The Deep Blue Galaxy urn I ordered for my beloved’s ashes arrived today. It is simply beautiful. The size (medium) is perfect for the portion of ashes I’ll be keeping here at home.My guy loved to look at the night sky. The glaze on this urn echoes that sky wonderfully - there’s even the ghost of the Milky Way - so it’s a perfect choice for his last resting place.The urn is well & elegantly made. Clean edges, smooth finish, deep & even glazing, well fitted lid. And it arrived promptly. Ordered from MA on the 13th, arrived in WA on the 17th.It’s also worth noting Lucy’s commitment to using sustainable packing materials. It’s no small feat to pack ceramics for shipping and she does it in a way that protects both the urn and the earth, using mostly paper or other recyclable materials.

We ordered urns from Lucia Pottery for the remains of both my parents, the "Blue Galaxy" design for my father and "Tranquil Waters" for my mother. We had the urns interred together at a graveside service in July 2020. My mother had died in March, and Lucy Fagella was kind and very prompt sending the urn very soon after when I called. The glazes are unique and the service was personal and perfect.
