Hello! Just had another fantastic visit with Dr. Sacks. Thank you for always getting right to the point and understanding what we need as cat-parent and patient. (And in other visits dog-parent and patient). It makes a world of difference and goes a long way. Thank you! She and the staff and the other doctors at Hingham Animal Clinic are all wonderful. I have two cats and two dogs. We have been clients for several years and I can’t see any reason to change. Good people at the Hingham Animal Clinic (and a very friendly canine welcoming committee). ; )

Dr Geldmacher and all of the assistants I have come in contact with have been wonderful with my 14-year-old high maintenance pup. We also had a good experience with my cat who needed to have three teeth extracted. That was with a different vet and I am so sorry I cannot remember her name but she was great too as was the assistant that followed up with me.

Worst experience everBrought my dog in to see Dr SacksAfter charging me way more money for a holistic consult she has other vets see my dog.They overdosed my small dog. He started throwing up so I called the hospital, Dr Sacks said bring him in and she would see himShe was not there that day so he was only given fluids by a vet techThen she said bring him in the next day for her to see him and had some other vet attempt to treat himDr Sacks acknowledged that my dog hadbeen given way too much medicine but blamedit on her peersPlease take your animals to a better hospital

This is not my name at Hingham Animal Clinic, where I am known by my first name of Victoria. Just FYI. My experience in brief at Hingham Animal Clinic has been sterling in every respect. I say "sterling," meaning silver, as it is a priestly function first of all to care for the wounded and help the suffering-too-much to be at peace. Also, to deliver ordinary pastoral care. But it is also a "golden" experience, because as was believed in older days perhaps more superstitiously, "the touch of a king (gold, alembically or with the laying on of hands, either) cures." Now that I've finished the deserved but more highflown praises, let's descend (if it is a descent and not rather an ascent) to the practical level: from the time I first went to Hingham Animal Clinic with my cat, Lucie-Minou, that is, from the time she was a little more than 1 1/2 years old until now, when she is about 9 3/4 years old, the doctors, techs, staff, and later financial workers there have taken such good care of both of us--of her, in her basic and also more urgent needs, and of my anxieties about her and how she is doing, which may require almost more patience--that we have never wanted to change, in spite of the fact that the travel time is extended & that we are now 2 towns away and a car ride service there and back is costly. They have extended all available discounts to us from the beginning and have been sympathetic to requests for alternate prescription diet items and etc. They have delivered surgeries of a necessary nature with great care, counseling to prevent mishandling of a convalescent, and follow-ups when necessary. The follow-ups when we could get there up to this point have been free for the paid-for or contracted-to-be-paid-for surgeries. I am totally satisfied with the three doctors, though mainly one, that it has been my cat's privilege to be treated by, and I appreciate all the time the whole staff has spent answering questions and providing free information as much as possible, always depending on what they can know without actually seeing the cat in person. Her ordinary maintenance care has also been above reproach, and any time a new problem is sensed, I have been informed of it, and can therefore be at my best as well, to read up on it on the Internet and ask any further questions I need to. I feel that all other things being equal, she still has a long and happy life ahead of her if she can remain in their clinical care, and their empathetic care towards our needs. I have no hesitation in recommending them for as many customers as they can handle, feeling only the discomfort of possibly giving them so many that I might have to compete more for times of service, though that's a selfish consideration, perhaps. Kudos to them, and all they do. VLB

I've used Hingham Animal Clinic for many years. The staff is friendly, the doctors knowledgeable and also friendly. The services are not cheap but I'm not sure any veterinary services are these days and they do offer a senior citizen discount. I've had dental work, neutering and other surgeries, bloodwork and xrays as well as cancer care done there. I highly recommend them.

Dr. Marion Pattilla and staff are awesome. Our cat Lilly and dog Zeus went here for the 1st time 2 weeks ago. The Dr and her staff treated my animals with dignity and respect. Plus, they were kind to my wife as well. We highly recommend them and will continue to come here. We are fans.

So knowledgeable! All of the staff was very welcoming and thorough. I couldn't ask for a better experience for my normally nervous dog. Layla received acupuncture and a number of tests to help keep her healthy.

I dropped my dog off and was so nervous to leave him. It was his first time there, He is the LOVE of my life and I actually shed a tear driving away. I called ofcourse 15 minutes after and they said he is fine. Dr Saks called me and told me he was such a good dog and she loved him! I felt so much better! Then Dr Saks called me and explained everything in detail. Answered any questions. She truly was the BEST!! Then when I picked my Boy up it felt so good hearing everyone say what a good boy he was ( because my last vet had noted him as aggressive ) And DEBBIE WAS THE BEST!!!! Explained what was done, follow up care and even took me to show me the X-ray. Basically went above and beyond !! And everyone else in there I met just made me feel so welcomed!!! 10 STARS!!

I called to get a refill of hart guard for my dog and the woman who answered the phone said that she couldn’t refill it until my dog was seen. I asked for an appointment and I was told they were booked way out and there were no appointments. Further, she told me I would need to call back every day to see if there was a cancellation.I called the following week and a human answered the phone and I had an appointment for the following week. The appointment I got was not a cancellation!!My wife brought our dog in for a check up and we now have the hart guard. However, we also paid $650 for extra procedures that were not explained well via a cell phone call while my wife waited in her car for our dog to come back out. The customer service is horrible!! They could have had the decency to come outside and explain what the procedure s were. We regret having to bring him in now.The first time I brought our dog in I thought they were very nice. For the past two years I have not had a positive experience there.Quite frankly we’re looking for another vet. We’ve moved here to Hull from the metro west and the vet we previously had was amazing compared to this place!! Horrible, just plain horrible.

Dr Heather Sacks and crew were responsive, compassionate and did their best to communicate by phone with me during the appointment where Bruce the Great Dane was in there alone. She answered all my questions and was personable and caring as always, not only about Bruce, but about our larger life situations we are all going through! All in all, it was the best it could be, and I hope this helps any first time clients during these tough times, to have the confidence to employ their services despite the protocols in place. We took one of our clients, 160 pound Great Dane, the vet came out to the car and treated him there. It really helped reduce the Dane stress. The vet also gave us extra information to help us understand why he presented with certain symptoms. Since we weren't the owns she could have not given any extra info but she took the time to educate us and not make us feel as though we were wasting her time.

Because my dog is a handful, I am always grateful when the visits go well. We all seem to have figured out the best way to manage him. Yesterday both Dr. Lincoln and one of the techs took great pains to answer many burning questions for me on both my dogs health and behavior. Needless to say this was a great relief as I learned many things that will help us go forward.
