Went in to return a hatchet handle I had my wife pick up. I brought the head with me to make sure I got the correct one, I thought they were all the same. I didn't know where so many different sizes. But Ace hardware had a bunch of different sizes and had the correct one I needed. Great local hardware store,Highly recommended

Well staffed, knowledgeable professional and friendly. I Support local business.Great stock, this Ace has a lot of inventory that other Rockys don’t. For small business construction plumbing etc. parts without going to u kno who. When your in the middle of a job and just wanna go down the street it’s great alternative to the “we could care less about you” large stores.

These people have serious attitude problems and no this isn't from me going there once. This is after going there for years. I avoid this place unless I have no choice but to go there when it's closer. The pony tail guy is the worst one. Terrible customer service. When you ask for help they act like you're such an inconvenience. I understand people have bad days but they have "bad days" everyday

This is a larger than normal hardware store with just about everything a homeowner or small business needs for basic repairs. Thousands of nuts, bolts, clips, pins and more. Complete plumbing and electrical sections. Knowledge staff can point you in the right direction.

The employees are welcoming, knowledgeable and always helpful. Products may be slightly more expensive than a larger retailer but the local hardware store feel has me choosing to go back and pay a little more everytime

Always got what I need. Employees are ready to help show you where its located. Best of all for me its right down the road so I basically always grabbing small things like nuts and bolts. Not to mention look for deals as i had just purchased a yeti cooler for 50 bucks less for an end of season sale

I've shopped at this Ace for as long as I can remember. However, the last two years, I've been here nearly every week, sometimes multiple times in a day. The staff is so friendly, helping us navigate our home remodel with the right tools. Now, I even go there for recommendations when I need professional help with things my husband and I can't or don't want to do ourselves. This store has been a lifesaver for us, and we couldn't be happier that the people who work there seem to really care, and really be eager to help. I can't recommend them enough.

Great service and a friendly store. Prices are better if you can get sales but rewards are also a good option with the card.Only thing not so great is that many items aren't included with coupons. They make many items look like a sale so not to include them. 🤔

The best hardware store in MA! Employees are extremely knowledgeable and friendly. If they don't have it (which has never happened, they will get it for you). They have helped me with almost every major project that I've had over the last 6 years. Can't say enough good things about this store.

Raced to get there before they closed during a somewhat challenging bathroom remodel. Drain pipes for the sink didn't line up quite right. 5:50 I arrived to clearly not happy to see me people that were literally standing in the door waiting to lock up. Rather than take 5 minutes to help me so we could be done, the gentleman told me he'd be happy to help me if I returned at 8am!! Not the kind of service I expect from a small town store & not the way I have ever treated a last minute customer myself. Very, very disappointed!

Made an online order and was given the wrong product when I arrived. Luckily I noticed before leaving, I went back into the store and kindly explained that after looking at the item I was given it was not the correct item I purchased.The actual issue was with ace hardware sku number and not actually something that the store employee did incorrectly.I was met with an attitude of I shouldn’t be complaining about it, because this is going to cause “me” the store owner a lot of work and I will have to make a phone call to Ace hardware it’s going to take awhile so you will have to wait.I understood it was an inventory issue, but it was not a monetary issue, I was charged the correct price for the item I wanted to purchase and leave the store.After 10 minutes the owner came out of the back of the store with the box and walked to the display hand me item and said ‘here I will just deal with it later’.He could have just said sorry for any inconvenience and I would have been fine but I was made to feel that becouse I spent $200.00 at his store to support a small business in my area that I shouldn’t inconvenience him with a problem that he will have to solve. I could have been in and out of Home Depot with maybe no issues at all, but I chose to support small business instead, I won’t be doing that anymore for this business.

Excellent customer service. I was stupid and lost my only transponder key, after running into a lot of dead ends the owner at this location went above and beyond to help me for a very reasonable price. I don't even want to think about what it would have cost to call a mobile locksmith or go to the dealer.

This small shop always has what I go there for, it's great. It seems like every time I go to a big box stores I leave frustrated. The hardware selection is great; it's saved me a few times! Can't recommend this place enough!

Absolutely abysmal service, I bought a wheelbarrow wheel here it was missing some pieces, I tried to return it and received no compensation whatsoever, I actually would have bought the missing pieces, or bought a new wheelbarrow or bought a new wheel but the associate was so hell-bent on saving about $12 that he didn't even want to talk about some sort of a deal, not that the $12 is going to make me a break me it's a matter of principle, I would rather drive an hour in the future to go somewhere else I have never received this type of behavior from any Lowe's or Home Depot, my intention was to try to put my dollars into the local community but it doesn't appear that this local community hardware store has any interest in keeping business from The Town. I actually left the wheel on the counter and I went to buy it at Lowe's perhaps they can sell the wheel without the pieces like that was sold to me and make a few dollars extending that savings to another customer, but I can assure them one thing, it will not be me.Disappointed...Update, I went to Lowe's and for what Ace was going to charge me $38 for, Lowe's charged me $18 with a veteran's discount,Lowe's never seems to disappoint me
