i love the ice cream, drive thru is always a bit slow. but other than that, no complaints & employees are sweet.Parking: there are always spots to park in, whether it’s far from the door or close to it.Kid-friendliness: basically the whole restaurant is kid friendly.

This is the most depressing restaurant I have ever set foot in. This was my childhood favorite. Now, as an adult, I return to this pile of garbage.Nothing would make me happier to see this place boarded up - there's trash and mouse traps set underneath booths, the waitresses badmouth their management to customers which I can understand honestly, and the service is slower than molasses on a January day going down a ski jump. They had half of their menu of ice cream in stock, were missing tons of food, and sent out the worst food I've ever tasted. My friends Mac and cheese was pasta floating in water, my other friend had lemonade that was just cloudy water. A soda spilled when the booth slid out from under us, and the waitress licked it off the table.This is pathetic, and I know the only reply this will get will be a blank corporate reply from the company. I just want people to know to avoid this. I would be surprised if this place is still open next year.

We came here for some good ole ice cream and it was so good. I can only rate our experience with regards to the ice cream, we did not eat there. First of all, the staff was working overtime. They were clearly understaffed and it’s not their fault. Kudos to the staff who were working their butts off. The ice cream was absolutely amazing. Nice and creamy. The sugar cone reminded me of my childhood days. Great place to grab some really good ice cream. I would recommend going here if you’re in town.

The Blue Colony Diner is special. You get service better than any other diner I have visited. Have you ever been served coffee in a cup that size. Also, I asked to get my salmon served rare. I got it just the way I wanted it, not a common thing. Most places, and this includes "fine" restaurants, refuse to make it anything but cooked all the way through. Tasteless! They had a "spread" of cookies and cakes I never have seen in any other restaurants. On a final note; the prices are very reasonable, something you don't find elsewhere. I definitely will recommend a visit to my friends.

My friend and I went in for dinner. What a great atmosphere, Amanda was our waitress she was there for everything we needed. They had these inflatable hats we requested them, they were fun for seniors to get the hats. Encouraging the young kids in to also ask for the hats! Our dinner came quickly and was still very hot!! Restaurant and facilities were very clean considering it is right off of the highway.

First order of a wrap came just the chicken tenders that’s it. Reordered it and called to make sure it came correctly, this time they added specifically what I requested not to be on it and didn’t include the sauce. So I call again and whomever picked up the phone was incredibly rude and said “well what do you want us to do?” I said you guys need to pay attention and she said well “have a great day” and HUNG UP THE PHONE ON ME. No wonder this place is being replaced. HORRIBLE service and they either need to retrain or fire the employees.Dietary restrictions: Do not ask for any restrictions they do not listen.

The people serving are extremely rude was not thrilled with the food waffle fries were soggy and only a small amount on a adult size order the chi hen tenders tasted disgusting dried up and old. Terrible and no one came back to ask us how it was the photo was as it was bright to table

It was great sitting down at one of the last Friendly's restaurant around. The Greenfield location has Great Service and Wonderful food. The waitress was awesome, checking on us just the right amount of times. 100 out of 10 rating!

Love coming to this place to either eat food to fill my tummy or enjoying ice cream on a hot day. The staff are friendly, food is customizable to my personal liking and is fun for all ages!! Definitely a good place to try if you havent!Vegetarian options: Protein options like the Gardein burger and the impossible burger, and or there are salads!Dietary restrictions: Cooks will use a whole different area for allergies and switch gloves, ice cream scoopers with switch gloves, use different scoops. They take allergies seriously. Dietary, they offer for ice cream frozen yogurt and sherbet, with all types of toppings to choose from! When it comes to food, the menu has a wife variety, salads, beef-less meat substitutes, soups and all types of other things that are all customizable; to the chicken being either crispy or grilled!Parking: Big personal parking lot for the restaurantKid-friendliness: The kids menu has a ton of different options for entrees with sides! Offers smaller meals for the smaller kids and bigger meals for the bigger kids or the ones who are the must hungry! Each meal comes with a free or discounted ice cream of their choice! Coloring sheets are offered to kids when they first walk in, adults can have them too just ask!!Wheelchair accessibility: Areas to store the wheelchair/walker, also offers tables where wheelchairs can be served at!

Came here for dinner recently at about 7:30pm. There were only three other tables being waited on, yet it still took 5+ minutes to be seated. Hostess gave us the table closest to the kitchen, where we had a prime view of a big argument that took place between staff members. Lots of cursing and screaming, and there were still parties with children dining. The kitchen has no doors to it, so everything was displayed. Our own server was very kind, and the food was good, but this will be our last time dining at this location.

This specific location was once one of the busiest of all the Friendly's locations nationally. It definitely has seen better days as this location is run down and worn out. From the large potholes in the parking lot to the weathered building and the somewhat depressing old interior, this location needs a major do-over. With a very active MacDonald's next door, they tried to compete by installing a drive thru, which, beyond a coffee or ice cream, I don't see the point of it. Service is somewhat lackluster, and the food, generally, seems to be a pre-frozen to microwave quality. Hopefully, the owners will take a higher interest in their investment and turn this location around, but until then, I don't recommend stopping here. I absolutely love this place The atmosphere is relaxing with an updated retro look inside the dinning area.The waiter was friendly and patient with us while we ordered our food. I feel as though we didn’t wait to long for our food and everything was fresh and hot.I got the burger mania with loaded waffles fries and mozzarella sticks! I believe a picture says a thousand words so Judge my meal for yourself?!Pros: Great food, fast service friendly staff, clean, and great pricing!Cons: You stick to the dinning seat on a hot day

Drove down to Greenfield from Vermont just to have dinner at Friendly's. Bacon cheeseburger was very good and my partner had the pastrami melt which she said was very good also! They keep this place very clean and the service was great. Will be going back sometime soon.Parking: Easy in and out access and plenty of room

We tried drive through for first time. I wish I payed attention to staff names as they were excellent( Sat. Pm 5/27/24). We took a minute at drive through as we weren't familiar with menu, they were very patient and kind. Loved they take Apple pay. Food was hot, order correct, provided straws and napkins( I appreciate this). When requested condiments for fries it was no problem. Really great staff so helpful when we were tired and hungry. Would recommend! Would like a gluten free option .Dietary restrictions: Not gluten free friendly

Last night, a staff member was yelling abusively, at the top of his lungs, at other staff in the kitchen. I could hear it through the drive thru window with the window closed. It was miserable.The other staff were clearly struggling, and he wouldn't stop being aggressive and screaming at everyone. It felt like a very unsafe toxic working environment. It's unacceptable to let staff abuse other staff like this, they don't deserve it. Please take action.
