Experience was fine. Except when it came to checkout. Only one register open and customers with baskets full. Therefore used self checkout. This has happened twice within last couple of weeks. I normally shop at Market basket but stopped in.

My favorite local store. They always have the freshest produce (check out the fresh cut fruit! Yum!) and meat. The store is super clean and the people are very friendly. The prices are comparable to MB, I often spend less here than I do over there. Most of the time, it's a lot less crowded too, so it's a great place for stress free shopping.

This store is clean and cozy. The products seem to be very high quality.There didn't seem to be as many generic options as I'm used to in grocery stores. Definitely felt on the more expensive end of the market, but for nicer items.There is free parking.

The lady with tattoos who works in the deli department on Sundays has the worst work attitude I have ever seen, I don't think it is good for the store that when someone goes to that area they treat you like you are bothering you for ordering something for which you are going to pay.

This is such a great grocery store. It's very clean, well laid out, pleasant to the eye, has some good deals (especially if you get in on the app) and a very large variety of items. Most importantly, pleasant people work here. It even has a fake tree, like come on.

I loved this store. However, every time I go there is only 2 checks outs open and 4 self check outs. I seen produce person talking berries out of a container and placing them in other containers with newer fruit. Unfortunately I won't be back.

The customer service here is always wonderful, specifically the workers who do Hannafords to go. They're always polite and efficiently fast bringing the orders out too! Food wise everything is always great, though can sometimes be lacking in the variety of fruits. Aside from that this is my go to whenever I food shop.

Has a Variety of Food, Drinks, and Items that people need at reasonable prices.Recently when my Mom was watching the Dog, and got the food delivered, they forgot the Chocolate Ice Cream.The Manager was Very Nice, Helpful, and Helped Resolved the Issue in the perfect way! Such Good Customer Service.I was able to get my Mom the Chocolate Ice Cream.

It's not a good experience. Overall fair selection, high prices. Dingy. Produce is good though - a little pricey, but good stock very fresh.Very under staffed. One cashier on a Friday afternoon. 15 people trying to check out. Another 20-30 people shopping inn the store. Both self check outs down for simple, fixable reasons. No manager in sight.Another rotten experience.

Nice clean store, employees are helpful, and they started online to go orders which is great when you're in a pinch. Cons are they always have expired foods on the shelf/refrigerators and you have to be extra careful checking for that, including when you order to go. I keep ending up with bad food, just opened up my chicken thighs days away still from the sell by date and they smell rank and are slimy. The few times I've had to call about spoiled food or being shorted on my to go order they said they'd mail me a gift certificate, which they've never once sent. Not sure it's worth going here anymore.

Awful. So I placed an order with them a week ago for a cake to be picked up on Saturday. They call me two days beforehand tell me they don't do that frosting and that I can go to Chelmsford or dracut. I said I'll do Chelmsford it's closer can you transfer it they said yes last year they transferred it (I completely forgot they didn't do the frosting) So I check on my order and it still says it's in Lowell I call them today day before having to pick up the cake and they never transferred it apparently they don't know how to but they did it last year. Hannaford's train your employees to do their job and to let the customer know that if they can't do something that they can't do it that would have been awesome. Never ordering from this one again.

I really like this grocery store. My usual go-to grocery store is Market Basket but because of a relocation issue I have been forced to try out this store and to be honest I am glad I did. The store selection alone is worth the trip. Granted it is a little more expensive than MB but I personally think it's worth it.I think I may have just found my new "Go-to" grocery store.I would definitely recommend this place!Way to go, Hannaford!

I love shopping here. The management team does a great job. Hannaford rewards and digital coupons make it easy to save money. Love the fresh veggies and fruit. Great cheese selection. I’m a big fan of the grab n go sandwich and salad. Lots of specialty items.

Good place with great prices, not as expensive as Stop and Shop! The only issue I have is that they actually charge you 5 cents per paper bag during the pandemic even though the governor rescinded the plastic bag ban. Their rewards program is decent and offer you a chance to take some money off your next tab when you go shopping.

Stuff here is usually more expensive than your regular Walmart or market basket. The hot ready to eat fried chicken wings are very good though. I always go with kids and they always want to ride in the cool carts and you can only get that at the front main entrance.

Solid Hannaford!! Very clean,nice employees,only have long lines at rush hour ( 4:30-6pm) but they move quickly.Great produce!! Meat dept is ok,a little pricier than market basket.Spend the extra and get your meat with the butcher,not pre- wrapped.Small ice cream section.

Love it. Summer salads are real good. Not too vinegar-y. White American cheese is good as well as other cold cuts. Roast beef is real good. I love the bakery. Clean. No clerks restocking while I am shopping. I've been shopping there steady for about 2 years, now. They like to do local business which I really like. Try their carrots - they are real good. Also, USDA beef, which I like a lot. If the prices are higher, it's well worth it. 08/09/2017 - I posted this months ago and I am still very happy there.01/19/2019 - Still happy at Hannaford's.05/25/2021 -- Still there.

Good produce. Reasonable selection of organic foods. Excellent selection of Asian and Spanish food (fermented bean paste? Persian spices? Yes and more.) Never as crowded as the Market Basket zoo. MB does however have better cheese selection.
