I have been bringing two rather large dogs faithfully every four weeks for three plus years . I can’t say it any better than the family at the Bark Ark . This is a special place with a total family atmosphere. My two are not easy and they make jt easy for them and myself . I am lucky to have found the Bark Ark .

I've used Bark Ark for three years now and have been pleased with their services. My two dogs are medium in size, but can be challenging, especially with nail trimming. Debbie and her team do a great job keeping them clean, nails trimmed, and smelling good. My dogs do not stress-out when I drop them off for their appointment which appears to mean they're happy.

Great communication. Responded right away to all of my emails and same day appointment. That's the good part.Even though a friend warned me NOT to go here, I decided to do it.Bad part is the interaction with Debbie when I arrived. This is our very first appointment for our kitten. I admit I was nervous having him interact with 3 huge barking dogs and leaving him alone. I would have felt better if I received a little compassion and pleasantries but Debbie was very short and gave our feelings no attention whatsoever. She was rude and dismissive. She did promise to take our kitty in "the back on a separate table" which I appreciated but honestly, why wouldn't you do that on a regular basis with kittens?I had to ask. It seemed as though I was putting her out or she was doing me a favor by doing this. I felt very uncomfortable leaving my kitty there and I was so thankful it was a very short appointment. Even though this business is very close to my home, I will not be taking my kitty there again. Bummer.

Paws down, the best. In addition to the groomers being great people, I'm always asking for a few tweaks here and there depending on the season and the staff always groom my pup exactly as I described. He loves being there and can't wait to get in the door.

I took my cat Hope here for a nail trim and a booty groom, as she is tailless and had some issues grooming herself back there. The staff was extremely friendly and professional. Not too pricey either - will for sure be going back!

My dog whined for 2 hours after I picked him up. He's been getting groomed since he was born and that has never happened before. I don't know what went on there but he won't be going back.

Our labradoodle always looks his best after visiting the Bark Ark! We’ve been to multiple groomers and they are by far the best, and really know how to cut a doodle! You can tell they really want you to be satisfied with how your fur baby looks. Highly recommend!

Our Otto is a wiggle butt and gets very excited when he’s around his “friends” & that’s what he thinks of the staff! He loves going & even let’s them brush his teeth (which isn’t easy because, again, wiggly!). They do a great job on his nails every time and are always pleasant & happy. I highly recommend them!

Took our dog Miles for the first time today and they did such a BEAUTIFUL job and took the best care of him! His groom was perfect and exactly what I was hoping for. I highly recommend it here and look forward to bringing our other dogs as well.

We brought our long-haired dog here years ago (through 2006, when he passed away,) when the business was much smaller. They always did a great job. When my father-in-law passed away in 2014, we adopted his Pekingese and kept bringing him to the big-box grooming salon he used. After numerous last-minute cancellations from the previous grooming place, we recently returned to the Bark Ark, and I am truly sorry we did not return sooner! It was great to see how the business has grown, and rightfully so! I will never go anyplace else as long as the Bark Ark exists!

I was told that my Husky/Shepard wore two harnesses while they groomed him and somehow he still escaped a few times and they had to keep getting him hooked back up. The staff were still very nice despite his bad boy behavior, and he still looked fantastic at pickup. Almost a month later still has nice skin and smells great from his visit. They did awesome and refrigerated the chicken I gave them to help bribe him until his apt. He even got an adorable bandana which was such a cute surprise at pickup!!

We had our puppy Jet-Blue groomed yesterday @ The Bark Ark for the first time. Both my husband & I were extremely satisfied with the service our boy received! We can tell attention was given to detail and treatment resulting in the best haircut for our baby. Thank you to all who spent time making Jet’s first experience very easy. Upon leaving the associate said he would be welcomed back anytime , we will definitely return and recommend to our friends. 🐶🐾👍

I wish tears could be show in a review. This team takes dog grooming to the next level. They care for the animals As if it was their own. My dogs hated getting groomed now they look forward to their day at the spa with their favorite groomer Joan. I brought my two 10 mo old kittens to have claws trimmed, ears cleaned and teeth cleaning. One had a privacy shave. There is only one groomer that will handle cats so call to make sure she's available first

I'm very particular about who handles my dogs and more importantly, my dogs are even more so. Australian Shepherds can be a bit standoffish with strangers, but if they like you, you will be their best friend for life. When I tell Jenny Bear that she's going to have her day of beauty, she starts to bounce off the walls, she's so excited. She really loves going to The Bark Ark and when she leaves, she looks like she's ready for the conformation ring, not a hair out of place. They really do a lovely job at the Bark Ark and I can highly recommend their services. Thank you ladies for always taking such great care of my dogs.

From the moment you walk in or call on the phone, The Bark Ark makes you feel right at home about getting your dog groomed there. She will schedule a time for your fur-child (drop off & pickup) and discuss how you would like your pet groomed.When dropping your pet off, she is kind and personable and you get a sense that she really cares about all of the animals she grooms. She'll discuss a bit more about the grooming and then call you when your pet is done. She appears to be quite knowledgable about grooming, I have overheard her on the phone decline grooming requests if the dog is sick, etc.Upon picking up your dog, be prepared to be pleased with the results. She is very good at translating what you ask for into your dog's grooming and is prompt in delivering your pooch back to you. And (perhaps most importantly) your dog will look happy getting groomed there.Her prices are competitive for the area. I highly recommend The Bark Ark and their work for dog grooming.

I called Betty the owner at the Bark Ark needing a full service salon treatment for my Tibetan Spaniel Melody and was very happy that they could accommodate me on a same day request. I'm visiting family here in Massachusetts and my Aunt told me she didn't want the dog in her bathtub.Melody was looking beautiful after her stay at Bark Ark and wasn't stressed out at all by the experience with a new shop. I highly recommend this business.

I recently went into The Bark Ark to do a self service wash. The three groomers there were very helpful and I watched them work with the pets they were grooming while I was there. This group was amazing with the animals I could not believe the compassion they showed towards their clients. While I was bathing my own dog they kept coming over and asking if I was doing o.k. and they also checked to make sure I got all the shampoo out...this is a self service..but they were so helpful. I will definately be back to bath my dog again.

I have an elderly canine requiring delicate and extra care, the staff at the bark ark handled him with the upmost respect, and treated him as if he were their own. I am so pleased with just how much they truly care for the animals. Thank you Bark Ark!

Look at the pictures... only go here if you want your pet shaved, that seems to be the only cut they can do. very disappointing, not worth the price charged.
