The daycare at this location is fantastic!!! The staff is so friendly and inviting. I bring my dog 2-3 days a week and she LOVES it! She comes home happy and exhausted from having so much fun. They take great care of their dog, and keep things clean and safe. It feels like a family! They even have an Instagram account that posts pictures everyday so I can see how much fun she had!!! They also let us know if it's not the right mix of dogs for my dog to attend that day, making sure she will be in a safe and fun environment. I couldn't recommend this location enough for their daycare services!

My dog LOVES Loyal Companion Medway daycare!! She is a fearful dog so we’ve tried several in the area to find a good fit and this is the ONLY daycare that she has consistently loved. They have small groups which is perfect for her, and attentive caring staff that help make sure she is comfortable like introducing new dogs one at a time so she’s not overwhelmed. She can barely contain her excitement when we go into the store, and is so happy afterwards. I truly think this daycare has made her a more confident dog, and I’m so grateful for it!

Loyal companion Medway has an amazing daycare and my dog absolutely loves it there. She literally runs to the car whenever I mention daycare. She’s made so many friends. The staff does a great job and it is always sold out to the point that we book a week in advance.

My Shiba Katsu loves the daycare at Loyal Companion Medway and is excited to see the people there. They are always friendly and take good care of him. It is also very convenient to get supplies there when picking up my dog. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a great daycare.

Mariah and her team were so thoughtful and kind to us and our puppy who came to the store this morning. They showed us around and helped us locate everything we were looking for. They were so knowledgeable and showed us the daycare area, which we can’t wait to get our pup there to start socializing! They listened to all our needs and questions, we can’t wait to go back!

We came in today to get some help fitting our puppy with a harness. Chris spent a good 1/2 hour with us, and even showed my son, some training tips. We are so appreciative of the staff and understand how difficult this pandemic has been on things running smoothly. Each time we go in, we are greeted with kindness and knowledge and such willingness to answer our questions. Thank you so much !!

I've been going to the Medway Loyal Companion store for years and can't say enough about the wonderful staff. They greet me, are helpful and the store manager Kayle, even emailed me to remind me that I had store points and a coupon that were going to expire. My kitties are so happy with their Fussie Cat and Weruva canned foods and their absolute favorite toys are the crocheted creatures filled with catnip!

I really love this place both for myself and for my dogs. The food and toys they carry are super well made and are high-quality. My dogs love everything I get from there. One of the few places I know that carry’s PetPlate and raw bones as well. The staff is incredibly knowledgeable. I am constantly asking them questions about this or that and they are so helpful and always super nice. Their in-store points system helps give me amazing deals, which is another one of the many reasons I keep coming back. I can definitely say that I am a “Loyal Companion” to this store & to the chain, 100%.

Our dog LOVES Loyal Companion!! We bring her for Doggy Day Care once a week for small breeds. It helps her with companionship and exercise!! She absolutely loves it. It is reasonable pricing and amount of times varies!!🐶💓🐶 People there are all very nice!!💗🐶

Staff was pretty stand offish, they misjudged who was purchasing and spoke only to the person who tagged along with me. It happens a lot but is perpetually disappointing. They also assume you know nothing, talking down to you, and from what I can tell make recommendations without any actual basis… maybe it is off who pays them to push product? Anyway, if you care to shop small from people who actually treat you well, there is a great option about 15 minutes away in Bellingham called Happy Tails Market. They are fantastic, MUCH better prices, and the staff is personable and knowledgeable.

We go to LC for treats, food and fun. George, loves doggie daycare/play dates. They do such a wonderful job matching up the right pets and are so kind to them. I love that there is such a place to watch over my pups.

Mitzi loves going to Medway's Doggy Daycare. She can't get from the car fast enough and you can hear her howl to her friends from the front door. It's been a great way for her to socialize and meet some other dogs plus adjust to not being with us all the time. Having a half day option has also been helpful for when I need to help my elderly dad - it makes sure she gets some exercise while I'm gone.

Amazing experience! My German shepherd Bella has somewhat of a funny stomach and we have to be really careful of what we feed her. We went through so many average store brands and they couldn’t have fallen shorter if they tried. We tried to find a higher quality dog food but couldn’t afford the raw meat diet our vet was suggesting we try. In come Andrew. I thought I’d learned a lot researching dog foods and possible causes, but wow did he open my eyes to so many new ideas that never even crossed my mind. He spent a couple months listening to me when I’d come in, and offering other foods cancelling something out we’d tried each time. We finally nailed down a GREAT food that doesn’t upset her stomach(not even stinky farts!) and thankfully was priced reasonably enough I won’t bat an eye for my pup. We went through a long period of trying to do it ourselves with the wrong food, but after borrowing Andrews knowledge and guidance, few more months down the line she’s fully adjusted and like a different dog! Couldn’t recommend anywhere else but this business they actually have a passion for animals and what they do! If you want the best for your animal(and wallet) don’t look any farther. Also though my saving grace was Andrew working through all of that with me I think it’s a safe bet everyone at that store shares that passion. Amazing environment!

Andrew and team are awesome. I swing in there and it feels like a mini therapy session about my dog. The staff is very knowledgeable about raw diet and helps with things my dog needs when he’s had issues in the past. It’s great to walk in and have people remember your name!

We love bringing our dog to LC for grooming. Amber is absolutely the best and our Great Dane loves her! He used to tuck his tail and shake when we’d bring him to one of those big chains. He gets so excited to see her and it makes the drop off very easy. She takes such good care of him and we won’t go anywhere else.

Avoid this store like it was Covid-19!I've been a a customer of this store since it was Especially for Pets and it has gone down hill ever since. I've tried to stay "loyal" but often times they don't have the dog food I use and today was the last straw. I have a 12+ year-old dog with severe joint and arthritis issues. I bring her here to have her nails trimmed every month or two (if they have a groomer on staff that is). It's difficult for my dog to get in and out of the car and make trips like this and when I arrived for my appointment today, the manager told me the groomer Amber did not come in and "sorry but we can't do the nail trim", in short because I was the only appointment so it wasn't worth having the employee come in. No one called, texted or emailed me to cancel the appointment or try to reschedule. Complete disregard for my time and my pets well being.Pet products are pet products, what a makes a store unique or successful is the people, and believe me, the biggest problem here is the staff. This place is run horribly, from the manager to the employees, basically a bunch of inexperienced kids.I will not be back.

Samantha groomed my kitty Versace into a lions cut that is positively PERRRfect! She listened and made his experience wonderful! He looks so charming, and even better, now he won't have any more knots under his arms! And affordable! Hard to find kitty groomers these days...Win-win for both of us!

Had a dissatisfying experience. Our golden doodle was somewhat matted due to COVID. I saw their offer on line for dematting. Brought my dog in for grooming. He is still bleeding from several nipple areas during the grooming . They told me unless I brought him in every 6-8 weeks, they would not groom him. advertise one service. Provide something less. Do not recommend this company.

I brought my golden in to get groomed. I was nervous because he is 3 and it was his first time going to a professional groomers and Amber did amazing. She listened to my preferences and Kayla the manager was empathetic about my leaving him. I will definitely be bringing Dunkin back there to see Amber again. Great experience for both Dunkin and I.

I went into the Medway store expecting it to be like Especially for Pets. I was so disappointed! I had been a frequent customer of Especially for Pets.I brought my small dog 16 lbs) dog into get fitted for a seat belt harness. The manager was there with a young female employee . The girl seemed inexperienced at fitting the harness but she was very sweet and trying to be helpful.The manager stood off to the side and there was no one else in the store. The young girl asked the manager ( I think his name was Mark??!) for help. I also asked him to help us and there was stillno one in the store besides us. He refused to help us and said to the young girl this is how you learn.I ended up buying a medium size harness but it was too big and my dog got loose when I was driving.I called the store to see if I could exchange it. I explained to the clerk how the dog had been fitted incorrectly. I could hear a man talking in the background . I didn’t have the packaging and he was saying , not without the packaging. He got on the phone and was rude to me. He said bring it up and we might take it back!I never brought it back. I didn’t want to deal with him.This happened when Loyal Companion first switched over from Especially for Pets. So I went in for a second visit with an open mind. I wasn’t impressed enough to spend my hard earned money in that store.

If you have any questions about switching your pets to a healthy diet talk to Andrew in Medway. He was incredibly knowledgeable about the benefits of a more biologically appropriate diet and how to make the transition go smoothly. Thanks to Andrew my puppies are off to a great start. With the help of his information and support I also decided to switch my overweight cat (and his thin companion) from his prescription reduced fat diet to a much healthier raw diet and my vet could not believe the difference at our last visit! Thank you Andrew !

Mariah, the new manager, helped me figure out what to feed my cat …. Daisy. The vet doesn’t know what is causing her allergy but suspects it’s her food. I went home with four options and reason to be hopeful. Loyal Companion had many limited ingredient brands to choose from but I would have been stumped without Mariah. No more PetSmart or Petco for me. No one there knew how to help me. I am grateful.

Best shopping for puppy food, clothing, other needs. They carry a wide variety of brands. Helpful staff. Particularly helpful that they carry Under the Weather brand to help with puppy indigestion

If you want to get your dog's nails trimmed just call ahead. You can make a donation for $10, buy your dog a treat and have nails done! Always a good selection of quality food toys and treats for your pets. Might be slightly more expensive but staff are helpful and always have great advice.
