I don’t know what the hell is wrong with the people at the pharmacy at the CVS in Methuen Mass on 233 Broadway St., but it is absolutely unacceptable and it is absolutely wrong. It is probably the reason why they are losing so many customers. They aren’t even answering their phone, they now have an answering machine picking up the calls. It has now been 6 days with no return call. They customer service has gone so far down that I am leaving and highly recommended anyone to switch from pharmacies. I heard there is Walgreens and Walmart and they are providing the same services in a better way. I just heard my hubby pleading for help. The lady didn’t even care to hear him out. People are going with medical issues and need to pick up medication to help their health. Instead of helping they’re trying to give people a heart attack for asking questions about their medication. I feel bad for the patients that can’t or don’t advocate for themselves because they don’t know how or what to do. Here are some ideas: switch Pharmacy, call Board of Health, call your insurance.

Don’t try to call for assistance with anything regarding medication or questions for the pharmacist - you’ll get your head bit off and chastised for asking questions pertaining to your health. In other reviews, the word “abrupt” was used to describe the staff - along with rude, unprofessional and disrespectful I think abrupt is rather accurate.CVS has been around for many years and has always been my go to for prescriptions and various other sundries ; I have decided to take my business to Walgreens as I have had better luck recently, receiving professional help and support from their pharmacy staff and the staff working in the store.I also plan to write a letter to corporate. They need to be made aware of the poor quality of staff they are employing.

I see quite a few.complaimts with the word abrupt in there. Seems to be the same Karen posting different complaints. Noone says abrupt. Anyway. I have been going there for years and they have been very good to me. Customers are the problem. I went to driver through and someone dropped off like 10 scripts and then INSISTED on getting them then. While I was inside, a clerk was busy helping an older gentlemen with a glucometer. She was great and helpful. If you feel entitled and need to go somewhere else, please do. US patient and compassionate customers won't complain.... promise.

The female named Tina that was working today (Sat July 29 - around 1:00pm - Pharmacy) was EXTREMELY RUDE and UNPROFESSIONAL. She was abrupt over the phone and not helpful at all. When I went to pick up my prescription, the service was even worse, she refused to look up my record and stated my son (toddler) is not in their system eventhough I have picked up multiple prescriptions for him at this location.The poor service at this location gets more and more unpleasant on each visit.

Never had an issue until today. Very rude and abrupt over the phone (pharmacy) was going to see about switching pharmacies because mine is always out of needed scripts but didnt get the chamce because she said a quick thank you and bye and hung up without even asking if I was done with refills. Ill keep looking for a new pharmacy.

I was in here today and the place was dead. I buzzed the ringer twice since no one was coming to do their job.As time passed, a young girl , was walking buried in her phone came to the front. No apology, rude as hell. She was wearing a GLTS cheerleading sweatshirt.I work in customer service and this girl should not be in it.

I would actually like to give no stars. CVS how do you even have these people working at your pharmacy.I went today because I had an appt for a covid booster. The pharmacy was closed for lunch but I could see about 4 women working there. So I said excuse me and one of the women said yes. I said hi I have an appt to get a booster here at 6 is there any way I could get it earlier? In the meantime a blonde women in the background started yelling and complaining “stating it’s her lunchtime and that I should not bother them and come back at 2:30-3:00. She was so rude and unprofessional. The lady who I was speaking to was atleast answering my questions and in a nice voice. Even she looked scared of her. I canceled my appt and went to a Walgreens where I had very professional people who were extremely nice.CVS I just read all the reviews and noticed a pattern, maybe you should look at your help. Sounds like they are not doing a great job.

CVS made a mistake filing with my insurance that prevented me from picking up my prescriptions for two weeks. I called to get this prescription they filed I never received cancelled or at least check if they had it and the woman on the phone snapped at me, refused to answer, and even hung up on me. I have a history of hospitalization and am just at a loss as to what I am going to do without my medication for two weeks. Thanks CVS! 🙃

Would never in my life go into this CVS pharmacy was waiting in the drive up for 10 min and when I got to the window they closed on me very very unprofessional! Don’t treat your customers like this! You guys will loose so much business with how these workers are running the business. Never again visiting this store.

My Husband and I usually do not have any issues with CVS, but today my husband was calling in a refill on one of his scripts and the lady who was handling our phone call was very unprofessional and of course she didn’t give her name. I understand that it gets busy and I understand someone might be having a bad day, what I don’t understand or appreciate is someone in her profession taken it out on clients/customers. You have no idea what someone is going through or what someone has been through, so to be very rude and patronizing and condescending is unacceptable. Honestly if you can’t handle your job or the position you are in then I would suggest switching careers. Anyone who is working in health care needs to be caring and have great 👍 bedside manners, it seems that people who are working in the health care business have forgotten why they chose it in the first place. I hope the lady on the other end of the phone line this morning can figure out if this is really the career path she wants to be in and I’ll pray for her and hope for the best for her.

Worst pharmacy EVER! Rude and they always act like they are being bothered by you for doing the JOB they were hired to do. Horrible customer service. Go see Joanna at CVS in Target at the Loop. She is the nicest pharmacist ever. Even when she is busy, she is polite! I avoid this one at all costs. Never ever HELPFUL.

Horrible!! Called pharmacy today to inquire about a prescription. Wish I got the rude women's name. Not sure how people like this work with the public, as she abruptly hung on on me before I could even finish what I was saying. Never will I step foot in this CVS again.

I deal with Matthew many times when I go to CVS and I always find him to be knowledgeable and helpful.He is also very polite and kind.I have known him from the time he first transferred here and he has always been this way from the beginning.

I had to move my family to a different CVS. While it might be difficult to reach doctors during a pandemic, its their responsibility to communicate that and not just inactivate a prescription that is extremely important. Also had such a hard time getting things filled overall.

Worst pharmacy staff ever…very rude and unprofessional. I’ve been getting special formula through them for months and they act like they don’t know what it is or just say they don’t have it…then order it and tell me when to get it??? Feeding my child isn’t optional, they really need to educate there staff better on what they are talking about it’s concerning really hard to believe these people handle medications.

Pharmacy sucks. Store is always low on stock. Drive through has been 'broken' for several months. Tonight the pharmacy closed at 8, though the website says 9. I'm done. Transferring all scrips to somewhere else.

Went there today for a Passport picture. When I walked in there was nobody waiting for service at the counter. The girl working there said something that I did not quite understand but did include the words "wait here" and then she was gone. She came back and people started lining up at the counter. She told me her manager was busy and she would take care of me when she finished with the customers in line. Well, the line just kept growing and new people were coming into the store all the time. I finally said to her that I had been waiting, for what now would be more than 20 minutes and the way the traffic was going I would be waiting all day. She just shrugged at me. Should be 1 star. Ill give an extra for the shrug. Won't be going back here.

There is a literal hole at the entrance of this CVS. The landlord, whoever it is, needs to get $40 to buy a bucket of premixed asphalt and get that fixed. Not sure why it has been like this for years, and only getting worse. Probably thinks the city is responsible or just too cheap.

Good clean store but I usually expect the cashier to pay attention rather than being on the phone. Asked for something behind the counter and was treated rather rudely because she was on the phone. I don't expect a cheery demeanor, but I do expect to be assisted rather than be told you're talking on the phone

Ive been dealing with this cvs for years and recently they've been really unprofessional. I never had a problem but last month they lost my script. I was mad but i let it go. Got the script from my doctor went back to have it filled. They didnt have it. So i had to come back the next day. I take meds for seizures and if they didn't get it too me the next day i wouldn't be having fun. Turn the page to this month. Im going out of town actaully out of state and they put in a order 3 days before. It had to be a special order. Now on the 3rd day they still dont have my meds. I made them switch my scrpit over to another cvs. Witch is way farther from me. This store is ridiculous dont go to the pharmacy cuz they suck. Go buy drinks or food w.e just dont go to that pharmacy.....

Unprofessional pharmacy staff. I have been going to the CVS on 266 Broadway st. in Lawrence for a long time and never had a problem. The CVS in Lawrence did not have my prescription in stock and so they sent it to CVS in Methuen. When I arrived they had me jump from window to window and three associates including the lady at Drive-up told me they weren't any prescriptions sent over. I called the Lawrence CVS and so she told me she called them twice and confirmed. Instead of the employees from CVS Methuen calling them directly, she had me call and relay whatever message I had to. Zobia the person who was helping me told me she didn't understand what my frustration was about. After that she told me my prescription was sent over to Burlington. And finally the answer I left with was that they did not have the prescription in stock. When I spoke to the CVS in Lawrence she told me that they did confirm having it in stock. Besides, the lack of communication and lack of good customer service you could hear them talking about the situation as if they were gossiping. I will never ever come to this location again. Its sad that two stores have such a hard time communicating.

Pharmacy was good the one time I had to use them, however the front of the store, including an overweight manager with gray hair and glasses (best description wirhout seeing his name) is very INCOMPETENT. I dont know how this store is even still open. Should have sued them 2 years ago when I slipped on ice they neglected to put salt on where I even ended up with injuries. I'll stick to my home CVS. These people are morons. Sorry not sorry, it is what ist is.

My child medicine was order, I came to pick it up and it wasn't ready, the tech at theach counter told me it would be a 15 mins wait well 30 mins went by and no medicine, I left and came back 2 hours later, was giving my only one of the medicines charge for two!!! Went back after realizing I didn't have it, and the tech say sorry we never mixed the antibiotics!! Really CVS!?!? I have used this location in the past several times was a bit disappointed today!!!

Certain pharmacy members are wonderful and intentive in their work. They'll help you find answers and help you if you need it. Then other ones who are apathetic and a bad attitude.

I would like to Express how grateful I am for the help I was given, I have had an issue with wound that just wasn't healing for a very long while. I've see doctors at Mass Gen about it they did nothing, not one of them were any help.I was given "a suggestion" to try a Bandage with Manuka Honey. When I say the within the 3 days I had it on, it's been remarkable. Thank you for caring, an awesome advice. These days so often you ask for help, staff point and walk away.

Not a fan of the unprofessional pharmacy here. The female pharmacy tech used her own personal extra care card to get points for my purchase! This was not an item on sale either.

it's probably a tough job to be in the pharmacy and deal with folks all day but it's also tough not understanding what's happening with your meds and then not being given sufficient explanation
