I ordered online for pickup. It was not a smooth purchase. It was confusing the other time I ordered this way as well. First, whenever I sign in to my online account, it is not my store. I always have to find my local store because they have me in a far away store an hour away. The place is great if you just go in to see what they have in stock. I ordered and had to go back twice. I didn't understand that they didn't have everything I ordered. I do not understand when the second part of purchase came in and how I was notified. I got an email asking for a review. I went in weeks later when I was in the area and the rest of my order was in. I wish there was a text letting me know. I was supposed to get $7 off. It is not clear that I did get the discount because I cannot find where my online receipt is. In the future, I will just go into the store because it saves time and frustration. In person it is a 5. Online it is a 1.

My husband went in yesterday to buy a wheel barrel for a friend spoke to an employee who said it would be put together and he could pick it up today. We stopped about an hour ago and no one knew what he was talking about and basically just ignored what he told them so he walked out disgusted. Absolutely no customer service and everyone wonders why people shop on line …. Better customer service from a computer sad world we live in.

I recently visited my favorite hardware store to buy a ladder and a barrel. Judy helped me and Jackie cashed me out. The store was filled with inventory people and customers. These two women were kind, knowledgeable, patient, treated me with dignity and made me laugh. I wish I could remember the name of the man who helped me put my purchases in my car. This is where I go for all my hardware needs. Thank you to Judy and Jackie!

I never received a text that my order was ready for curbside pick up. So I waited and waited three days before I asked my husband to go to the store and see where my order is. He did end up picking it up but it would’ve been nice to get a text that my order was ready for pick up.

The staff here are outstanding! You can always find someone to help you locate exactly what you need; and if you don’t know what you need, they will help you determine the best choice for your project. I have never encountered a rude or unhelpful staff member here.

Rented a carpet cleaner, although short staffed they were very efficient and tended to my order even though the associate was suppose to start her break.Shampoo machine worked amazing! Easy return process. Would definitely recommend.

The store is very convient for me. I have gone to this store for many years because they seem to always have what I am looking for. The daytime workers are very helpful and are pleasant. I gave it 4 stars because some of their items are over priced than the other Aubuchon Hardware in Sandwich.

Worst experience I’ve ever had in a public establishment. What I’m guessing is the stock associate (she had no name tag) said hello to me after passing by me a half dozen times. I thought she was a customer as she was wearing dirty jeans and an old biker T-shirt. Now that I knew she was an employee and not a customer, I figured I had someone with some knowledge of the store who could point me in the direction of something I was looking for. Nope. I asked “where might this product be”? Twice. She then loudly stated “oh, you’re talking to me?” We were the only two in the aisle. She then goes, “normal people say excuse me before they ask me for something “. She then loudly gave me directions. Nope. I dropped my stuff and left.

I went to the Coquit store weds the 16th to check out a post light fixture. They people working there basically jumped through hoops to help me out. It's not often nowadays you get personal service to make things go smoothly. Anyway there's more to this story but had to put a shout out to the crew at this store...should be 10 star review! I have found Aubuchon Hardware in Ticonderoga to be an old school hardware store. The employees are all incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. I was use to waiting by an item or looking for help at Home Depot or Lowe’s. I witnessed new employees being trained with great care and skillful teaching. I highly recommend this excellent hardware store.

This one star post isn't against the store. It's specifically about 'Bud' , a mean, grumpy disgruntled associate who shouldn't be in retail. He outright says his opinions right in front of customers and it definitely comes off as rude and opinionated. He should mind his own business and keep his opinions to himself

I was helped by a new employee who is bi-lingual. He was able to work with me and a man who had little english. This was another memorable experience with the kind and so helpful staff at 'AUB.' They always go beyond the expected!

I was recently in the Marston Mills store looking for suet bird food and couldn't find a price. The young associate saw me poking around and asked if I needed help. I told him what I was looking for and he pulled out his mobil phone, scanned the code and told me the price. I ended up buying the product. I also appreciate the veteran's discount that Aubuchon offers and the $5 coupons.
