones. Corporate needs to come do a visit because you’re “leaders & managers” are a joke.

this specific Target is my go to. I'm also happy they started putting self checkout lanes. I'm not necessarily a social person when it comes to situations like this. Starbucks here is fantastic. met a barista named Maia there once and she was very sweet. every time I get a vanilla bean frap they always put that thickness in just the way I like it.I recommend this Target for anyone who wants a more friendlier store c:

I would like to acknowledge the manager/supervisor of Target in Methuen, Pleasant Valley. Her name is Sandra and she was so patient and kind when I was having a problem with my purchase. She took the time to explain what my problem was and how she was going to correct it. I have never had such a nice and knowledgeable salesperson take the time to explain things with such thoughtfulness and caring. I can certainly see how she is the supervisor/manager. Thank you Sandra.

We requested an item return service on line and we only need to stay and wait in parking area, the staff will come to us to pick the return items for us. It was very good service and very fast in a rainy day.Would like to shop more or maybe only in Target from now on.

Worst Target ever. Went to the target there after ordering a graphic tee that said was on stock only at that location and no one wanted to help me. The girl working there at the graphic tee department said she couldn’t help me and that the shirt I had ordered wasn’t there but not why or what happened. Then my order was cancelled while I was in the store through email right after and said it was out of stock on the email. I then found another shirt I liked and purchased it.I still have the receipt proving I used my card there and online on my bank this was the last place showing a purchase at this target location that same day. I believe I left my card there after making a purchase there. But no has ever answered their phone when I have called every day . I have called when they first open, during lunch, and even after. No one ever answers. How do I know if my card is there if no one ever answer the phone? Who is even working? I called corporate target and even they can’t reach this target. It’s horrible! This target was the last place I went too. I went directly home after that and I checked the car, my purse, in between seats, and even the clothes I was wearing. I have pictures from that same day showing what I was wearing. This is ridiculous. So what am I left to do? Cancel my card and pay for a freaking replacement. Avoid this target at all cost.

The cashier was extremely sweet and helpful. She rang in my sale but sent me to customer service so I could actually pay there to resolve my concern with my red card and still get my discount. Customer service resolved my question that I just could not figure out, and even though I did not have the proper information with me, they gave me the discount in a gift card and finalized my sale so that I did not lose any of the benefits. I could not asked for a better experience!

Came here to say that my cashier was above & beyond amazing!! Shane at the Methuen MA Target was THE friendliest, most personable Target employee I’ve ever had the pleasure of encountering. He was super fast, powering through all long lines effortlessly & was SO sweet to every customer!! Making pleasant conversation, even connecting with the little kids & giving them stickers… Everyone knows Target on a Saturday is a zoo (plus it was the Saturday before Easter… just imagine how busy it was!)but it didn’t feel like that today. I initially overheard him while I was looking at gift cards near his register. I walked the store to find other items and came all the way back because I just had to go through his line so I could compliment him personally! While I was letting him know, the woman behind me chimed in to agree — she said she makes a point to go through his line when she sees him working because he’s just awesome. Please make sure this feedback gets shared with him, the world needs more people like Shane!

Wasted an hour of my life selecting clothes to only have the fitting rooms closed. Asked an. Associate, and they didn’t care to help. Maybe you should have something posted at the door. Super disappointing. Also, swimsuit selection was not good. All tops and no bottoms. What good is that!

By far worst target I have ever been to. Customer service is terrible whether you are face to face or trying to get a hold of any department over the phone. Not only that have done a few drive up pick up orders and something always seems to be missing. Since they don’t pick up any phone calls there has been time I’ve had to call corporate just to get my money refunded. Sad because this is my local Target but I just rather take the drive and go else where. The store is clearly missing a leader who can properly manage this location.

Spanish-speaking employee (his English was excellent) at check out who went out of his way to ensure check out went above and beyond fine. He was extremely polite and helpful with loading my cart after bagging the items and called the manager over to price check an item that had been misrepresented with signage in store. That manager was rude and all over the place (rude to me and to the employee), just not a nice person. The employee at register ensured that I was sent off with a smile and a good day, despite the rude manager. It has been a long while since I have encountered such a nice clerk as this young man at the register and I am sure he will soon enough move up the ranks, as he should.

This Target is clean, well stocked and you can usually find what you are looking for without help. For some reason, the store seems a lot bigger than it should be, and has somewhat of a creepy vibe. It doesn't help that the store is close to empty whenever I have shopped there. Also, they have like 20 cash registers, but there are only 2-3 cashiers on at a time.

I used to love this place but they refuse to open the self/express checkout and lines are always backed up even going down between section A & B. Never enough staff and/or the staff have absolutely no sense of urgency.UPDATE: They now have the self checkout lanes open.

They had a smooth process of checking the location of product I wanted and due to the pandemic I anticipated a long line to checkout, but the cashiers were moving right along. I like that they call the next in line to their register. All other stores just have lines stacking up closer. I appreciate that.

Placed an order for drive up, showed up a little early as my girlfriend needed to grab a couple extra things. While she was in the store I get notification that my item is out of stock and they can't fulfill my drive up. My girlfriend ended up finding the item in-stock along with 2 other boxes of the same item. Clearly they did not even attempt to locate the item for my drive up order it was right in the place it was supposed to be.
